I'm most concerned about subclass options. I'm not a fan of the binary trees since it removes a lot of customization. A skill tree like borderlands would allow for choice still, but also provide enough limitations to make balancing easier.
Chris C I like more options too. but bungie had a hard time balancing destiny 1 with not that many options in subclasses, how are they suppose to more easily balance MORE options? personaly I've never seen a properly balanced game, there is always the stronger classes or abilities. borderlands is a huge example, not even close to balanced but hey there is no pvp so no one noticed.
Chris C yeah there seems to be a trend towards over simplifying game mechanics lately. if they decide to keep that hopefully they will add a lot more Exotics that Grant passive perks to make up for it.
Final Cam I agree with you but a game like warframe with 32 different characters with 4 separate abilities each and every warframe is balanced in the PVP version. It's possible I just think bungie is super inexperienced or there just bad developers, I'd like to believe their just inexperienced.
Not an excuse. Many other games managed to have a lot more parity than destiny did. Just because bungie is inept, doesn't mean you excuse them for further limiting an already limited game.
Destiny 1 "Wow Bungie should stop teasing us with these expansions and just release Destiny 2" Destiny 2 "Wow this looks just like Destiny 1 this should just be an expansion"
When people expressed a desire for Destiny 2, it was out of the assumption that it would be a new experience. Similar, yes. Derivative even. But still "new." Destiny 2 isn't a new game so much as it is what Bungie wishes they had made three years ago. It's going to be a much better product overall because of what they have learned from Destiny's mistakes, but it's not different enough from Destiny for people who played the original extensively to feel like it is a fresh experience. Watch and see, Destiny veterans are going to burn out on Destiny 2 incredibly quickly.
I don't like the small subclasses either. My hopes for destiny 2 were that there would be more real open world aspects and a bigger skill tree. I am happy with the exploring but subclass limitations suck.
Nate Clink I agree heavily. I was stoked for destiny 2 to be more mmo-ish. I liked the subclass system in destiny 1 but the whole "we're all nightstalker hunters with black hole and invis smoke annoyed the shit out of me. I wanted a more in depth tree where I could try a variety of different builds but now the gripe I had is just worse
To expand on both of these comments, I had even further hopes (not expectations) than I realistically ever should have had. I even hoped for as much depth as having multiple supers per subclass. Destiny 1 has 9 supers, which is OK as far as the powerful abilities in mmos go, but it's really not much especially considering there are only 3 of those abilities per subclass. This may or may not be an unfair comparison, but take Elder Scrolls Online for example. There are usually 3 (and sometimes 1) ultimate abilities for each skill line. I don't even now how much that actually is. Each class itself has 9, 3 for each of their main skill lines. There are 4 classes. That's 36 right there and idk if that's even half of them. Tell me if my math is wrong. I am at least glad they added the new ability slot with b or circle. As for exotics filling in the gaps, I have never been a fan of that. I love destiny, but even in destiny 1 I feel like my character doesn't know how to do anything. His armour is the only way he will be able to have the best perks. That's not a bad thing but I feel like there is so much emphasis on the loot in destiny and hardly any (if any) at all on the character. I honestly prefer the system in borderlands. Yes, people are always talking about the loot, but I just loved how fun it was to flesh out myself with every single level to make myself more what I wanted to be. I literally couldn't care less about the loot in that game. Leveling up is too fun. But in destiny, you stop leveling up and then you just get better clothes. I don't feel attached to that system.
Not to say that I will not like destiny 2. I am very excited about it and I will gladly play it even if it does focus more on my loot than my character. Side note: If I could add anything else to destiny 2, one would be a lore friendly pvp zone (something similar to the crucible, IDK it would be fun. I know it doesn't make much sense but I feel like bungie could come up with an excuse for it lol). I would also have dueling. It would make more sense to the lore than a pvp zone. 2 guardians decide to wager in a friendly duel to the death because they know they can revive each other. It is discouraged by Zavala but encouraged by Cayde. Shaxx refused to comment.
the duel sounds nice. maybe add betting to it( items or currency). i hate to say that's too ambitious for bungie. they can't even make a proper skill tree so i would carry my hopes to another developers if i were u lol.
I think people wanted a revolutionary new look and gunplay system. Like in, say, Halo 5. Oh wait. The gameplay and gunplay in Halo 5 is garbage; almost a day to night difference when compared to classic Halos. Thus, sometimes needless change in a sequel for the sake of needless change in a sequel is not always a good thing.
+RAF1172 Garbage gameplay and gunplay in halo 5? you haven't played it yet then. Most balanced it has been in years. REACH has shitty gunplay and gameplay. Halo 5 is equivalent in skill and balance as Halo 2 and Halo 3, don't kid yourself, kid.
It looks the same because of the enemies. UI and gunplay were fantastic. I wouldn't ask for that to change. My issue is that I fought the Vex, Cabal, Hive, and Fallen so much in Destiny 1. They don't look all that different to me in Destiny 2. I haven't played yet but what I see worries me. I want Destiny 2 to feel different from Destiny 1. Shooting the same enemies really isnt all that interesting.
One of the most popular theories I've seen going around is that Bungie deliberately wanted the reveal of Destiny 2 to address a lot of the major criticisms that Destiny 1 got upon release, the lack of story being the most prominent one. That's only speculation, but to me it makes some sense. I'm choosing a wait and see approach until we start seeing some of the new additions before I judge whether I think the game will be a disappointment or not. I'm especially curious to see the Treasure Hunts and changes to Patrols, as that sounds like one of the better additions that could be coming. As for the Raid, I doubt they'll speak much about it beyond confirmation that it exists, as the exact content of the Raid could include spoilers. Of what we've seen so far, the thing that most concerns me is the inability to select individual perks when it comes to subclasses. A few people have pointed out that many perks in D1 were rarely (if ever) picked, and so placing them all in one big package ensures that all perks see some usage. I would argue that if a perk is being under-utilized, then that's an indication that the individual perk needs some retooling. Don't force players to buy into perks they don't like or want just to ensure that all of them get used, that's just lazy.
Great breakdown. Thanks for sharing your insights and commentary. Thank you!! I've got the same gut feeling. I'm worried they may give everyone a great overall experience and then that's it. Maybe we'll get enough content drops to keep things moving though, I hope so!
Datto, you can't say "It sucks because titan now has a perk block all about melees, which aren't viable for late game", Then say "In destiny 2, you can't play the punch-everything titan". You literally just told me I could...
my answer to problem nr 4: do not remove the subclass blocks since they help new players with what perks they should use, but instead the should make it so you can create one custom block which you can choose the perks that you like
They're reskins, dawn blade is hammer of Sol with a sword, the hunter class is blade dancer with a spear. The titan is a mobile bubble. Slight differences but seriously, alot of the same shit. If you're happy with that, fine. But don't tell me they're not reskins of the same classes.
