I honestly think there are just too many people that truly cannot appreciate what she ACTUALLY did in this performance. To pull off soprano opera with such crystal clear enunciation, it’s near IMPOSSIBLE to not move your lips or expose deep modulating movements in the throat and chest. Then simply make goofy smiles while coordinating the dolls movements with believable synchronicity all while singing opera beautifully in that ventriloquist style. That was absolutely mind blowing. She should have just swept the floor with anyone else. That was stunning.

Metal vibes with Opera, I never thought it would work but it did, also she could sing rock. She definitely is talented, I like a lot of different music, typically Opera isn't something I often listen too because I find it boring, but I also know how hard it is to pull off and I was amazed when Darci did opera while controlling the puppet & with her mouth nearly closed.. I am a ventriloquist to and I find singing really hard as you have to substitute letters and make sure it sounds right. It’s rlly impressive when someone does this.

She can sing different genre (popular, showtune, opera, rhythm & blues, rock & roll, country, yodel, rap) One of Darci's talents that is often over look is she has the ability to do multitask at the same time (sing/speak, ventriloquism, puppeteering, voice acting, acting, comedy, storytelling,) the average person find it hard to focus on more then one or two task at the same time where Darci make it look so easy at a young age.
What is most impressive is that she didn't even actually make it to the finals which means she wasn't even in the top 10! And this one act catapulted her to the 2nd position. So she must have changed the minds of millions! That is one hell of an impactful performance!
This is next level talent...the "echos" at the beginning of her routine, by themselves were stunning...singing opera is nearly opposite of ventriloquism where it is vital to open the throat for "proper" sound and tone....I sat here stunned...and have NO clue as to how she pulled it off...that particular background arrangement has sparse "reference" notes to let the singer know where to remain on pitch...everything about this leaves me gobsmacked...

He openly admits to getting help to perform his superhuman feats from the underworld.

Not really. Try watching the super magician, David Copperfield. He was able to levitate over the grand canyon and do so many out of this world feats that defy logic. I've also watched her performances several times and I just noticed that with this performance her voice has maturwd so much since her audition. Out of 330 million people in America she might be the only one who can actually pull this act off as flawlessly as she did. All respect to Shin Lim but I believe she is the best performer ever to come through AGT and I don't think it's a particularly close call.

Totally agree. There are a lot of great magicians out there. Opera singing ventriloquists? One, and that's it. We may never see another talent like DL again in our lifetime.

Not really. Try watching the super magician, David Copperfield. He was able to levitate over the grand canyon and do so many out of this world feats that defy logic. Where do you suppose he and artists like Darci get the power to perform these extra ordinary feats; there is only one explanation; demons working through them.

this young lady has one of the most iconic voices i have ever heard in my long life of listening to the greatest of female vocalists, the props just magnify her brilliance, she's not a ventriloquist,she's just a magnificent performer at such a young age, i am so in awe, and a beautiful girl also
She is just so amazing I got to see her in person and it's even more amazing to see her in person.
What an amazing voice she has. Not just the opera for this episode, but for all the other singing she has done. That alone would be incredible for anyone. Then take into account her age. Oh yes, let's not forget she's doing it all by throwing her voice through a ventriloquist dummy. So many, many talents. Good luck in everything you do in your life Darci Lynne. You are incredible & don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
I commented before about Darcis performances, and I think she's great. I've also watched her performances several times and I just noticed that with this performance her voice has maturwd so much since her audition. I love listening to opera and I have to say that this was a beautiful rendition of this song.
