I know, right? Monster Energy Drinks are a wasted opportunity for such a clever joke, like when Mike warned Sulley that sneaking Boo in a monster disguise into Monsters Incorporated could get them banished like *The Abominable Snowman, Bigfoot and The Loch Ness Monster.* Or when Eda told Luz in the first episode of The Owl House that the witch world banished giraffes.

Monsters Inc was the first movie I ever saw in theaters but I was almost two so I don’t really remember it. It’s still one of my favorite movies and hearing the show’s intro brought nostalgic tears to my eyes. You can only imagine how much I anticipated this show, I thought it’d be for Monsters Inc fans what The Mandalorian was for Star Wars fans. I was semi disappointed watching the first two episodes. Pretty much everything you said about it is correct: it’s boring in the worst way, Tyler has “vanilla protagonist” syndrome, but there’s a fun moment snuck in here and there. I thought I was being a typical angry fan, but at times, it felt like a poorly written Monsters Inc self-insert fan fiction or Superstore if it was made for kids. My biggest complaint is it probably should’ve been something like Tyler becomes an assistant/intern to Mike and Sully, that way the focus remains on the pair, but we can see what happens through the eyes of a new guy. Only good part was I laughed at most of the Mike and Sully scenes and it was nice seeing Celia again, who I totally forgot was voiced by Jennifer Tilly. Only thing keeping me going is the fact it’s supposed to have a full season, and pilots in my opinion are more often than not the worst of the show, since they’re still ironing out the kinks and the only purpose the first episode serves is exposition. Looking forward to any future review you make!
I myself am also not so enthusiastic about this new series. I will still give the rest of the episodes a chance and I do so hope that Randal returns with Steve Bulsemi voicing him.
Regardless of the quality of the show, I love that they're addressing all the monsters who spent years studying horror suddenly having the rug pulled out from under them and having to be comedians. :'D
I watched it and so far it’s just…okay. I don’t know why, maybe it’s the dialogue or the animation, but something about the show just feels off to me? I'm not gonna lie when I was a kid I use to cry from the monsters Inc movie during the scene when sully says "kitty has to go". Growing up and watching MU sure it brought back some nostalgia but it was kind of hit and miss. This show while I will say is kind of slow but with only two episodes I'm cautiously optimistic with a huge backing of years of nostalgia in thinking a piece of my childhood lives on in something new for old and new fans of this to take with open arms. But like I said, "cautiously optimistic"
I highly recommend checking out a recent video that goes over the plot of the cancelled Monsters Inc. sequel. I’m also a die-hard Monsters Inc. fan and the video really gave me the feels.
The first 2 episodes are more of a introductory to the characters so of course LIKE A LOT OF OTHER SHOWS it's going to be more expository. But only watching the first 2 and ignoring the rest does not mean its boriing
I think you're a bit loose with the word "evil" when describing Duncan. To me, based on the last three episodes, he's more of an a-hole than he is evil. He reminds me more of Dwight from The Office. Really self absorbed and looks down on everyone but still cares to some degree.
I do like that they use a character to represent someone who must deal with changes involving the loss of the job field they studied in. That was something that came to my mind with the end of the first movie and after watching the second. In most shows such conflict is never reflected on as if everyone just rolls on with the changes without any struggles.
Makes me remember talking to a few professors in college who had been Russian studies majors and then the end of the cold war knocked out their career paths. They even admitted it was sort of funny, the world was probably much safer when the cold war ended but their futures were suddenly very much in doubt.
Incidentally, MU is my favorite Pixar movie. People hate it because it was a bad prequel that nobody wanted, everyone had high hopes for a Monsters Inc. sequel, AND it's supposedly a very stereotypical college movie (I haven't seen many college movies, so I take their word for it.) I love it however because it's a fantastic stand alone movie with very meaningful themes, extremely well done environments, and one of the most important and well executed morals I've ever seen in a movie.
