Hi Graham, thanks for this video. Just moved into a new house and trying to work out how to work this heating system, as the house is freezing. Can you tell us about the “Temp” setting on the bottom left? The place that you said should say “AU” says 5 degrees on ours and I can’t seem to change it 🤔
My heat pump outside is covered in ice us this normal.should the filling loop on the tank be opened or closed

I repeatedly set the DHW to ‘standard’ (2dots), but each day it will automatically rest to ‘power’ (3dots). Even lowering the target water temp to 42 degrees, it still does the same. Any ideas how to overcome this?
Got the same heating pump outside the house, I think it's might be a Gen 3, but not 100% sure. Can you please let me know what the error 911 is?

Hi. Can I change somewhere temp of the water in the installation? I wonder if current temp will be comfortable at the winter time. When radiator is heating I can fell just a bit warm(but temp in the room is raising+very good isulation)
And also, sometimes when the heating is on, temp. of. the water in the installation is 36,last time was 42.

yes you need to set it all up in the field settings there are water setting in there.

Hi, I have just moved in the new house and have the same issu as you have, temperature is set at 27 degrees but radiartors are just mild worm, however in the house its worm, just wandering in winter time will this be the same?

yes you have a newer version of the same controller, au on old controllers 0.0C on new

How do I cool down the house? It's showing 30c on thermostat. The heater has the sun symbol-is there a way to cool it?
if im honest, no its a heating device, if you have it wired and configured for cooling it can do this but you cant do this through radiators and underfloor heating
My boiler is set at 0, but where i live (in the North of Scotland) but the house is cold when the weather is very cold. How do I increase this ?
you really need to set the field setting 2021 and 2022 higher but boost the setting on the screen from0 to plus 2 uising plus button and it should help, its best to get your installer to set this up for you though.
Hi! When DHW is on system sometimes heats floor systems water through the water tank which then drops temp in the tank and then turns on DHW heating. That is not cost effective.
Why is this happening and how do I fix this?
sounds like you need someone to come and wire it up properly. best call the installer back to cehck it out

Moved into 5 year old house recently with radiator Samsung heat pump. Should the heat pump be running all the time even in the night time? Could I switch it all day and off at night?
It should run all day and night. You can set it to run at a lower temperature at night.

Do you know anything about the WiFi Controller Kit? Before I get one I'm wondering if it will control the hot water. Again, the manual on the Web is rubbish!
dont buy the wifi kit there are much better internet controllers, heatio, homely fhp cloud etc that work much better

Hope to get some advice, so some rogue builders plumbers installed my air source geothermal heating system, for hot water and heating, the outdoor unit is a Samsung ae050rxydeg, the system went live a week ago, now got tap water works fine but my radiators aren't getting hot, when I turn the temperature up on my EHP RF thermostat, the outdoor unit comes on and the heat source loop heats up but both the radiator outlet, radiator return remains cold, I suspect either the radiator have not been filled to the correct pressure bar so the system is not circulating radiator water or the pump for the radiators have not been wired in correctly, any advice is appreciated
you need to get the installer back, they have clearly not commissioned it properley
Thanks for the prompt reply, I found that some of the radiators had a lot of air and needed bleeding, having done that myself, I went to the hot water tank and saw the radiator pressure was 1.2 bar where I've read it should be 2 bars on a cold system, so I'll need to top it up but at the moment the master feed to the radiators is a little more then warm but the return is ice cold. I think it might be just setting for the weather compensation, I don't think these incompetent lot set any of that.
They'll probably just set the temperature to max so the immersion heat element is always running. You're video is really helpful.

clean the filters first then get the plumber back and get him to check the pipework, remove air and any crap in the system etc good luck

Instead of the AU, it shows temperature. Any idea why?

What do you do if the sun symbol doesn't come up after the electricity was turned off for 20 minutes. . .the tap and other symbols are there just not the sun 🤔
press the heating on off button top left the sun will reappear

how i do this through you tube is anyones guess. if you watch the training videos for midea wiring it shows how to connect the stat up
On my controller, when in heat mode, it only allows me to adjust between -5 and +5 degrees in .5 increments.
What temperature should I set this too? What does this temperature do?

always set it to 0, the temperature is controlled by the ambient temperature outside you cannot change this from the controller unless you are in the service mode
