    I’ve recently purchased one of these and it is absolutely amazing. It is stunning and yes performs as you’d expect from B&O. Bass is unbelievable. You’ve got to try it yourself to believe how it performs. Music and tv is unreal so this could just be your main source in a living room. I will however still have my Beolab 8000s for music listening.

    Now that's one heck of an English looking shop that so happens to sell B&O :p
    I am so glad that finally we can all have a clean setup as far as a soundbar goes and it doesn't need a sub and all the accompanied cabling mess, this will go well in my bedroom :D

    I want to buy this. Just a couple of questions. My room is small with no option to wall mount. So I need a stand to house it in which is proving tricky, can you confirm Beosund Stage IS 17cm in height? Secondly I have seen ULTRA FAST HDMI cable on Amazon. To get Dolby Atmos will this be a good buy giving that standard HDMI cable comes in the box? Many thanks for your help...

      Hi, please check www.stbbrackets.co.uk for stand options. You can confirm the size on B&O's website at www.bang-olufsen.com The included cable should be fine, but if you want an upgraded version, this one will be ideal: soundsheavenly.com/tv-input/55-180-premium-braided-hdmi-arc-20-cable-with-ethernet-for-4k-full-hd-and-beosound-stage.html#/4-length-3m

    Nice vdo!I’m fan of B&O sound-bar systems. I do have Denon make DP-29F turntable & would love to play collection of (stereo)records that I have & enjoy true stereo surround sound on the beosound stage..Does this B&O Beosound Stage soundbar have an Aux.input or any other input to connect my turntable?If yes,do they supply the original Aux.cables in the box to connect TT or any other music systems to this sound-bar??

    Hi Steve, I have one of these .. love it. I'm just asking you about the mini-jack output. I want to permanently connect the Besound 9000 to the mini-jack while still using it for the tv via eARC. Will I be able to do so? Or is there a hierarchy to what output is heard? - Many thanks.

    • @soundsheavenly
      @soundsheavenly  Рік тому +2

      Hi, yes that is possible! This cable will connect from one of the Powerlink outputs of the Beosound 9000 to the 3.5mm line inputs of your Stage:-
      soundsheavenly.com/televisions/158-2365-powerlink-to-beovision-14-harmony-eclipse-horizon-avant-ng-2017-on-cable-link-your-audio-system-to-your-new-tv.html#/2-length-1m
      Please set the Beosound volume to a high level (50-75%) to give you the full range of volume control from the TV remote or B&O app.
      You then just need a Speaker Sense Adapter for the Beosound (this plugs into the other Powerlink socket on the Beosound 9000 to allow it to accept commands from the B&O remote control without having B&O speakers connected):-

      Hi, Stage certainly has more and deeper bass, plus it is far more flexible and future proof than the S3. It can link directly to a TV and an audio source, plus you can stream directly to it over Bluetooth, Airplay or Chromecast, whereas S3 only has one audio input.

    Thanks for great videos!
    So if i understand it correctly… In a surround system set up, if you can set the distance to the center speaker (Stage) to 23 m, that will then compensate the built in delay? Question is can you set the distance to 23 m in any B&O Tv? I have searched the web without finding such info...

    • @soundsheavenly
      @soundsheavenly  4 роки тому +2

      Thanks! I have not yet found any B&O TV or non-B&O AV receiver that allows for a 23m speaker distance, so the short answer is that Stage is best kept as a stand-alone speaker, not for use in a surround sound system.

    • @soundsheavenly
      @soundsheavenly  4 роки тому +2

    • @soundsheavenly
      @soundsheavenly  4 роки тому +1

      Hi, if the delay only affects Sky channels (not DVD, Blu-ray or the internal TV tuner), then the issue is likely to be with Sky - there is usually a "lip-sync" option in the Sky menu to allow you to correct for this (Sky should be able to advise you how to find and adjust this option)

    Thanks for this! I have a Beosound Stage on the way and am wondering how I will connect everything even with a modest system since there are only two HDMI ports and one must go to the TV. Could I go HDMI from my Sony 4K UHD player to the Stage for Atmos then ATV 4K directly to my LG C8 and back out via ARC to the ARC HDMI port on the Stage? Since this TV does not have eARC, it will not send Atmos via this connection. Will this work? Would the ARC HDMI carry the picture from the Sony UHD player on to the LG TV even though it must also provide sound from the TV to the Stage given it’s a two way connection? Would using the optical input be a better choice? Do I simply need a mini tos-link adapter?

      Please don't worry, if your TV has an HDMI ARC socket then you only need one cable from the TV to the Stage to play sound from all of your devices. The UHD player connects to the TV as normal and the TV will send the sound to the Stage via HDMI ARC

      Andrew Gamby Samsung TV are pretty great but they lack Dolby Vision/Atmos & eARC. At least they have Airplay Support. HDR on low end Samsung 4K TVs are horrible and end up having really dark screen with brightness on max. I have an LG OLED & their software lacks a lot and they don’t support AirPlay. So each model/brand has their demand & flaws. But now OLED TVs are being more “budget friendly”.

      @@xFaithkeeperx I have my Samsung Q8FN in my upstairs family room which has a lot of windows. Downstairs I have a full theater setup with Goldenear Triton Reference towers and a Panasonic OLED. For 4k HDR content the OLED is hands down the way to go. I am glad to know that you feel like the LG has some flaws. Saves me some buyers remorse. I did want to note that I connected my Panasonic ub900 to the secondary input of the soundbar and it sounds great! Thank you all.

    Hi - I have a PlayStation plugged in direct to the HDMI in port, but I'm not getting any sound. Is there a setting that I am missing that I need to select to enable this? Thanks for the video.

    Try using blue tooth and you will see a 3 to 4 sec delay just so you know!!! So good on you for just using cables!?

      Yes, that is one of the many problems with Bluetooth! A direct cable connection will always give you the best sound quality, without the risk of sound delays or drop-outs.

    Can you tell me, has it got DTSX ?

    • @soundsheavenly
      @soundsheavenly  5 років тому

      Andy Brown Good question! B&O don’t mention DTSX in their specifications so my understanding is that the Stage doesn’t support this format. However you may wish to check with your local B&O store if this is essential for your needs

    Check the high frequency response. There is more to a speaker than bass.

    • @soundsheavenly
      @soundsheavenly  3 роки тому +1

      Absolutely! Hopefully I made it clear in the video that the midrange and treble are clean and clear. The biggest limitation of smaller speakers is always the bass response, this is the most common question that I get asked about the Stage, hence the reason for covering this aspect in more detail here. Hope this helps.

    How does this product compare to the Sennheiser Soundbar

      Hi, I haven't heard the Sennheiser Soundbar, so I would encourage you to try to find stores where you can hear both speakers on music or movies that you know well to make up your own mind. Please let me know your thoughts once you have been able to compared the B&O Stage with the Sennheiser Soundbar, I will be interested to hear what you think.

      jan vandy sennheiser is more powerful and the Bass reaches deeper(30 hz).
      But I love the look of the b&o and in vocals and highs there are no big difference.
      And the Bass from the b&o is also very impressive and I think in future we don’t need any subwoofer in a normal living room to have nice decent Bass.