I like both Monsters Inc. and University but Monsters University is flawed but there is a moral message that nobody notice. I recommend on watching the video from Made2Express called "Why Monsters University Sucks?" and explained about the the flaws of the film, then straight to the message.
Oh god, I hate people like val and fritz in real life with a passion. they just cant take a hint and when you finally spell it out to them, they act like you are the asshole when they where the ones who constantly bugged you for no good reason.
Come on guys, only 3 episodes are out for now, give it a chance, maybe the series will develop in the futher episodes. I see a big potential in this show. Also, am I the only one, who actually likes the animation? It feels for me like a mix of both MI and MU.
In my opinion, _Monsters at Work_ is pretty decent and I like it. Keep in mind that the series takes place after the events of the _Monsters Inc._ so maybe the show is the closest thing we have for a sequel (I guess). At least there are little references that wrap up the series and keep faithful to the previous movies, such as the Tyler graduated at Monsters University on the day where Waternoose got arrested in the opening scene of the first episode and Mike even mentioned Boo in the third episode. *_"LAUGHTER, WE'RE AFTER."_*
They still could’ve included Tyler, but made him an intern or an assistant to them. That way, the focus remains on Mike and Sully but we see what happens through the eyes of a newcomer.
I think it's gonna be one of those shows that start out corny or clunky at first but will get better with time. The animation is still better than a lot of Disney series or straight to DVD releases! xD I'm willing to stick with it through the first season and go from there.
I like this show so far. This is coming from a guy who’s favorite films as a kid were the Monsters films, so I’m probably a little nostalgia-blind, but I just like the show. I didn’t really laugh at a lot of the jokes but the show retains that Monsters Inc charm for me. It just gives off this warm and nostalgic feeling by seeing this characters again. I’ll probably do a rewatch when the nostalgia wears off but right now at least, I like it.
I think the show is still going strong and keeps the canon intact. I'm glad they brought back the Abominable Snowman in a way that felt organic and developed him more.
If you refer to the story where "adults can't see monsters, but only kids can" I hope that never happens, I hate that concept. Like, monsters aren't some celectial beings or ghost, they actually physically exist, besides everyone saw the Yeti and people saw Randall beafore beating him up, so why the hell adults aren't able to see them? I'd much rather watch Randal's redemption story.
I think you're the first person I've seen to point out that Monsters at Work technically happens before the very end of Monsters Inc. I wonder if we'll see a reference to Mike collecting pieces of Boo's door.
This would actually be a good idea since we already know boo won't appear and the real reason why it'd be a sweet callback while also organically serving as a canon reason for her absence he implies it took a while to get them all
1:04 Boards of Directors selecting a new CEO is their primary job, usually. Promoting a previous non-executive to CEO is weird, but Sully has at least a little clout for being the previous "Top Scarer" for several fiscal quarters and was the one who discovered that Laughter was a more efficient/renewable source of energy. Considering the change in company methods of energy gathering/creation it is not a horrible idea to hire the "experts." Also keep in mind, the board is desperate based on comments by Mr. Waternoose in regards to the reduction of incoming Scream and its resulting loss in revenue.
I'm hoping we see Dean Hardscrabble from Monsters University if anything just to see how changing from screams to laughter affects her and the university seeing as she's one of if not the best scarer.
@@hassanalkhalaf1115 Probably, Hell for all I know she's probably retired by now but it would still be nice to see her since she played an important part in Mike and Sully's lives and it would be interesting to know her take on laughter vs screams.
I haven’t watched this yet but I have feeling the purple underdog monster is unneeded…let’s be real all we wanna see is Sully,Mike, and Boo together again even if it’s just one more time
Oh yeah, for me: Mike and Sulley are the best part of the show by far (obviously.) I'm glad you made a video about this! Nobody else has yet 0_o. This is an underrated show and I personally think it's really good! And the show DEFINITELY NEEDS MORE SULLEY. Also, Cutter is OVERLY obsessed with death that it's actually kind of disturbing, lol.
