Excellent work, I really enjoy watching your videos, I've made one brick wall cutting board and going to start another one for an event I have coming up...lots of work but man they look awesome don't they? Thanks for another fantastic video.
If I put out a few stunning chessboards, to give to friends and family I'm satisfied. I only have to position 68 pieces correctly!!! You take lumber to the maximum number of drops to organize!!! Your layout and speed gluing is 2nd to none! Did you notice @12 minutes on in your video, how to us it looks like 3D!! Very nice plan n layout 👌 I've only seen 2 videos so far, can't wait to search your library of videos??
Hi Ryan just Come across your channel got watching really interesting on how you build that cutting board really cool design . new sub & 👍 Myself I am on level 3 apprenticeship sparky really enjoy in from the uk . great to switch off and watch Different things a lot of work , But well worth it with a great result you have achieved and share in with a long video of the process Nice one , 👊
Amazing board as per usual Ryan. I thought Oak was too porous to make a cutting board from? Something about too much of a chance of holding bacteria? Or does the mineral oil, wax finish take care of that?
I have a question. How to you keep the thickness of the staves the same? I saw your butcher block video and went out and got a barrel and as I'm using the jointer I'm having some that are much thinner than other. Thanks for the great content.
Beautiful cutting boards and a wonderful job making them as well!!! How long was this video without being fast-forwarded?? Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Hi, I'm Ishaq from Indonesia, I just saw your UA-cam channel and I've subscribed to your UA-cam. Can you explain what you did with the wood in the barrel, did you burn it? can you make the video?
Well, this is an older video of yours (planner), and looks very similar to your last video, but I still enjoyed it. You do good work and make it look easy, but damn, I’ll bet it takes a long time to complete a board!
It’s a condensed version of the previous video. I can appreciate that 27 minute long cutting board videos aren’t everyone’s cup of tea. Thanks for watching both!
Vivo en los estados unidos hace unos 8 mese y me encantaria montar un pequeño taller ya que soy carpintero pero no tengo idea de como empesar, tendria que rentar un local primero pero no se como hacerlo
@@ryanhawkins Oh ok, but why can't you flip the board over and cut it on the other side of the blade?. I have the incra and I use it on both sides of the blade.
Ok???? What is the difference between this video and the one from 3 days ago? I guess this voice over. Personally, don't do this to your subscribers because I was anxious to see new creation!
Absolutely amazing! A true master at work!!
extremely nice work ,very hard but the result is so impressive .Thank you for this demonstration.
Thanks for watching!

Love black walnut, and its seedlings.
хорошая мастерская. просторная высокие потолки и главное много станков разнообразных
I'm blessed to have the space I do.
My dad being a brick layer ... it’s my fav board for sure ;)
😉
These are gorgeous 😍
Thanks!

@@ryanhawkins Well they are my cup of tea! When do we get the "comprehensive" version??
No editing....full unaltered warts and all???
😁
I have nothing to say really, but I appreciate your content, and wish to help with the yt-algorithms.
Thank you sir!
U R GOOD. very good. weldone.
Thanks!
Very nice cutting board. How many hours does it take you to make one like that?
Молодец мужик слов нет не каких молодец красота
Комментарий в поддержку канала и ролика, а также труда мастера.
Imagine what you could build with some free space 🤣
😂right? Things are pretty cramped right now😉
Hi Ryan, i really like your work! I would love to join you at a project to learn from you ;)
I would like to see you make a functioning Barrel from scratch. And explain how you did it.
I’d love to try my hand at coopering one day
Belo trabalho parabéns.......🇧🇷
What blade do you run on your bandsaw (e.g., width, tpi, steel/bimetal/carbide)?
Nothing fancy at the moment. It’s a steel 3/4” 3TPI
What type of wood do you use?
White oak and walnut
Me gusto cantidad
Vivo en los estados unidos hace unos 8 mese y me encantaria montar un pequeño taller ya que soy carpintero pero no tengo idea de como empesar, tendria que rentar un local primero pero no se como hacerlo
🎉🎉🎉
How much of each barrel actually was useful??
I’d say just under 50%
@@ryanhawkins Thanks
Bagus ♥️
Why are you pulling the boards through your table saw and not pushing them through.
More surface area for the Incra miter gauge.

👍👍👍

Ever considered doing a simple project :)
I have a bad habit of starting out simple and then blowing things out of proportion
For anything this board useing pleace
Класс!!!
УСПЕХОВ В РАБОТЕ
Thank you
Uh, no. I'd never use it as a cutting surface.

Simply a more condensed version of the longer build. I promise the next video will be something new, thanks for sticking with me :)
I hope you have some really good podcasts and audiobooks to listen to during this endless repetitive work 🙄
