    So glad I stumbled onto your site. Very refreshing to see someone doing it for themselves without any sponsors. Love the time lapse aspect of your vids.
    Great job on your new space. Great job on all the repurposing you do.

    Very well made video! No time wasted, Informative & easy to understand !!! I have a similar basement that I intend to improve in much the same way as your good self sir so found this very helpful & inspirational!! I have been told by my doctor to consider alternatives to my current employment as a back injury has made it necessary to re-adjust my options for earning a living & this could be one solution. Many thanks!!!

    Looking good. Down the road consider a French cleat wall system instead of peg board.

    • @Bretts_Builds
      @Bretts_Builds  5 років тому

      I would consider it but the cleats always fill up with saw dust, especially with all my sanding tools sitting there.

    The brick partition, i can guarentee it used to be a fireplace chimney. The hole thats in it, you could get away with a single wall stove pipe on a stove/furnace/heater, going thru there without worry. Im actually a little jealous of that

    • @Bretts_Builds
      @Bretts_Builds  5 років тому

      I was thinking about doing something like that but I found out the chimney doesn't actually go anywhere. They broke the top off in the attic and roofed over it.

    Looking good. About to convert a small space into a shop and will be using some of your ideas. One thing i noticed...sump pump shouldn't be installed on a GFCI. I understand wanting to protect yourself but if it trips you can have a flood on your hands. Been an electrician for 20+ years and we never use GFCI on sumps. Have always used a single receptacle. It satisfies code everywhere i have worked. Obviously, if you want to work on the sump pump or pull it up while submerged you should unplug it first.