Bungie should cater for both new and old fans, if you think it should just cater for old ones then just look at borderlands. Borderlands 2 was pushed massively and was aimed at everyone. Borderlands TPS was aimed at people who had played 1 and 2 and therefore did considerably worse. Sure, there were other factors but it still played a part
imawhale TPS did not fail due to this. TPS was a shit show at launch only because of farming issues and outsourcing. After all of its changes and DLC, its a fine game. Sadly, it has nowhere near as much content as 2 simply because 2 had practically 2 seasons of DLC. (Headhunter packs being the second) I still actively play TPS and have done so since launch. Bahroo outlines its issues rather well.
imawhale Lol that's not even close bud. It was just a bunch of throw backs to some of the well known legendaries, that's about all the veterans got. And like the other guy said, there was a whole plethora of problems with the game. The boss loot was shit, half of them weren't even farmable (With specific drops too), the characters got dumbed down to: _"Hey! everybody liked tiny Tina right? Let's just make the good guys as illiterate and CrAaAazY. While the bad guys are random idiots that could be any other psycho. It'll be funny right?"_ Not to mention there where only 2 raid bosses, the new legendaries where lame (and just woefully bad), and HOLY SHIT the quests we're unbelievably long and unrewarding, *AND* how there was no reason for them, as you can get uniques from drops or the gun grinder anyway. All in all there was just a whole lack of content too. Now the DLC, that was some prime grade A content there. Pretty much fixed everything _and then_ some. Unfourtinetly, the game had already flopped and in turn, t'was only DLC there was. The rest is where we are now, basically. TL;DR You're pretty far off.
My biggest gripe about TPS was the god awful voice acting. Barely made it through NVHM just to get the story. After I turned that off, it was a much more enjoyable experience.
I mean, TPS didn't do as well financially primarily because it was clearly a stopgap game, produced by a B team(hence the Australian accents). This is like trying to compare AC:2's performance to AC: Brotherhood. OF COURSE it's not going to be as well-received or rake in the dough as much. I personally adored TPS, as someone who played it in the Handsome Collection, but that doesn't mean it didn't have faults and major limitations because of it's status as a stopgap game(namely, repetitive environments).
Shehab Omran because Xbox is on par with PS4, and if ps exclusives are still around, then PS already has the advantage. PC is superior to both platforms, so Sony most likely used their relationship with bungie to get as many PS4 sales as they can before the PC launch
eh it could be that or it could just be the usual reason that games get a delayed release on PC. the devevelopers require more time to ensure everything is running fine and there are no major bugs. The last notable developer I can think of that delayed the release of its game to PC was Rockstar with GTA 5.
I wanted 9 new subclasses. I wanted deeper strategic gameplay encounters. I wanted no more stupid light level gating activities. I wanted Destiny 2 to feel different enough from Destiny 1 to justify another 1000 hours.
dhalldrake same and personally I'm not angry at people who say it feels or looks to samey. there needs to be a ton of new things that justify a sequel and not an expansion, not reskins and literal combination supers (Dawnblade). I'm still hopeful and I do like some of the stuff shown. but my biggest worry is still what Datto talked about "end game" and I'm still skeptical about the 4 planet thing...
The boss in this strike has a unique mechanic. Therefore probably all bosses will have their own mechanics. Don't say you want things before even playing the game or seeing the whole game.
DestinyDragonGod Did you not watch this video? So many sequels look just like their prequels, a TON of them. Just because they look similar does not mean it can't be an expansion.
PurpleTrident my argument doesn't relate to the astetics as much as the overall strides bring taken (risk, new features, possible redux's on modes and styles of play). Yes I watched the whole video. My point isn't that the game looks sameing on a surface level, thats obvious I'm talking about from a mechanical and feature level. When we get a tour if the way patrols and adventures and how they will work. that is an exanple of where the game can show why this is a new way to play and not a tweak with a different name.
my problem with D2 is that i have to play another 3 years with OLD supers(subclasses) 1 new subclass is not enough... i mean its not even 1 new subclass its 1 new SUPER grenade and other stuff is like in D1 and these new supers are not even that cool...
I think you gave a good and balanced position on what you saw and experienced. I also think that Bungie has multiple styles of things going as far as subclasses and everything. I think they will probably stay close to the design, but that what they put into the event was a very controlled system that was made to show off specific things like the new and updated subclasses. My hope is that by the end of Destiny 2's life, we will have six total subclasses for each class and depending on things like grenade options, you could have five or six total options for each elemental choice. So dawnblade/sunsinger would have 5 different grenades and you would be able to use any of those five with a solar subclass. I think I am comfortable with being more excited than concerned with Destiny 2. I think they are gaining more understanding all the time of what they will and won't tweak with the game. Not touching the gameplay mechanics too much, but maybe cleaning up things like jumping sideways or backwards off of little bumps in the ground or jumping down a short flight of stairs and dying. My biggest concern is in PVP in that 4s is in that gray area where I don't know that my specific play style will be as viable. If you watch any of my videos on here, I am not as aggressive as most players. I focus on support, pushing people out of cover with grenades and so on and getting more assists than anything else. It doesn't mean that I am not someone to fear, but I won't chase someone just because they are low health or I won't stay in a one on one if I am getting brained. My play style is to make you think twice about what you are doing. I tend to run pulse or AR (I have started getting back into scouts too) but I run a sidearm because I am sniper retarded. My point is that while I love the idea of running a pulse or scout and AR or sub, I don't know that someone being a support player really will fit with the 4s format. I get the feeling that countdown will be a problem unless I am on a solid team. Like I said though, good video and input and hopefully Bungie is listening to you guys now and in the closed beta and then the open beta to the rest of us. Man, I hope I can do the closed beta again.
It would be so discouraging to be a game dev in this generation. It seems like only the negativity filters to the top nowadays. It would be difficult to be proud of your work. I for one, am still stoked as fuck for Destiny 2.
I've gotten a lot of play time out of this game, it could be in the hundreds of hours. Regardless of how disappointed I am at some mechanics, or balance issues --- It was worth the money to me. Games like this usually need a PPM model to support the upkeep of their world servers to begin with. We are lucky we only have cosmetics and emote microtransactions. If they really wanted to rip us off, they'd sell us character slots, name changes, xp boost potions, exotic shards, weapon and armor parts, and upgrade materials through silver alone.
