It always feels for me that my days are sliping very fast. I usually manage to take lunch break mid day and I leave gym to the end, maybe by 7 pm. Very busy usually! It would be awesome if you made a video about a long-term career plan geared towards about starting your own practice and share your experiences, initially starting out, how you get clients, any hardships etc. Your videos have helped me a lot, much love!!!
Gab is one of the best engineers I have ever dealt with his skills and building knowledge is A1 . I would recommend him to any builder . He is a great problem solver and an all round great guy

3rd year structural in NZ. Structural is beautiful as is applicable to both civil and aerospace (something i have particular passion for). Going to check out more of your videos mate good job.

To be honest, the aerospace industry is small except rocket lab, hence as I mentioned doing it for the passion worst case scenario. I think you’ll have to be decent at fea, and in a few mechanics, concepts such as fracture mechanics, dynamics etc. All the best mate.

Hi there, I’ve been drafting for about a year part time for a friend if mine. He’s got a civil/structural consulting firm which I only work on structural. Most of the work have been commercial/business type buildings. We are & will be taking on many home (foundation/structural) going forward. I have not went to school for any of this type work and I’m in my 50’s. I’m definitely looking into learning more. When will your courses be ready? My direction from engineer is usually well into a project. Actually I’ve considered going back to school this late in life (I’ve got at least 20 years ahead of me I can put into this work). Hi I want to try freelance as a structural engineer and I was wondering how do you get the licences of the design software or any other software needed in the beginning as they are very often quite expensive. Did you just risk it? Thank you for the grat content

@@blabla903 models of cracked software are often not compatible with the licensed software which can be a problem slowing the work. It is clearly not worth to pay 4000 $ a year that's why I ask if in some occasions the company itself provide a license.

Hi! I am planning to join in Griffith university for master of civil engineering in this February intake. But the course is only provisionally accredited by engineers Australia. So, is it possible to become a professional engineer once after completing this course? If yes, what is the procedure? I would be pleased if you could reply. Thank you!
Hi mate. I set time blocks of intense focus. And rest or exercise in between. Keep distractions to a minimum. No sweets on junk food in the fridge. If I have cookies in the fridge, I will eat them every 15 minutes. That's why I don't have them in my house during work week. Figure out the time you're more productive and allocate the most important tasks to this time. Try not to engage in high dopamine release activities like Instagram etc. I've noticed if I do that, my brain feels bored once I have to go back to work. It's a battle of focus. I'm not perfect either. I still struggle some days. Let me know how you go. Let me know if you figure something out as well.
I use minoxidil foam twice a day. Apart from that, the only thing we can do is to eat healthy and exercise. If your hair loss is in an advanced stage, you may have to use finasteride. Have a chat with a doctor first. You can try stuff like microneedling as well. And make sure you don't stuff up your hair with hair products everyday. :) Hope that helps.

If I was starting I would probably try to use free software. Unless you area already getting complex engineering designs.

What do you think about using Surface Pro(windows) as a tablet instead of an iPad, as structural engineer?
I think it works as well. I'm used to Ipad and that's why I stick with it. I haven't used much Surface Pro so I can't really give you a feedback.
