Add a Wooden Handle to a BBQ Tool

- I was given a metal BBQ Spatula by a friend in work, and he asked if I could add a wooden handle for him. I ripped and cross cut 2 thin pieces of mahogany and glued it onto the tang using a 2 part epoxy cement. Once dry, this was then sanded flush. 4 x 6 mm holes where then drilled for wooden dowels to give strength and to add a decorative touch. Once done, a coat of Danish Oil was added. 24 hours later, 5 coats of Spray lacquer was added, sanding in between coats with 600 grit to give a glassy finish.