Stop giving them ideas, Element7. We already have horrible, unconscionable gambling loot boxes (that alone makes me want to divorce myself from this game), and I'm sure Activision would throw any other sleazy idea at us if they thought it would work and let them get their fingers farther into our wallets.
I, for one, agree with you. Because the negative opinions are almost always the most vocal and popular, it can be very hard to feel you aren't worthless. The end-product's quality in the eyes of the gamer has nothing to do with how much hard work developers put into creating it, how much soul-crushing effort and mentally and physically exhausting hours put into just making things work, let alone shine. People can criticize the actual product itself all they want. But nobody should ever criticize the developers for not doing their damnedest, because the burden of proof is on the consumer to prove that effort wasn't put into what they bought.
Datto, people didn't play Uncharted for three years before Uncharted 2. I love Destiny and have played it for well over two thousand hours, but all that time means that I am really burned out and was looking forward to a different experience. The Traveler being seized by the Cabal was the perfect excuse to completely redesign our powers as guardians. Instead, almost everything about our powers is staying the same aside from a few supers getting adjusted, with only the void Captain America truly being something new (Dawnblade is a much cooler looking Sunbreaker with swords instead of hammers). The powers being mostly the same, the strikes being the same, Nightfalls being the same, and PvP getting more sweaty (I play it to have fun) are all things that make me really sad about Destiny 2. I'm one of those people who have been calling it Destiny 1.5 because I believe this is the game Bungie wishes it had made three years ago, and I believe it's going to be a great video game for people who either haven't played Destiny or understandably quit on it before the first expansion. But Destiny 2 wasn't made for me or the other Destiny addicts, which feels bad. I understand it from a business standpoint, I'm just disappointed. And as of right now I'm planning on not getting the game, at least not on release, and after that not unless I end up getting a PC capable of running it.
Maybelline I feel the exact same. Maybe the gameplay and Layout are fantastic in D1 but there look got boring as hell. I only wish for a new look and design, is that to much to ask for?
Maybelline I'm glad they made PvP more competitive. I'm a competitive player and the casualness of Destiny and it's community has driven me away after 2k hours.
Sol: I get that, but I personally don't like Destiny 2 becoming more like Overwatch because people who want that style can go play Overwatch instead of Destiny. I do not understand forcing everyone into a standardized 4v4 format because there are tons of people who just want to have fun in the chaotic environment of 6v6. I don't like that Destiny 2's primaries are going to be weaker, that the shields are going to be stronger, and that the ammo for fusion rifles/shotguns/snipers is going to be even more rare than it currently is (PvE players are going to raaaaaaage about this change once they finally experience it). I enjoy Destiny's PvP style, although I would enjoy it much more if they gave you 2 shots of special on every respawn and took tracking off of sticky grenades.
This guy gets it. I quit once Rise Of Iron was announced; activision had nickel and dimed me enough at that point. Re-installed it a couple of days ago (still no ROI) and while the gunplay and all is glorious, even after a long break, im fatigued. I've used all these guns and supers and classes for like 1000 hours. New missions or whatever isn't going to make me want to continue to use shit im already bored with. We need new things. And the fact that we're saying that before the game has even release is a major red flag.I can forgive them not introducing new classes. I cant forgive the lack of subclasses or them dumbing down the customization. There should be 5 or 6 ways to build your dawnblade, all viable, not "take one of these two kits and shut up. Go grind for gear for 1k hours". No. Give us new toys. We're bored of 3 years of this shit.
I think you are right on point. I played some Destiny 1, and even with Taken King it just wasn't compelling and felt hollow for someone who doesn't like raids or PvP. I'm now glad that I didn't get super into it or spend much more than 40 hours on it, because it probably would have ruined Destiny 2. I'm actively avoiding Destiny at this point so that Destiny 2 will feel fresh. You've got a pretty major problem when someone who by a lot of standards has barely played the first game feels like the second is still too similar to stand on it's own.
Probably won't be destiny 2 til 2020 kinda like how destiny been out since 2014 yet right when age of triumph came out is when it felt like the full destiny game. hmm
Just 1 raid is a HUGE disappointment for a large proportion of the playerbase. Im sure we all remember the launch game and the lack of endgame content at the time. I get the feeling Bungie/Activision are going to do the exact same to us this year and break up the game into tiny chunks just like D1. I have no confidence whatsoever that the release day game will be much better than D1, sure better story missions and slightly more stuff to do on patrol, but endgame PvE is gonna be chopped up into bitesize mouthfuls again. Also delayed PC launch is a huge issue for me as i transferred to PC after Taken King and havent played D1 since. If it is more than a week behind that will destroy the serious PC playerbase.
Thank you Datto I've been saying basically what you've been saying since the game was revealed. The term if it aint broke don't fix it has been my main quote this whole time, cause some of my clanmates have been saying the same thing about how destiny should've been destiny 1.5 or an expansion. I'm glad you put this video out and clarified what some people have been saying about Destiny 2. Not on the "bungwagon" but definitely am hopeful about this game and the changes they've made for Destiny 2.
is it worth to try and create and upload content? destiny or other games. i dont have the best means of production (shitty recording device, shitty computer) is it worth it to actually attempt to produce something? should i wait until my new pc is done? asking you because you are a content creator i enjoy and i could use your input.
AS far as the simplified sub classes go, my hope is that they are transferring the build choices to armor. Something like armor perks affecting your subclass.
Very disappointed we have the same characters (Titan/hunter/warlock) without new ones, no new burns, no new enemy types, can't fly ships, dummed down subclasses, stuff like that. Still have hope, but they did not bring much that was new as far as I've seen
You said it well here though. They "fixed" destiny 1 with destiny 2, they didn't create new things or take risks, which IMO, doesn't make it a new game, just a huge patch with dlc
Correct opinion guy in fine with the titan/hunter/ warlock expected that to stay the same and the subclass I expected atleast 1 or 2 but nope instead they just revamped the ones we already had and oh yeah no flying ships disappointed
As a person who talked about the UI negatively, this was a great way to bring it up. I didn't think about it like that for some reason. So yeah, my opinions changed today~
Every single FPS multiplayer game on current gen consoles is 60fps. There is no excuse to not have 60fps at least for PvP. There are other first person games like Killzone that have single player run at 30fps and multiplayer at 60fps. And for a 4v4 multiplayer it should be extremely easy to get to 60fps. And second there is also no excuse for lack of dedicated servers. There are games that make far less money than Destiny and have dedicated servers. That is simply them being cheap and screwing over their player base.
Not every single Kragthor FPS on current gen is 60fps. 60fps is not even the standard for current gen. 30fps is what the majority of games run. You clearly know nothing about how development works, so please, don't be so negative and whine about something you have no idea what you're talking about. Only makes you look silly.
