After the 4-5 months of waiting we were keen to get it on there and test it out.
We have not heard back from Manta yet regarding the exhaust. but we will keep this updated below...
EDIT** We heard back from Manta Eventually. We were then sent a complete replacement Mid Section of our exhaust system to correct our fault.
Which is just our time to Refit.
There are no outstanding issues with the exhaust to date.
Nature of the beast being a DPF Model 200 Series. the sound even with the DPF Back straight pipes is very manageable. its not too loud, it doesn't drone.
But is ALOT quiter and doesn't emit as much of a note as the PRE DPF models.
Thats just the nature of the DPF Model in full functionality.
There are not legal ways around this unfortunately.
Looks good. A friend of mine has just put on the Torqit X-Pipe twin 3” into 4” DPF back on his LC 200. Sends a great note. Slightly thicker stainless steel to the Manta. Workmanship is mint.

Are you happy with the system you installed? Does it drone when you are or not towing? Did you see any performance changes?
Very happy - it's got a good noise without to much drone - if you like hearing the sound then it's a great exhaust. If you want something sedate and subtle it's probably not for you.
I don't think there was any performance gain - the DPF restricts the exhaust more than the mufflers would have - if there was any performance gain it isn't noticeable.
Did you put the car on the dyno for a before and after comparison? It would have been intersting to see if there is any power difference.

Did you have to tune the car? If so, does it void the warranty.
We dont have to do a tune just for this mod. but generally speaking a tune will void warranties.
Next on list for me nice . What size rims and tyres are you running ?
They are 35x12.5x18 @Aaron Offroader done a video covering the mods that were carried out in relation to this.

Just watching your build series now and interested to see what issues you found and Manta’s response. I had a real rattle on mine which was eventually fixed by the dealer. wondered if it was build quality given the six month wait i had as well
The issue was an incomplete weld - essentially a small hole in one of the welds which obviously meant a hole in the exhaust - which is not ideal. Manta eventually sent out a replacement part (that took some time for them to organise that however) - the car went back up on the hoist and the old part pulled out and new part sent back.
We understand in manufacturing mistakes are made or imperfections missed - it's not a criticism on Manta as we are all only human - it was certainly a frustrating process however noting how long it took for the exhaust to arrive plus the disappointment at knowing we'd need to change it. All fixed now and happy.
@@SignatureCamperTrailers thanks for getting back to me. I think mine relates to a bracket that may rattle lose (after another 10000 kms since the last service).

Does it drone at highway speed, especially under load? That's the decider for me..
Short answer - yes.
Personally it’s not loud enough to annoy us but you can definitely hear it. In the ends it’s a twin turbo V8 diesel running through a 3 to 4 inch exhaust - we want to be able to hear it roar.
