Who should we invite next? Would you like some Live Q&A too?
Darlene Kellner is a very highly rated and safety focused instructor, and wonderful person!
@@jasonkip Definitely. Darlene is one of my favorite people.
Would love to see Kurt and Jeanie Bartholomew
@@andrewwhite8833 good one!!
Felix Baumgartner!!!!
You seriously are a game changer for the skyfam. Especially us greenhorns. This channel absolutely brings the best content for this genra in the platform.
Thanks a lot Arthur!!
Love Brian and his philosophy. Nice surprise to see him guest on here. Thanks for sharing. 😀
Hi Catherine!
I'm a B Cop with 227 jumps.
Just experienced my 1st cut away July 3rd.
Canadian skydiving is a short season, and working on a C Cop.
Hope to be in the sky July 6th for a canopy course.
Jumped with Brian Germain 10 years ago, great guy.
Keep up the good work!
Was it scary? (The cut away)
You should see if you can interview more canopy pilots as well! Curt Bartholomew would be another interesting one
Good Interview. I Took Brian's class 16 years ago at Hollister. He is a great teacher and motivational speaker.
So many questions that I have searched his channel for answered in one video.
Super glad it helped!!
Good questions lead to good answers. Thank you to all the folks who sent in their questions. If you have more that you want to ask, please send me a note through Facebook or Adventurewisdom.com
I just took his canopy course. Brian is amazing
Indeed!

Love the channel! Very informative and well put together.
Attended a canopy piloting course in Finland by Brian. He was very nice and accommodating.
Would recommend 👍
This google maps thing helped me so much!!
Thanks for posting this video! And thanks Brian!
Superb truly wisdom ! Great Coach ! 😍
Flying and landing came really natural and easy to me, I think because I grew up flying stunt kites which seemed very similar to controlling my canopy.
Brian is the man!
His videos are excellent and well worth the money.
Always enjoy, thanks
Thanks John!
This was great!! Thanks for putting this together!
Super Lee! Thanks for watching too!
Great video, guys! Thanks! 🙏🏽
Thanks for watching!
Hey! Brian did the canopy course at TSC recently. I was still working on my A license. Hoping to see one soon.
Awesome upload.
Thank you 👍
This video is gold! Thank you!

Awesome Thanks a lot!
Love the education
Super thanks Mercy!
Great content & advice. It hadn't occurred to me to use Google maps to improve accuracy 👍. Thanks Katherine & Brian. Blue Skies 🪂 ✈️
Way to go! Thanks for watching!!
I have read The canopy + pilot book and done the canopy-piloting course with Brian :)
Correction, The Parachute and its Pilot is the title. Might want to re-read it! LOL :-)
Engineering alert when you land with a great big long lever arm called a wing attached of strings and hanging on your weight with your foot the lever arm inside that joint is very tiny if you can hit with both feet at the same time you take the rotation out on those displaced ankle joints that have a longer lever arm so it's less damaging birds land with both feet at once usually.
It’s 3:30 pm here
In 40 minutes my friend!
A word to the Wise if you're an expert skydiver and you're an expert Swooper don't let somebody talk you into flying a 6m Speed Wing (paraglider) you will be surprised at the difference LOL... Great video thanks for posting...
Who should we have next on the channel? Let me know in the comments!
Just get Brian on again and again. He's worth his weight in gold.
Watching your videos make me think that a big lack in the skydiving knowledge is the exit order between different groups and disciplines.
Do you think you can maybe make a video about it? :)
Blue skies!
I'm sure she has
... homesick bowling ball 😂😂😂
On my tandum jump the instructor taught me that i needed to bend and hold my legs. He pulled the shoot and said "by the way, the winds changed, were landing on our feet"..uhh ok then lol
Last time I went skydiving I broke my leg on landing due to used, improper fitting fitting rental equipment (The leg strap slipped on a very hard pull and snapped my leg backwards, causing so much pain I couldn't use it). The drop zone near me does not have any better selections. Im at 64 jumps. I swore I would never use rented gear again. Saving for my own new full rig and having a hard time justifying buying a 210. last jump was on 210. Any advice from anyone on buying a 190? Good idea or bad idea?
I have no advice for you, but I triple-fractured and totally dislocated my right ankle on my 3rd jump (and hopped onto my feet right after “landing” to gather the canopy real quick cuz there was some wind, not knowing I had broken it, and instantly felt that it was fkd and went down to my ass when I tried to stand on it). Could see the bone dislocated above my shoe. Mannnnn it sucked for damn near a year. I can only imagine how much worse yours was 😱. Take care mate.
Great video, but I will NEVER swoop. LOL.
I just wish my dz will open soon🥺
I know, me too... Soon, very soon!
Did he said thers a video called “surviving to swooping”??
Yes, go check out on his website haha
Yup, Surviving Swooping. www.adventurewisdom.com/store/Training-Videos-c7094902
in the minute 11:12 he ( ua-cam.com/users/BSGermain ) shows a drawing that i found very interesting, he talks about glide ratio and having a rough estimate between my glide ratio and the wind against me (when facing the wind) can he elaborate on that, or even make a video so that i can do it by my own(like for example what could be my glide ratio on my sabre 2 150 etc etc)
Great video Catherine! Thank you for doing this... Brian is such a knowledgeable person! My IG is @ksquared_actual
Skydiving -the sober persons heroin
yep
I was on a DZ in the 90's and swooping was gaining popularity. Then a guy comes "swooping in" misjudged a few variables and hit hard...affectively ripping his ass cheek off....skydiving is shits and giggles enough without swooping. But go ahead...I just don't watch.