PurpleTrident I know exactly what I'm talking about and name one FPS multiplayer game that does not run at 60fps on current gen consoles. And if BF1 can run 60fps while having massive maps, 64 players, and multiple vehicles then there is obviously no excuse for a small map 4v4 multiplayer game to not have 60fps.
Kragthor The game is more than just multiplayer and the game isn't like other games as it is online based all thevtime, and plus console hardware can only handle so much. Destiny more complex than most shooters. It isn't load up a level and play. Plus if you have been playing on console and not pc, then this should not be a big suprise. If you want 60 fps then get pc, if not then your stuck with 30 fps on console, or nothing. It's not a matter of they don't want to its a matter of they simply cant. They implemented 60 fps on pc because it could handle but 30 fps on console because it could not.
+Matthew Wrench EVERY single FPS multiplayer game is 60fps on current gen consoles. In fact there are more 60fps games on the PS4 then there are 30fps. And if you don't believe me just Google it, There is a list that you can look at and see for yourself. And what does it being always online have to do with anything? So once again there is absolutely zero excuse to not have 60fps on a 4v4 multiplayer game. When you have games like BF1 or battlefront that not only have better graphics but have far more players and much larger maps running 60fps then you can't tell me that a 4v4 small map multiplayer game can't do it. That makes no sense. And as I stated above they could have separate frame rates for single and multiplayer, several games have done it before. And it should have been an obvious thing to do when Destiny 1 is the only game running 30fps in multiplayer and the fact millions of people have been asking for 60fps. But bungie showed they don't give a damn what the players want by the fact it is 30fps and the fact there are no dedicated servers which is something else that most FPS multiplayer games have now days.
Matthew Wrench but a big reason they don't have 60fps on consoles is because they didn't pay for dedicated servers (also dynamic resolution scaling). But if they had paid for dedicated servers it helps tremendously in providing a 60fps experience
Fernando Lima I was not enlightened back then, I was a ds3 noob. But I heard of the tales of the late and great Solaire and choose to praise the sun in his honor with my fellow sun bros.
If someone ever says, "Ugh it look exactly the same," I just ask them a simple question: "How?" Because then they say, "It's the same gameplay and same UI." So, like, the two absolute best parts of Destiny 1? And you wouldn't want more of this becaaaauuuuussseee???
Daniel King "Uuh, because Destiny itself is shit" When was the last time you played it, and for how long? "I last played on day 1 and only completed the story"
+Muu Too lol pretty much every single piece of blind Destiny hate can be shut down by a simple question like that. "omg Raids need matchmaking, Bungie is so stupid" "Have you ever touched a Destiny raid?" "No but I just know that people need options, maaannn"
Daniel King the problem with the gun play is the mission design. It's kinda like a driving game, you can accelerate, decelerate, turn, but what's make a racing game good is the other cars who can knock you off, sharp turns at high speeds, drifting, speed wobbles, jumps, shifting, weather conditions, tire pressure, gasoline, and damage to the car. The gameplay was amazing in destiny, still is. The problem is the mission design. Scan, shoot hordes of enemies in three waves, again and again.
Rdomb14 The Scorpio focuses on increasing the GPU much more than the CPU these updated consoles are suposed to give you the same game at a better resolution not a better frame rate Even if the Scorpio is capable of getting 60 FPS it will still be 30 because it would run on the Xbox One servers and you can't give an advantage to Scorpio players over Xbox One players
PC players constantly deal with different rigs of different power, yet it's where competitive gaming lives. Terrible excuse. Do you just believe anything bungie says? That's not how development works. GPU's have their own frame buffers and RAM. Any developers making frame rate entirely reliant on the cpu is garbage at their job and should have their degree's invalidated. Same game at better resolution, not a better framer rate? Tell that to battlefield 1, final fantasy xv, tomb raider, and any other game that has a "boost" option that increases frame rate.
Doesn't matter about rigs with different hardware in the PC, even a budget build of about $600 can run most games at 60 fps at 1080. Destiny is very physics heavy, which runs entirely off the CPU, and the CPU in scorpio and ps4 pro are weak as hell (I'm a console player not PC) and just cant hold a stable 60 for a game like destiny with its shit engine. I do believe they could have implemented dynamic resolution scaling (like BF1) but that still wouldn't have helped day 1 ps4 and xbox 1, they just aren't powerful enough. Also I think people who constantly use BF1 and other "60fps" console games would be very surprised to see how that actually holds up in a game. Bf1 constantly dips below 60 even on the pro whilst also dropping resolution to 900p. I'm not making excuses for bungie, they could optimise their engine better, they could have dedicated servers to offload computing to the cloud. but they didn't and that's shit. But you also need to blame sony and microsoft, they have put 4 year old AMD crappy chips that barely push past 2.3ghz. You can buy an intel g4560 for 70 dollars that runs at 3.5ghz and can run most modern games at 1080 60fps at medium to high settings even with a sub-standarded gpu like an rx 470
Honestly all I wanted was a more refinement and more stuff to do in Destiny 2. I didn't want them to reinvent the wheel but have that wheel run more efficiently.
Star Wars Battlefront, gorgeous visuals and particle effects, WAY above Destiny 2 with 20 v 20 multiplayer battle with vehicles- smooth 60 fps, came out November 27, 2015 Halo 5 Warzone, a multiplayer game mode with 12 v 12 battles, multiple vehicles, and Team based AI+ enemy AI with bosses- solid 60 fps ON XBOX ONE, came out October 27, 2015 Overwatch, 6v6 multiplayer game with a EXTREME amount of particle effects, bullets, rockets and other crazy shit going off- 60 fps, came out last year Titanfall 2, 6v6 multiplayer game with the most fucking shit possible going on with Mech vehicles, multiple AI grunts and running on the fucking source engine- 60 fps came out October 28, 2016 Battlefield 1, 32 v 32 multiplayer game with vehicles, destructible environments, MUCH BETTER LOOKING THAN DESTINY 2- 45 fps, came out October 21, 2016 Destiny fucking 2, looks slightly more better then it's predecessor which was apparently "held back" by the PS3 and Xbox One, has slightly more particle effects, 4v4 multiplayer mode- 30 fps, still hasn't come out. Stop defending Bungie.