I went and checked out this series on Disney Plus and I have to say, I kinda liked it and when I saw that Henry Wrinkler is in it, you know THE Fonz is in this, I had to check that out. And Duncan is so far, my favorite character in this. He sounds like David Spade, either that or a good impersonator. There's 10 episodes so far and I want to see more.
Something that I'm pretty sure is mentioned in the Monsters Inc. Movie is that there are other companies devoted to harnessing screams for energy. It could have been a post credit scene for Monsters U. But I think this show could have a really good story arc about how Monsters Incorporated, the supposed premiere company is dropping screams and going with laughter. Because I do remember that there were power shortages which is what prompted Waternoose(?) and Randall to build that scream sucking machine. The point however is that this major power supply company is going through a massive change in production in a sense, something that these other companies should take notice of that their main competitor just dropped scaring humans to making them laugh and is according to numbers at least getting more power than ever before. That would be something these other companies would want to investigate to see if Monsters Incorporated is cooking their books or if there truly is something to them changing how monsters have generated power. So getting a monster on the inside for corporate espionage would make for an interesting story. Additionally as you said this series takes place the day after Waternoose's arrest, even if they were getting that information out as quickly as possible the monster world would need time to react and absorb this information about humans, i.e. not being toxic, laughter is better than screams, and so on. Not to take the series into boring "senate meetings" but there should outside perspective on what those not involved in the company think about what Monsters Incorporated is doing. Some of the monsters questioning if this really works. You could make jabs about people protesting Laugh Energy the same way they do about Nuclear if you wanted to make a comment on the energy industry. Like many series there are loads of options available for the show to go over so it doesn't get boring so long as the series wants to actually try and not just hope it can coast off the name alone.
Remember, Disney doesn't even put Pixar films in theaters anymore, so I am not surprised that they most likely gave Pixar a small budget to work with for the show.
You should be like that guy who's currently talking about the new iCarly. He reviews two episodes every two weeks. I would like to hear more about this show from you.
My first priority for making videos is to talk about what I want. My second priority is to talk about what my audience wants to see. I'll ride the algorithm just like any other UA-camr if the subject matter is something I want to cover and something I think my personal audience would enjoy.
@@ShadyDoorags First of all, wow, a UA-camr responded to me, never happened before. Thanks! But back to the discussion, thats a nice balance between business and art. Respect. I have seen too many UA-camrs start making content that gets views, but they don't personally enjoy it. But I respect the ones that acknowledge this and try to balance it out instead of turning"fake" or just putting in half baked efforts. Also, your channel has got potential, keep it up. Not everyone can analyze things and still make it enjoyable to watch, I think most people don't realize how hard that can be, especially people like me who love to analyze things but don't realize that people can find that boring. God bless and love you. Keep it up.
I just got done with the third episode and I just wanted to see what UA-camrs were talking about it. I personally fell in love with it on the first episode, even tho it does have it's problems. Monsters Inc has always been my comfort movie and I'm really happy to see Sully and Mike in full swing and I absolutely loved them in the third episode. The third episode is actually really good and it gave me some hope for rest of this show. I think Val will become less annoying. In all, I get why other people wouldn't watch it but for me I'm happy it exists. The title sequences makes me smile every single time.
3:42 Never would have thought that multi-eyed monster was British but here we are and I'm not mad about it. Honestly kind of fits him. In the movie he just grunted and that's it so him having a smart-ish British accent is surprising.
Come to think of it, I feel like this would be very terrifying. Imagine waking up in the middle of the night and a giant horned monster with large teeth starts communicating and telling basic jokes to you in the dark.
Monsters inc requires a lot of ignoring of common sense. How are there never adults in the room? Never dogs? How are the adults never nearby to hear the screams? The monsters never get caught?
