Thanks for the informative video. Couple questions. 1) If wall mounting, I'm assuming we need an electrician to install an electrical outlet near the center of the unit? In that case, do we need to remove the rear cover to allow the the power cable to plug into the outlet? 2) I noticed you setup with Google. Is that a required step or can you setup with AppleID instead?
Hi there, The Stage comes with a template for mounting to the wall. If you do not have available power then yes you will need an electrician to install an outlet. Follow the template for the appropriate position. You will need to initially setup with Google but can disable the features once done.
Hi there, within the setup of the Stage you can specify how you have it (ie Wall Mounted or placed on a table.) which optimizes the sound for each setting so there should be no difference.
Hi Ray, a simple question but quite a complex answer. There are many different factors at play, if you located in Melbourne please come into the store and we can discuss your circumstances and requirements to arrive at a recommendation.
Hi there, you can restore your Beosound Stage to factory settings by holding the settings button found on the back of the speaker, behind the frame. Hold the button until the status indicator flashes red. Your Beosound Stage will begin the reset process and after approximately one minute. Once reset, your Beosound Stage is ready for the first-time setup again.
Can I plug this to a buttkicker silent subwoofer!? I would need a line out to a infra red output which sends signals to the amp which then in turn connects to the shaker. You can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/gc0EYIIcY5c/v-deo.html

How does the sound compare to that of a Beosound 2? Or a balance?
Hi Daniel, Thank you for your question. They do sound quite similar for music, but if you are wanting sound from a TV, the Stage is the best choice.
I like it, but I am wary of all in one soundbars.
How different is the sound if I place the speaker on a table from being mounted on a wall?

How does Beolab 50 compare to the 800d3

Hi there, the Stage does not have a line out so it would not be able to connect.