Regarding 30 fps on consoles: There's a very important point and reasoing behind it, that most people seem to miss. Sadly it's missing from this video as well. Even if PS4 Pro and/or XBOX One Scorpio would/will be able to run the game in 60 fps, the developers would probably choose not to enable it, because PS4 and XBOX One definitely can't. In a first person online multiplayer shooter having 60 fps is a clear advantage over someone playing only at 30. Since your decision making is based a lot on subcounscious impressions, having twice as much visual feedback (and more importantly, having it faster than your opponnent) might give you the necessary edge to win a fight. You end up in a situation where splitting the playerbase would be a terrible decision, but giving the players with better hardware (= more money) an advantage would still be a very bad idea as well. So sadly this is the only way to go. Having a higher resolution doesn't matter that much, because 1080p is 'sharp enough' to see everything clear. 4k resolution would only give you an advantage if the gameplay is about using sniper rifles on very large distances, where higher pixel density could matter. On PC it doesn't matter that much, because everybody can potentially run the game in 60 fps (or even uncaped), because it's possible to lower the graphics, particles and so on - and everyone is used to having different hardware.
just a quick clarification if anyone sees this that the reason they aren't doing dedicated server is because it's expensive AND they would have to do it for three separate platoforms. dedicated server are much more feasible for exclusive titles. the thing we should be pushing for should be (and this is extremely unlikely but I can dream) to allow destiny to share server's between PS4/XBOX/PC because then our player bases would expand and they could invest in dedicated servers.
Why is everyone forgiving the class recycling and lack of technical enhancements? For Honor had a great current gen launch with 30fps and P2P right? Every decision with D2 went way too far to the casual side - from what's been shown so far.
Because you mentioned it... Orb force barrier is what I would use for my team to 2 sword Crota when that was released. Although it is a silly example, i cant fine tune my build for those very specific situations and ideas.
Shud have dedicated servers, P2P after the amount of money the game has made them seems cheap as fuck. wud have liked a new class and preferred dynamic resolution with 60fps, if battlefield can do it with much bigger maps why can't bungie... 4v4 crucible is gonna get old real quick
BF1 is doing it, CSGO is doing it, any game with a PVP worth a damn is doing it and i'm disappointed that such a promising game as D2 is being let down by P2P, since we been begging them for this since Y1. just take a look at for honor it's 3 months old and it's dead already.
The KingOfTheRageQuitters activision are insanely rich, but there also the greediest publishers in gaming. EA have been doing dedicated servers for years, and even games with way lower budgets than destiny have dedicated servers. It all boils down to activision don't wanna pay for it
Csgo is on pc and very very very easy to run... Don't bring up csgo when talking about a console game lmao. Also, for honor is boring, that's why it died
Austin Daniels I been saying this 😒 nobody never complained about destiny 1 being 30fps but since pc is joining the destiny community with 60fps (or more) it's a problem 🤷🏾♂️ I personally don't mind 30fps
I feel the same. Maybe its just because I've played exclusively console my whole life, but idgaf about 60 fps lol. The people who do can have a great time playing it on pc
Austin Daniels if you don't mind FPS your likely a casual. it has lots to do with hit registration which was an issue in destiny 1. I don't understand still how Halo 5 can run 60 with bigger areas and more going on although it was released around 18 months ago and on XBOX ONE.
This far i've seen no youtuber mentioning that we get the same archetypes of old guns with the same freaking reload!!! I mean i get the archtype but the same reload animation 4 years in a row is boring as hell
Astrological X no thats just stupid but I don't see games like battlefield and CoD using the same reload animation for every single gun in there respective class. It gets boring looking at the same one for 3 years now and continuing in D2
Mr_Potatothrower I don't know about Battlefield (never played them) but Call of Duty has three different developers (Infinity Ward, Treyarch, and Sledgehammer. Destiny only has Bungie. Secondly, they're just animations. Complain after like the fifth Destiny. This is the first sequel and we're getting complaints about a few recycled animations? It didn't bug me in Assassin's Creed until after playing every single title.
Johnren while CoD indeed has 3 developers they also have multiple years to develop their game (same as bungie) when a CoD comes out the next one is far in development. Also you're saying that you're willing to look at the same animations for the next 12 years (d2-d5 .+- 3 years per game). Also i don't complain about recycled animations but the fact they haven't added new ones to existing archetypes. Not every assault rifle or pulse rifle, hand cannon, scout etc should have the same reload animation. Its just plane boring.
i hate when youtubers like this!! Just say the craziest things to cover up Bungies Mistekes!! Come on Datto!! I Think You Are Better than This!!! Who Tha Fuck Thinks That Bungie Didn't Gave Content to Us Because They Thought We Are Not Gonna Play Them?!?! Really?!?
We Are Cancer i like how the first part of your comment looked like this for a moment. Then The Rest Of Your Comment Looked Like This Garbage. How Did You Actively Hit The Shift Key (Or The Arrow On Mobile) And Not Realise What You're Doing? What The Fuck?
You heard it from me first!! The Speaker disappears and he has linked up with Osiris. Yes I know Osiris and the speaker went separate ways because of their views but with the collapse the speaker needs someone who can hide him and trust him. Some one has to link up with the dlc that follows up in December/January.
I was struck by a thought seeing you use the titan shield while peaking over it... will the guerrilla fighter perk not be completely useless on this class??!
I think a good, easy way to expand the End-Game would be to just copy WoW's Mythic level system, the Nightfall could drop a modifier key, which you can use to start a timed, bumped difficulty variant of the strike (More HP, more damage, modifiers etc) that if you do it in certain time-frames you get better loot (3 drops for 10 mins, 2 for 13, 1 for 15 or under) But if you fail you still get standard drops and a slightly easier key for a strike, if you pass, the difficulty increases further, but so do the rewards. This (IMO) would give the 1% something to push for, while the casual crowd can still enjoy the lower tiers of these modified strikes. Also it means Bungie don't need to add too much more to the game, other than a difficulty curve and an ample amount of modifiers. I'd see this as a win-win.
I guess my concerns are not really about the similar UI and gameplay, i have no issues with that remaining the same. What I'm hoping for is a significantly more flushed out leveling and questing experience. Many more side quests, and storylines to follow, that take you to many parts of the universe. I like all of the improvements they have discussed, but for myself personally, i just want a deeper experience in terms of storyline/quest/mission content
I'm assuming the reason it will be delayed on the PC is to make the 6p fps experience on there which would take a bit considering they would also be focusing on DLC too
Do you think that there will be console exclusive weapons and armor like there was in Destiny 1? Because this might affect the decision between console and PC.
I'm sorry I'm a bit confused (sorry if I offend anyone) but I don't get the hype for 60 fps over 30 fps does it really change the game that much like will having 30 less fps really make u not want to buy the game ? The game looks amazing in 4K I really don't understand
The fact that Activision put added pressure on Bungie ahead of release due to the clause that would have seen the former take over a controlling stake of the latter was probably a large factor in why the game may not be what some of us thought it was going to be... That's not to say D2 will be anything bad, but it is a bit of a worry.