So my best guess to answer why the old scarier are still there is I think they got grandfathered in since they had been working there for years and Tyler had started after the changes where made
** duncan is the only one that could understand banana bread. ig he didn’t care to ask him his name and prefers the nickname, which makes sense considering he calls tylor “college boy” duncan is my favorite too, he keeps shit moving in an entertaining way fr 😂 and sadly i agree w the whole wanting to laugh but not laughing thing, but that’s with their intentional jokes. i can’t tell you how much me and my brother laughed making fun of this show, the characters, and doing nonsense theories. i kid you not, now w the newer episodes, we did a bit on how they were gonna add a red sully and a blue mike. they literally added a blue mike. we died when he came on screen. anyway it’s a fun time since me and my brother both love Monsters inc + university, and don’t take the show so seriously. i’m glad you weren’t unreasonably critical. this was a good video!! :D
I’d like to request videos on early Simpsons if you’re interested. I don’t know if you’ll have material for it, but I love your videos and 90’s Simpsons episodes are my favorite. If anyone could find interesting character development to talk about, it’d be Shaddy. Also, those early Simpsons episodes are notorious for getting people to experience heartfelt moments in a comedy driven show that precursors shows like King of the Hill.
You missed how during the laugh floor scene showing the working monsters, a lot of the monsters that were scarers weren't on the board. The monsters you did see was the guy who jot shaved, the guy in the first opening movie that fell on the jacks, the lanky guy with the bowtie, and Mike. They currently only have 3 funny monsters working at the scare floor now laugh floor. And they are working ragged.
I know a lot of scarers weren't currently on the floor, but they still got to keep their positions. They were still scarers, but were in the process of being trained as jokesters. Tylor flatout got repositioned to a new job.
@@ShadyDoorags we actually don't know if the scarers are still in scarring positions. From what I saw that seen with the eye guy was just the initiation to see if he could be a jokester and failed. I was under the assumption that the other scarers that are still on staff are taking comedy classes while in other positions so they can still work somewhere in the company. Don't know of some quit to loon for other work or if they're still in the company in other job positions that relate to other skills they have for the time being.
i just realized that when they switched to laughing from screams for their power source, a lot of scary monsters are either gonna be fired or demoted in favor for the funny monsters 😬
It’s hard to quantify, but something just kind of seems off about the animation of the newer monsters, and that applies to Monaters U as well as this show. I guess they’re just too bright?
I kinda vibe with the low-key tone of the series of going to work and working off kinks of a new work environment both for Tylor and the company. I do want the show to improve as it goes along but for now especially with Val and Fritz. They don't bother me as much as you just because of how low stakes everything is. It doesn't really need to be the next great thing but I would also like to see more experimental things beyond "the office" setting they have right now.
Val has no potential imo. Just an annoying character. I have a feeling they intentionally wrote Fritz like this at the beginning, then he starts to understand Tylor more as the series goes on and becomes much more tolerable.
Even though Monsters University isn’t well liked amongst most Pixar fans but honestly after rewatching both movies so I can have a refresher for this show, I actually had a good time with it! It’s more of a slice a life (with a bit of action) movie kinda similar to Luca (which is the most recent Pixar movie to come out) which I kinda hope maybe Pixar can do more slice of life movies since if Luca and Monsters University did well (in my opinion) they should do it
How cool would it be if Monster at Work’s humor purposefully improves as the Monsters do. It could be as if our laughter contributed to the Monster world’s gradual energy increase!
In my opinion monsters at work is a nice show to turn onto the tv when the family is eating dinner. It's something everyone can enjoy. And I feel like that's what they were going for when making it.
I am actually in that very position stage in my life right now and the thing where the annoying female monster was talking about that hurt me in its accuracy
At the moment I’m really enjoying the show, it’s pretty cool since the idea of a monster graduating from mu and getting to become a scarer just to be told he wasted years of his life was always a joke I would make with my brother but now it’s really a thing
That's exactly what I was thinking about this show. I wasn't one of the ones who saw Monsters Inc. in theaters until they rereleased it in three-d's later on and multiple repeats on TV, so I didn't grow up with it, but I do find Monsters at Work adorable. That's it. A few jokes made me laugh, but not bust a gut laughter. Also, I realize that the board of directors doesn't want to deal with the gaping backlash of the company failing, so they plucked Mike and Sully from the Scare Floor up to C.E.O. to cover for the damages.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge huge fan of Monsters Inc. And Sulley and Mike. But this show.. it just doesn't have that same feeling that I had when I saw the original movie
I think the 1st two episodes are aight. I don't really think we needed a show like this but I'm willing to accept it, and would like to see where it goes.
