Taramps has clip light and recently almost caught my SUV on fire. Possibly a vibration issue but still I'm buying another one of these stingers regardless that the price has gone up at this point I'm trying to support American companies
Running the 1500.1 at the moment and tested it for months on four twelves @ 1ohm in a home theater setup and it was absolutely awesome. Moved it to the vehicle and again now for a number of months has been nothing short of a great amp and great value. Wanted just a bit more power for the subs in the vehicle and thought maybe to try something different just for the heck of it but given the reasonable price these things are going for and the fact that they make this power while staying cool and composed is just another reason to simply stick with what works and avoid the temptation to buy something more "gucci" or flashy for a bit more money.
Heeeey good to see you back at it man. The day just always seems to be better when there's a JSS video in it. Thanks for the review. Seems like a really solid little amp and I'm liking the way Stinger is rating it. Take care and stay safe out there brother.
Well. Glad ya had some time off with the kiddos. Now back to regular scheduled programming lol and thanks for all the cooperation on the new 8k I received.
Welcome back, and glad you had a great time with the kiddos. I was actually looking into getting a single 12 loaded stinger for my wife's escalade reviews seem good only question i have is do i get the 700rms version or 1000 rms version the price isn't much of a difference like 20 bucks i believe.lmk what you think if one sounds better then the other since they are different subs but i believe the same enclosure.
@@Facekicker subsonic is at about 5-10, lpf is at about 50-60 and the frequency is at about 70, gain is maxed🤷♂️ at full volume I do get a little bass but not much at all, if I crank the boost knob yes it does pound like a mofo but I don’t feel I should have to use boost to get the bass out of a 2,000 watt amp, I’m running it at 2 ohms to a kicker ported 12 enclosure, 2 comp r subs wired to 2 ohms so I should be getting 1500+ watts to them, my old cerwin Vega 300 watt amp can almost keep up with this amp and it shouldn’t
Hey, is there any way you could do a dyno of the Marts Digital amplifiers? Preferably their 13.5k. But just finding out if any of their MXD models do rated would be great.
I only let it do 2 quick bursts because I thought it might go into protect, Big D let it go 5 or 6 bursts is why there's a difference. Every other result was extremely close.
Pretty decent numbers. I want to see u redo the slapz 8k with dual inputs because (Alan) claims it only does 8k if it has dual inputs hooked up to it. Even though they don't state that on their site that it's needed to produce 8k
@@Facekicker It would be interesting to see. Either way after the way he treated u and myself over the post on FB I would never run there products or recommend them

minimum 100amps. They said the fuse size in the manual. I changed my woofer recently down to 1ohm aand started to push harder and I poped the very first 60amp fuse I had intentionally installed just to see what I’m pulling on my cars stock electrical
No no, don’t put a 100, that’s a 2000 rms amp, use a 200. You see he keeps blowing his fuses. That’s cause he is using fuses that you would use on a 600 and a 1000 rms amp.
I've owned this amp around a month, and it's an absolute beast! Its pushing two Toro Audio Force 12's.
How's it holding up?
Extremely solid amp for the money. I do wish it had a clip light that would really seal the deal.

Between thus and the kicker 1800.1 ..... which one is better to push 2(8) memphis mojo truck box enclosed?
@@SS06silverado in watt per dollar the Stinger is the better value, but cost aside it's a matter of preference because they'll make similar power.
2 amp dyno videos on the same model amp great
Family First! Screw the interweb
I plan to get this amp to run 2-10 inch subs and to power 4 skar FSX65 6.5 mids and possible tweaters will this be good?
Need amp for my one Deaf Bonce Apocalypse DB-SA305 D2 15" 2000rms sub

I bought the 1000.1, and in my review, I forgot to mention the potentiometers are metal, not plastic like their website shows👍🏼
Great amp! If I didn’t pick up the Recoil amp, this would’ve been the natural choice. Fantastic power for the dollar spent. Good job, Stinger.

Damn a double dose of the Stinger this morning! Its gonna fly off the shelves now!
Good for you doing what's right for your kids! You can always get back to those teampies
can you tell what transistors in output and how many? thank you
what's the difference between certified and uncertified?
Certified mode stops the dyno at 1% clipping giving true "clean" power.
Uncertified keeps reading even if you climb into distortion or clipping.
great video, excellent new product line from an old favorite.
Thank you!
my Mt-700 is enough for me and a steal at the price.
Appreciate you for posting this video, you earned a subscription.
I love the all in one amps im gona swich to that for the winter time
I'm interested to see if you come up with the same numbers

I have the mt2000.1 no bass at all unless I crank up the bass boost??

If it puts out more than listed, its under rated...For what its worth

Would the amp complain if I wired one woofer down to 0.5ohm ?