A very mature and objective analysis (so far), well done! :) However if they invest in servers for consoles we would have also 60fps as in other FPS like Overwaych, Halo 5, etc.. (with a technique allowing the CPUs to manage it, because they have servers to help with the rest. Not an expert but I saw a video on it). I am really hoping that at some point they will find an agreement with someone for the servers (like they did with Blizzard for PC) because a game with the graphics of Destiny 2 just deserves it!
I share the same sentiments towards the subclass builds. But I'm hopeful of new subclass builds as you are, but also hopeful that the new exotic armor will be able to create far more dynamic "builds" to go with those branching paths as opposed to just granting a free perk or enhancing a single perk. Because they can balance test just around the attuned path instead of every single perk in the game and how it would interact with the exotic perk. That's my hope anyway.
Do we think that end game content is going to put more of an emphasis on Light level? I know for Destiny 1 390 light is like 400 its just a number when you are that high. Differences really only matter when the gap is closer to 20 light levels. I'd be curious to see if that light level really feels "overpowered" when you are a high light then an activity requires like Boarderlands or something. I'd love that in the game.
Datto, the good thing is that with the new game engine they have for D2, they said they can add a lot more content faster than D1. that gives hope for "the end game" as you said. As for me, im am liking what has been shown so far. dont play PvP in this game, but i can see why the hardcore PvP'ers are upset, but as for PvE? im liking what im seeing.
I think the skill trees are fine, but I wish they added an "advanced specs" option where you make all of the decisions yourself. So there's a guided way for new and casual players, and and intense more detailed way for more veteran players
Valid concerns. There are still lots of unknowns in this game and plenty of stuff to still reveal. I tend to agree with you on end game concern, but maybe they will unveil a major change which address that. Just got to wait and see I guess.
Instead of the subclass blocks, they should have an option/button to choose all the perks in a block, or be able to freely customize like before, so that both the casual gamer and the hardcore gamer are satisfied.
can someone please explain to me what dedicated servers are and what that means for a game like destiny? I've been hearing that phrase all over the place and it'd be great to finally understand it. thank you!
Datto, in talking about melee only like the Striker, do you think Arcstrider is going to be relegated to the same annoying melee only that Bladedancer was? Because... I stopped playing that subclass completely when I got my Celestial Nighthawk Year One... and Destiny got really boring really fast with only two subclass to replay it with. Especially watching Titans and Warlocks have three awesome subclasses. So... basically I'm nervous about Arcstrider. Thoughts?
Wow great video. I would say the only part disappointing to me personally is if there is a lack of customizations for subclasses. I can only hope this is a result of the nature of the reveal. I can understand the thinking but hopefully they offer an option like Diablo 3 did that makes it possible for more advanced players to enable min-maxing of subclass abilities. I think the major take-away is that if you enjoy Destiny and want more then D2 should deliver, I still enjoy Destiny quite a bit after 4years so I'm optimistic.
datto. the guy that always knows what he's talking about. no one can argue because he knows what's actually happening but also not afraid to talk about the bad parts that actually exist
"I'm trying not to over-hype.. but I AM really hyped" - My feelings exactly Datto
Oh hey man
I'm most concerned about subclass options.
That really only issue I am concerned about, everything else is negligible to me aside from end game content which idk if that will be a concern.
Not an excuse. Many other games managed to have a lot more parity than destiny did. Just because bungie is inept, doesn't mean you excuse them for further limiting an already limited game.
Destiny 1 "Wow Bungie should stop teasing us with these expansions and just release Destiny 2"
Destiny 2 "Wow this looks just like Destiny 1 this should just be an expansion"
Muu Too these people doesn't know what they freaking want, Dude. Smh
Muu Too everything is new did u watch the video
Johnny Lewis He was pointing out the hypocrisy in the community concerning D2.
Johnny Lewis When someone puts quotation marks it means that it's what someone else has said.
Nate Clink unless the armour has more perks to customise
Thank you for talking about the people hating on it for looking the same. Sequels are supposed to look like the previous game
MinezScraft3r Now these guys, know what the fuck they're talking about.
MinezScraft3r Was expecting more customizables for our characters. still getting it though
looking back at all these impression videos and its a serious feelsbadman. hopefully by may or september we'll be back babyyyy
making cool builds is my favourite thing in destiny, i really dislike this change.
The particle and effects are well done, I like how they look!
4 months later I'm curious to know what you think now
@@TXbird007 Almost 4 years later and it's still a mystery, although probably disappointment lol
Datto please keep making these talks/breakdowns/reviews ; I love hearing you talk!
"HOPEFULLY IN DESTINY 2'S LIFESPAN IT WON'T BE ABOUT FIXING THINGS"
Still waiting on that.
Thats the whole reason people play destiny lmao
Great breakdown. Thanks for sharing your insights and commentary. Thank you!! I've got the same gut feeling. I'm worried they may give everyone a great overall experience and then that's it. Maybe we'll get enough content drops to keep things moving though, I hope so!
Datto, you can't say "It sucks because titan now has a perk block all about melees, which aren't viable for late game", Then say "In destiny 2, you can't play the punch-everything titan". You literally just told me I could...
my answer to problem nr 4: do not remove the subclass blocks since they help new players with what perks they should use, but instead the should make it so you can create one custom block which you can choose the perks that you like
My only concern is that they reskinned the supers like they got away with 3 years of reskinning and decided to do it again
some person on the web right. it's not like they operate completely different now, or anything. just a different color..
Dhoulmagus Rhapthorne not even a different color bro. lol
Riley Walls exactly. Sarcasm. None of these new supers are reskins. They're reworks, but that makes sense because of lore and continuity.
They're reskins, dawn blade is hammer of Sol with a sword, the hunter class is blade dancer with a spear. The titan is a mobile bubble. Slight differences but seriously, alot of the same shit. If you're happy with that, fine. But don't tell me they're not reskins of the same classes.
Dhoulmagus Rhapthorne the lore is barely in the game lmao
@Datto is this in-game subtitles (on 5:54 for example) or not?
"Bungie isn't gonna fix what's not broken" *Thinks of mida and cries
I don't know have you said but which platform you gonna play?
The boss loot was shit, half of them weren't even farmable (With specific drops too), the characters got dumbed down to:
_"Hey! everybody liked tiny Tina right? Let's just make the good guys as illiterate and CrAaAazY. While the bad guys are random idiots that could be any other psycho. It'll be funny right?"_
Not to mention there where only 2 raid bosses, the new legendaries where lame (and just woefully bad), and HOLY SHIT the quests we're unbelievably long and unrewarding, *AND* how there was no reason for them, as you can get uniques from drops or the gun grinder anyway.