The people who worked on this were on disney instead of the heads of pixar I mean it wouldnt change anything since the old workers of pixar were gone But idk Soul still had the magic of what makes pixar "pixar"
I'm really enjoying the series. I do wish it focused more on Mike and Sully though. I have grown to like Tylor and some of the others. I love that it brought back some of the characters from the first movie like Cecilia, and the two idiots where one keeps telling the other to shut up and calls him an idiot.
"You know that character that the audience can't understand, but the characters understand perfectly and they usually have the smartest things to say?" Groot? Mr. Dinkles? I think that is the "Intelligible unintelligible" trope.
You guys shouldn't judge just off a few episodes, on top of that you can't say the animation is bad or stuff like that cause it's a show for a reason. If they make a new movie then of course they will make it look 10 times better. So Jesus people give it a change.
The concept of this show is great. I adore Monsters Inc, I even REALLY like Monsters University. But what I liked was Mike and Sully. I don’t like any of the new characters and just like Shady said I’m not laughing at all at a cartoon about becoming a comedian. Being funny is the entire plot and I haven’t genuinely laughed once after 3 episodes. I only ever enjoy when Mike and Sully are on screen so I wish they would’ve made a show about them and not about Tylor. This will probably be a show I watch once and never return to.
I knew they wouldn't be the main characters, because they keep using the original voices, which means that it would be expensive to keep them for long periods of time. On the other hand, they do seem to be wanting to give us the opposite message of Mike in Monsters U with Tylor, he's not funny, Mike made it to the scare floor but he never became a scarer, Tylor might get the same response in reverse
I agree with most of what you say, and yes I hated those 2 idiots the whole first half of the season, but they get a little better as time goes on. What do you think about the series finale?
I am just going to say here that as a kid I thought that moster energy drinks came from monster's incorporated. I was an idiot child.
If you told me this as a kid, I would've believed you.
That must have been cool.
I know, right? I like both Monsters Inc. and University but Monsters University is flawed but there is a moral message that nobody notice. I recommend on watching the video from Made2Express called "Why Monsters University Sucks?" and explained about the the flaws of the film, then straight to the message.
Oh god, I hate people like val and fritz in real life with a passion. they just cant take a hint and when you finally spell it out to them, they act like you are the asshole when they where the ones who constantly bugged you for no good reason.
Same when I was watching the episode I actively screamed at the TV
Hu
Come on guys, only 3 episodes are out for now, give it a chance, maybe the series will develop in the futher episodes. I see a big potential in this show. Also, am I the only one, who actually likes the animation? It feels for me like a mix of both MI and MU.
Yeah. I think the show is pretty good but I hope it doesn't fall down.
I actually really liked the 3rd episode because it was more of Mike and Sully. Also Mike’s song was really sweet
All ready val isn’t a pain in the ass anymore
I love it. The show is really good imo. These guys really needed to wait until more episodes came out
In my opinion, _Monsters at Work_ is pretty decent and I like it.
They should have just focused on Mike and Sully
They still could’ve included Tyler, but made him an intern or an assistant to them. That way, the focus remains on Mike and Sully but we see what happens through the eyes of a newcomer.
They never do the things that people obviously want the most.
Yeeeaaaahhh. It just screams "We didn't want to pay for Billy Crystal and John Goodman"
They came back for the show
@@WobblesandBean which sucks because they were the best part of the show for me. It felt like they never went away.
I think it's gonna be one of those shows that start out corny or clunky at first but will get better with time.
