As a man that's gonna be 40 in a month and a half, I am on both parts of the spectrum. This song hit when it came out in 2000 and this version hits now. I'm happy to have both versions in my life forever.

This one’s hitting hard. So many inner thoughts. There has to be more to life and “happiness” than this. Good employment as a local truck driver, healthy relationship with no disagreements. Just thought there should be more or happiness would feel different. Feeling empty. Almost 50 and I think an escape is coming, one way or another

This is such a powerful song! It totally broke me the first time I heard it. Ronnie's reimagined version just hits different. There is a great video of Ronnie playing this for Papa Roach. He was so nervous that Jacoby wouldn't like it. Of course, he loved it. You should also check out I'm Not a Vampire, the original followed by their revamped version. Similar to this one, they are very different but both brilliant. I was a little worried about how this one would affect you but should have known you would do great 💜💜

This version of the song hits different, and as someone living with depression this was so good to me, made me cry the first time I heard it. The lyrics stand out so much more and the video also showing how it feels when you are in that deep depression, feels like the whole world is falling apart around you. Great reaction and looking forward to seeing you fall in reverse deeper down this rabbit hole 😁

Glad you liked it... It's amazingly beautiful...full body chills every time I watch it (which is A LOT)...So emotional. I would suggest going back to Watch the world burn LIVE... It's even better than the video. I've seen them once in concert and Ronnie is always so energetic going back and forth across the stage. Ronnie is a genius as you will see from his other videos, they are all mini movies.

This was amazing.
The visuals in this MV make me think of how we come to the breaking point. Everything was falling apart until he reached "I can't go on living this way", at which point the breakdown just paused and it was like a moment of decision - I can't continue living like this, so do I stop living or do I take a step back and try to put pieces back together? It's also a perfect example of how men in general tend to be expected to hold things together, so he's still screaming inside that nothing's alright even while rebuilding an exterior that looks unshaken.
I honestly don't think I've seen a man react to this without getting emotional somehow, and I've seen how it affected my husband. We felt like the Papa Roach version was like the angsty pain of youth trying to find expression, and Ronnie's version is like the internal expression of life's struggles and trauma that we feel forced to suppress but keep having to face until we're able to find a way to walk in recovery.
Really enjoying the reactions I'm cherry picking today, so wanted to let you know. I'm just trying not to comment on most of the older ones as I go!

This version definitely hits you in the gut emotionally. Papa Roach's version was more of an anthem for rebellious and angsty teens, but this version hits us all adults that grew up in the 80s/90s with an emotional sucker punch. I love this version so much. I can relate with the vibe this version is putting out. Makes me think of my past and also my present life. I shed tears myself hearing this for the first time. Im happy Ronnie made this happen. Awesome reaction dude.

Epic version!! Ronnie has been thru a lot in his life yes. His drug of choice for yrs was Black Tar Heroin he got sober in prison. He has to other re-imagined songs too one is the Drug in Me is You he re-did his own song about 10 yrs after the release you should do the reaction in one do the old version then the new it's crazy to see how much he has grown in talent.

I loved the original, but I feel this version so much more deeply. There's a cute video of Ronnie playing Jacoby this song, and it's cute to see how nervous Ronnie is to have him hear it! Ronnie is a controversial figure, for sure, but I don't know how anyone can deny his musical genius.

You might enjoy the video of Ronnie showing his version to the original artist. It was very sweet, and quite humanizing to see Ronnie so nervous :D I don't think I cried at this one, but Ronnie has definitely made me cry on another track. I won't say which, because of spoilers. ;)