Tbh I agree TPS got real boring and all the environements looked the same as well. Also travelling around felt way too slow.
Love your views on Destiny man. you've always been my go to for things like this.
Let's be real here... Sony has paid for the delayed pc release.
Dom W then why didn't they also delay Xbox
Shehab Omran because Xbox is on par with PS4, and if ps exclusives are still around, then PS already has the advantage. PC is superior to both platforms, so Sony most likely used their relationship with bungie to get as many PS4 sales as they can before the PC launch
Dhoulmagus Rhapthorne that seems pretty plausible
eh it could be that or it could just be the usual reason that games get a delayed release on PC. the devevelopers require more time to ensure everything is running fine and there are no major bugs. The last notable developer I can think of that delayed the release of its game to PC was Rockstar with GTA 5.
I think they're just taking the time to optimizes it guys but hey who know maybe your right haha
what i wanna know is do we still have the ttk subclasses? cause i havent seen anything on them...
Stfu u nob
The boss in this strike has a unique mechanic. Therefore probably all bosses will have their own mechanics. Don't say you want things before even playing the game or seeing the whole game.
DestinyDragonGod Did you not watch this video? So many sequels look just like their prequels, a TON of them. Just because they look similar does not mean it can't be an expansion.
PurpleTrident
my argument doesn't relate to the astetics as much as the overall strides bring taken (risk, new features, possible redux's on modes and styles of play).
Greatest hope for Destiny 2: In-game Lore
my problem with D2 is that i have to play another 3 years with OLD supers(subclasses) 1 new subclass is not enough...
i mean its not even 1 new subclass its 1 new SUPER grenade and other stuff is like in D1
and these new supers are not even that cool...
RoxS5489 biggest let down (probably the only one, but still big)
Dont kid yourself there will be a dlc with a new subclass for 39.99 we just have to wait for it
i really hope you dont mean this seriously
Kill_ Defcon1 shut up man
Lol im just reflecting on what happened with Taken King 40 bucks for new subclasses. You dont see them repeating it?
Oh shit, you totally got me. Hashtag roasted!
But nobody should ever criticize the developers for not doing their damnedest, because the burden of proof is on the consumer to prove that effort wasn't put into what they bought.
no. you just need to put effort into your craft.bungie doesnt . CDPR are clear example of making a good game and being rewarded because of it.
Do we know anything about the other 2 subclasses for each class are those completely out of the picture or are they going to reveal them later?
(this questions has nothing to do with the video) do i have a chance to get a year 2 sniper (ex:longbow) from sniper kills bounty in crucible?
not first
Fatebringer is always first bud.
Smite of Merain Adept i want you
did the new sub-classes completely replace sunsinger, arkblade and defender? or are they just added on to the list of sub-classes?
I feel like Destiny 1 was more like Destiny: The Alpha and Destiny 2 is the game we expected to launch back in 2014.
i agree
So realistically, the Destiny we want is coming in 2020 lmao.
Lilith Rises that's true. I see some similarities between the two (like the two primaries).
Probably won't be destiny 2 til 2020 kinda like how destiny been out since 2014 yet right when age of triumph came out is when it felt like the full destiny game. hmm
Destiny - Alpha
Destiny Taken King/Rise of Iron - Beta
Destiny 2 - Full game release.
At least that's how I feel. Lol
great point about the sub class blocks, it's a step backwards and expanding on it would be way better.
The Dark Below came out 3-4 months after vanilla Destiny, so we probably won't have to wait too long for the next raid/expansion.
Am I the only one that doesn't give two shits that it won't be on 60fps?
You're in the minority that's for sure.
Jekub you're most likely a casual, therefore you don't care which is good for you. Enjoy
You must be casual
Better to have a steady 30fps than a dipping 60. That's my opinion though.
yeah I dont give 2 shits either...doesn't affect pvp since everyone deals with it along side you....
is it worth to try and create and upload content? destiny or other games. i dont have the best means of production (shitty recording device, shitty computer) is it worth it to actually attempt to produce something? should i wait until my new pc is done? asking you because you are a content creator i enjoy and i could use your input.
This game looks like a step back from destiny 1
Giant Pandas it really, really doesn't.
They "fixed" destiny 1 with destiny 2, they didn't create new things or take risks, which IMO, doesn't make it a new game, just a huge patch with dlc
yea this why this game feels like destiny 1.5
Correct opinion guy in fine with the titan/hunter/ warlock expected that to stay the same and the subclass I expected atleast 1 or 2 but nope instead they just revamped the ones we already had and oh yeah no flying ships disappointed
Correct opinion guy For real
Correct opinion guy everything is new 🆕🆕🆕🆕🆕🆕
As a person who talked about the UI negatively, this was a great way to bring it up.
You know why I'm a subscriber datto? Because you keep it real, and you're not one sided. Nothing but respect from me!
Time for some common sense. Praise the traveler
JackaL YT Praise God, not the traveler
Praise the SUN!.....uh... I mean light.. praise the light.
Why everything is sad in Dark Souls ?
Fernando Lima I was not enlightened back then, I was a ds3 noob. But I heard of the tales of the late and great Solaire and choose to praise the sun in his honor with my fellow sun bros.
Firefox365 If you didn't help solaire, he becomes agressive. And you kill him. But,even Anri and Horace are sad. No happy endings in dark souls.
It's entirely likely that I missed it, but did they say if the raid was going to be available at launch or if it would be held back for a week or so?
If someone ever says, "Ugh it look exactly the same," I just ask them a simple question: "How?"
Because then they say, "It's the same gameplay and same UI." So, like, the two absolute best parts of Destiny 1? And you wouldn't want more of this becaaaauuuuussseee???
Daniel King "Uuh, because Destiny itself is shit"
When was the last time you played it, and for how long?
"I last played on day 1 and only completed the story"
+Muu Too
lol pretty much every single piece of blind Destiny hate can be shut down by a simple question like that.
"omg Raids need matchmaking, Bungie is so stupid"
"Have you ever touched a Destiny raid?"
"No but I just know that people need options, maaannn"
Muu Too compared to what was advertised, Destiny 1 was terrible. The only good thing was the raid and pvp alone.
So I'm confused, you made it sound like when you pick a subclass block that you can't switch the block ever. Is that true?
Xbox Scorpio won't be able to handle 60 fps? Yea right.