The animation is still better than a lot of Disney series or straight to DVD releases! xD
I'm willing to stick with it through the first season and go from there.
The first episode was fine, but the second wasn't really that enjoyable for me. It might get better, but for now it's just kinda meh for me 😟
You gotta understand character intronexploring the environment. You can't watch 2 episodes and NOT give it a chance Jesus what is wrong with people.
@@omarb10legends99 don't be angry😂 different people have different opinions, I'd prefer the show to focus more on Mike and Sully
I forgot this show was happening.
Wish the cancelled Monster Inc 2 story actually made it to the screen.
Welp, after that finale, we can all agree that the show was awesome
My 4 yr old and I like this show its unique not perfect like a kids version of the office.
I'm hoping we see Dean Hardscrabble from Monsters University if anything just to see how changing from screams to laughter affects her and the university seeing as she's one of if not the best scarer.
She must be old now
@@hassanalkhalaf1115 Probably, Hell for all I know she's probably retired by now but it would still be nice to see her since she played an important part in Mike and Sully's lives and it would be interesting to know her take on laughter vs screams.
Watching this video shows I have WAY WAY WAY more tolerance for characters lmao
Notice we don't see Roze in the same room as Roz.
I haven’t watched this yet but I have feeling the purple underdog monster is unneeded…let’s be real all we wanna see is Sully,Mike, and Boo together again even if it’s just one more time
So you prefer fanservice over actual narrative, I mean Boo being part of the story contraditcs what the first movie did, so okay
@@lonelysatoshi2482 it’d be better to watch that instead of a shitty uninspired College story
Oh yeah, for me: Mike and Sulley are the best part of the show by far (obviously.)
I'm glad you made a video about this! Nobody else has yet 0_o.
This is an underrated show and I personally think it's really good!
And the show DEFINITELY NEEDS MORE SULLEY.
Also, Cutter is OVERLY obsessed with death that it's actually kind of disturbing, lol.
Fritz’s design makes me so irrationally angry and I don’t know why
Geez. That frame rate. This show looks like a FMV off Sega Saturn.
Remember, Disney doesn't even put Pixar films in theaters anymore, so I am not surprised that they most likely gave Pixar a small budget to work with for the show.
@@VagabondRetro Dude, Pixar isn’t even working on the show
@@TeknoThom What, then who is?
@@VagabondRetro Just regular Disney
@@TeknoThom Then that could also explain it.
Look with all of these polarizing reboots and sequels. Monsters at work is a damn masterpiece and should be more appreciated way more then it is.
You should be like that guy who's currently talking about the new iCarly. He reviews two episodes every two weeks. I would like to hear more about this show from you.
I like how you want to really earn views and not just ride on the algorithm, while very risky it could pay off.
Keep it up.
3:32 new employees get the shaft ya know
Man I got advertisements for this show EVERY DAY
I just got done with the third episode and I just wanted to see what UA-camrs were talking about it.
I love this show! how can you hate monsters at work!
the original monsters inc movie is great
and so is its Prequel monsters university
this series, seems to be quite fun

Never would have thought that multi-eyed monster was British but here we are and I'm not mad about it.
So my best guess to answer why the old scarier are still there is I think they got grandfathered in since they had been working there for years and Tyler had started after the changes where made
** duncan is the only one that could understand banana bread. ig he didn’t care to ask him his name and prefers the nickname, which makes sense considering he calls tylor “college boy”
duncan is my favorite too, he keeps shit moving in an entertaining way fr 😂 and sadly i agree w the whole wanting to laugh but not laughing thing, but that’s with their intentional jokes. i can’t tell you how much me and my brother laughed making fun of this show, the characters, and doing nonsense theories. i kid you not, now w the newer episodes, we did a bit on how they were gonna add a red sully and a blue mike. they literally added a blue mike. we died when he came on screen.
anyway it’s a fun time since me and my brother both love Monsters inc + university, and don’t take the show so seriously.
i’m glad you weren’t unreasonably critical. this was a good video!!
