Hey guys! I know school is officially over, but I still wanted to share with you all what my husband and I did for the kindergarteners at my school. We wanted to give them something special to remember their first year of school by, so we made personalized T-shirts for each and every one of them, including the teachers! We just wanted to give them something special that they could look back on forever. Any ideas for next year? Maybe to take this idea to the next level 🩵🫶🏼
My teacher did this really cool thing where they made a bookmark with clear resin and added like flowers and charms in the resin and waited for it to harden and wrote our names on it with letter stickers and when they dried they came out so beautiful. It's so cool as it was a memory and something to use aswell!
I think it was a great idea definitely something to make them all smile! I wish you were my kids kindergarten teacher 😂x Anyway i wish you the best in the next school year ❤xx

You truly never fail to amaze me w your love & gratitude to not only your kids but now the whole grade itself!! My girls will be starting school shortly too & I know how you feel. I don’t want my children to ever be just another number to the teacher they have. Our children are the #1 people in our lives and we value them so much! Feeling this way has helped me realize that each individual life is so meaningful and carries great value. Whatever I know these individuals or not 😭😭🩵this is their childhood, not mine. I’m in control of creating great memories for them ✨

You remind me a lot of my 5th grade teacher Mr. Marriotti. I was going through it with my mom having brain cancer and he always made sure I was comfortable and okay all the way up till even now when we speak. Your children will remember you forever.

You and your family are the best. My grandson just finished kindergarten. I made them treat bags for Christmas thanksgiving St. Patrick’s day, Halloween San Antonio fiesta and graduation. I enjoyed doing it for them because they would get so excited. Teachers like you make the world a better place. They are so blessed to have you as their teacher.
I love that you got the children’s individual sizes.. as someone who was poorly as a child and had to go on steroids, I put on a lot of weight aged 8/9, ‘one size’ would not fit all and although I had lots of friends, I felt excluded and bullied when T-shirts in group settings didn’t fit. I just thought that was the sweetest detail perhaps others may not have noticed 🥰 And what a beautiful and memorable idea! X
Sara, I know there are several ways to end the school year but, getting white tshirts and permanent marker and let the kids sign each other's shirts. Or, get tempura paint and let the kids put their handprint on each other's shirts.
The fact that y’all bought these and gave them out vs selling them to the kids is just the best thing EVER!! I remember being in elementary and I had to buy the class picture shirts, which I still have. 😅❤ I know a lot of students will hold onto them. ❤

this is so cute and i promise you that yours kids will love and cherish those shirts long after they’ve left your class!! my first grade teacher made each of her students a custom scarf with our names embroidered on the bottom and i cannot be more grateful to have had her as a teacher both for the lovely memories and the momento 💕💕you’re doing great things !

Our school for the sixth graders gave shirts with the school mascot and all our names on the back of our shirt with our mascot