Rdomb14 The Scorpio focuses on increasing the GPU much more than the CPU these updated consoles are suposed to give you the same game at a better resolution not a better frame rate
Even if the Scorpio is capable of getting 60 FPS it will still be 30 because it would run on the Xbox One servers and you can't give an advantage to Scorpio players over Xbox One players
Do we know if engrams are going to be in D2? ive not seen any in the footage.
i hope you dont have to buy dlc to keep playing multiplayer like destiny 1
MazzDogger course they will, It is the Destiny way.
Alpha Cipher that is very true
Honestly all I wanted was a more refinement and more stuff to do in Destiny 2. I didn't want them to reinvent the wheel but have that wheel run more efficiently.
Star Wars Battlefront, gorgeous visuals and particle effects, WAY above Destiny 2 with 20 v 20 multiplayer battle with vehicles- smooth 60 fps, came out November 27, 2015
Halo 5 Warzone, a multiplayer game mode with 12 v 12 battles, multiple vehicles, and Team based AI+ enemy AI with bosses- solid 60 fps ON XBOX ONE, came out October 27, 2015
Overwatch, 6v6 multiplayer game with a EXTREME amount of particle effects, bullets, rockets and other crazy shit going off- 60 fps, came out last year
Titanfall 2, 6v6 multiplayer game with the most fucking shit possible going on with Mech vehicles, multiple AI grunts and running on the fucking source engine- 60 fps came out October 28, 2016
Battlefield 1, 32 v 32 multiplayer game with vehicles, destructible environments, MUCH BETTER LOOKING THAN DESTINY 2- 45 fps, came out October 21, 2016
Destiny fucking 2, looks slightly more better then it's predecessor which was apparently "held back" by the PS3 and Xbox One, has slightly more particle effects, 4v4 multiplayer mode- 30 fps, still hasn't come out.
Stop defending Bungie.
Battle Rifle this is so true hahah
When I play a game at 30 fps, sometimes I'm not sure whether I'm actually playing a game or watching a claymation, stop-motion film
Spethman Jones You're probably playing Black Ops on the Nintendo DS then
Spethman Jones w0W uR so FunNy Omg lulolulllollolul hahohohohahhoehaha nIce J0ke DuMbasS!111111
Spethman Jones it's really not that noticeable lolol 😂 I play on pc btw so I play 60+ on a daily as well as console and I hardly see a difference so
Oh please, its not that bad. PC will be uncapped.
I know, I know, it's not _that_ bad and I am overexaggerating, but the PC version will undeniably be the best version
like the affect the thumbnail makes when you scroll up and down
Builds? In destiny? Lol
i mean there were "builds" in destiny 1, they were just very limited, more so now.
just a quick clarification if anyone sees this that the reason they aren't doing dedicated server is because it's expensive AND they would have to do it for three separate platoforms. dedicated server are much more feasible for exclusive titles. the thing we should be pushing for should be (and this is extremely unlikely but I can dream) to allow destiny to share server's between PS4/XBOX/PC because then our player bases would expand and they could invest in dedicated servers.
Why is everyone forgiving the class recycling and lack of technical enhancements? For Honor had a great current gen launch with 30fps and P2P right?
Every decision with D2 went way too far to the casual side - from what's been shown so far.
Do you think that will be better to stay on PS4 when I buy DESTINY 2, or go to PC ... what you think will be better ?
60fps will clearly be a dlc. Seems about the usual amount of added content.
Steve Ozone can they even do that? Or are you just joking?
Lukas Meyvisch can't do that
Steve Ozone moron
Amazing that people can't tell OP is joking.
corruptor5150 it's amazing how you're such a bitch. I was just asking.
The KingOfTheRageQuitters you think running a server farm is cheap huh? haha. I mean I wish they did it but it's not cheap even for big companies.
The KingOfTheRageQuitters That's why you don't buy it
BF1 is doing it, CSGO is doing it, any game with a PVP worth a damn is doing it and i'm disappointed that such a promising game as D2 is being let down by P2P, since we been begging them for this since Y1. just take a look at for honor it's 3 months old and it's dead already.
Datto when you get destiny 2 what class are you going to pick
I dont understand why people are so butthurt that its gonna be 30fps on console...excuse my ignorance please...
Austin Daniels because 60 fps is silky smooth
Austin Daniels personally I agree
i dont think anyone was looking for change but just simply improvement and innovation something doesnt need to be changed for it to be better
This far i've seen no youtuber mentioning that we get the same archetypes of old guns with the same freaking reload!!! I mean i get the archtype but the same reload animation 4 years in a row is boring as hell
Mr_Potatothrower Why would a reload animation change? You expect them to twirl the gun and it magically reloads?
Astrological X lol
So kinetic is an energy, the energy is motion. And energy is to do work, and you need to have power to do work...
i hate when youtubers like this!!
We Are Cancer your name says it all
You heard it from me first!! The Speaker disappears and he has linked up with Osiris. Yes I know Osiris and the speaker went separate ways because of their views but with the collapse the speaker needs someone who can hide him and trust him. Some one has to link up with the dlc that follows up in December/January.
Loved your opinion on the subclasses datto, keep up the good vids.
I was struck by a thought seeing you use the titan shield while peaking over it... will the guerrilla fighter perk not be completely useless on this class??!
I cant wait for datto daily videos
I think a good, easy way to expand the End-Game would be to just copy WoW's Mythic level system, the Nightfall could drop a modifier key, which you can use to start a timed, bumped difficulty variant of the strike (More HP, more damage, modifiers etc) that if you do it in certain time-frames you get better loot (3 drops for 10 mins, 2 for 13, 1 for 15 or under)
But if you fail you still get standard drops and a slightly easier key for a strike, if you pass, the difficulty increases further, but so do the rewards.
Honestly this video is so professionally put together, it should get an award for scripting
Perfect video. I am glad you clearyfide the pc update dlc thing.
Pls make what system you should choice.
However if they invest in servers for consoles we would have also 60fps as in other FPS like Overwaych, Halo 5, etc..
Just got to wait and see I guess.
isn't PC coming on December? or is that a rumour?
Thoughts?
Slightly surprised there's still no facility to switch weapons on the fly but otherwise looking as good as I hoped.
Great thoughts Datto. I really like how you put your thoughts into words. Keep up the amazing content.
I have a question, will there be vandals
This game looks solid I'm just not sure if the shield on the subclass are fair hopefully the make it right.
Will any cosmetics from d1 carry over?
Good, I m not the only one who has concerns about the 2 primaries and 1 POWER weapon slot. Cant wait til the next video then!
Agreed. And it will be a great game. Don't worry. At the VERY least, there's an entire expansion within just 3 months of launch. That's great!