I find the show rather meh. I'd rather see Disney finish Tron: Uprising.
It’s hard to quantify, but something just kind of seems off about the animation of the newer monsters, and that applies to Monaters U as well as this show. I guess they’re just too bright?
Yeah, they look more like plush toys instead of actual monsters
I can always respect someone whos willing to walk the path less traveled. Solid vid, shady. Be safe and keep ya head up, bruh 😎👍
I actually really like this show. It’s not so kiddy that an adult can’t enjoy it
Found your channel yesterday via your Raya video and I'm excited to start digging through your content! Love your stuff!
Even though Monsters University isn’t well liked amongst most Pixar fans but honestly after rewatching both movies so I can have a refresher for this show,
I actually had a good time with it! It’s more of a slice a life (with a bit of action) movie kinda similar to Luca (which is the most recent Pixar movie to come out) which I kinda hope maybe Pixar can do more slice of life movies since if Luca and Monsters University did well (in my opinion) they should do it
I wish the animation is like current pixar movies.
How cool would it be if Monster at Work’s humor purposefully improves as the Monsters do. It could be as if our laughter contributed to the Monster world’s gradual energy increase!
I really liked this show, i watched every episode & I'd be up for more seasons. Please comment on more episodes. ☺
agreed, I want his review of the whole season now, because the last few episodes are so much better
Without mike and sully getting more cameos I don’t see myself watching this show nor do I see it lasting
It’s good
You really blow my mind with the idea with the duncan theory.
Reminds me of Kingdom hearts 3 and its "sequel" story. Whats up with Disney and mediocre shows and a rare diamond now and then.
This show it golden to me. Honestly is one of the better spin offs from Disney
I think it's a nice show it wasn't really necessary but it's Good for what it's worth
All I can say is, this is alright! And as a student who’s is literally still in uni, I’m intrigued with Tyler’s story.
In my opinion monsters at work is a nice show to turn onto the tv when the family is eating dinner. It's something everyone can enjoy. And I feel like that's what they were going for when making it.
graduate from college and realize there is no market for your skills. This is one of those relatable comedies.
I actually like the show. I just think it's fun.
THANK YOU! Someone else who sees how far in denial Spongebob is about his and Squidward being "Friends"
It kills me to not see the pixar logo above the monster inc logo
This is just the early stages, maybe it'll turn for the better later on
That's exactly what I was thinking about this show.
It doesn’t look like animated ver of Office, it’s basically set in factory, not in office
The side characters really piss me off they’re obnoxious and tiring. I think tylor is fine, but he is way too passive for my taste…
Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge huge fan of Monsters Inc. And Sulley and Mike. But this show.. it just doesn't have that same feeling that I had when I saw the original movie
respect for not talking about what everyone is talking about cause its the big thing
5:58 what about schnitzel from chowder?
I think the 1st two episodes are aight. I don't really think we needed a show like this but I'm willing to accept it, and would like to see where it goes.
I'm back yeah its aight
The people who worked on this were on disney instead of the heads of pixar
I mean it wouldnt change anything since the old workers of pixar were gone
But idk
Soul still had the magic of what makes pixar "pixar"
"It's an untapped market"
That killed me 🤣🤣
I was hoping that this could lead toward them revisiting the “Boo” idea. I would love to see that concept become a reality
My family and I keep laughing out loud at this so I guess it is weather the humor lands or not.
There was definitely a few moments that genuinely made me laugh🤣! I do really hope the rest of the series holds up 🤞
You guys shouldn't judge just off a few episodes, on top of that you can't say the animation is bad or stuff like that cause it's a show for a reason. If they make a new movie then of course they will make it look 10 times better. So Jesus people give it a change.
val feels like disney tried to recreate wander from wander over yonder but completely misunderstood what makes wander likeable
shady doorags voice makes me sooo happy!😂😂
These new monsters dont seem like they have a personality beyond one trait.
I really like the concept and it seems charming, so i'll check it out
The concept of this show is great.
