- In this timelapse I compare two games where we can see the differences that the historical and non-historical AI have on the game. Do you find this format interesting? If so, please let me know in the comments.
These timelapses have already been made by other channels but they are from a few years ago and I thought it would be interesting to re-check the differences between historical and non-historical game modes, especially with No Step Back.

The most amazing part of this video for me was germany not almost immediately falling into a civil war idk if its just me but they always seem to become the german empire in my games
that's a common issue, the trick is don't use the non historical setting, go into the country path picker and set them all to random, that way Germany will stay historical more often

@@oddi3863 Thanks mate just changed it and it works so much better. Freaking annoying how Germany 95/100 times always goes into depose Hitler.
I mean, Germany has just 2.5 ways: historical Austrian painter, Kaiser (or having a woman as kaiser) or the most rare democratic for real Germany (it happened once to me)

No oil, logistical failure most importantly couldn't capture Moscow and eliminate Stalin.

Разница в менталитете и единстве (немцы сами по себе не были объединены и не были сообща, как советы, что дало большой плюс вторым);
Вера советских людей в победу и разгром Германии, чтобы не дать Германии властвовать на своей территории, ведь они знали чем занимаются немцы на оккупированных территориях (изнасилования (даже несовершеннолетних - с 12 лет) и массовые расправы и расстрелы мирных граждан по национальному признаку);

Dude the “historical” timeline has so many errors. It’s like both of the scenarios in this vid are alternate
The AI is set to “historical” mode where they make decisions analogous to decisions that were made in real life (like operation Barbarossa). But the results of those decisions may play out differently
It's a chaotic system that displays non-linear behavior. Of course it will go off the rails somewhere and that will be amplified. But despite that, historical mode still followed the very loose trajectory that it was supposed to, compared to non-historical
Historical? It doesn't look like that but it's okay.

You mean spectator? That's the name of the console command, and there is no mod that has spectator as a button mid game, but iirc there is a button for spectator when you are choosing your country

What does mean "unhistorical" AI
So it effect the order the AI does its focuses. Germany going war with ussr in 41 stuff like that. Non historical removes that restriction making for some very cursed content like poland switching from 3 diffrent regimes lol.

Ah yes France divided into three states٫ soviets still own a part of Poland٫ there is a yellow nation in Poland٫ Finland still owns that one part٫ Austria owns tyrol٫ Transylvania is independent٫ Soviets own part of Greece and own albania٫ Iraq is split٫ and soviets landed in Italy instead of the US. Grecia fue invadida por Alemania porq Italia no pudo con los griegos, la Francia de Vichy fue invadida también, Italia también fue invadida por Alemania, Finlandia fue invadida por la URSS en 1939 y faltan muchas invasiones. Francamente la rigurosidad histórica del vídeo deja mucho q desear 🙄
