I glanced down at my wheel on my Vulcan today as I was walking away and seen the part with the hole and though " What the !?" I thought the bolt fell out of it cause I knew the hole had to be there for a reason. Glad I found this video clarify its there to hold the bar in place when removing the wheel. 😅
For anyone wondering, my 07 vulcan 900 custom used a size 6 Allen wrench, and a 15/16 6 point socket.

What sizes did you use to remove the nut and the also the Allen wrench?
I'm sure you've found an answer by now, but for anyone else searching, my 07 vulcan 900 custom used a size 6 Allen wrench, and a 15/16 6 point socket.
Thanks!!!
Thanks, good job!
You're welcome.
No break?
The rotor slips right out of caliper. Just push rotor back in when re-attaching wheel.
Good video, thanks
Watched the front fork video before this one, lol. I bet the wheel hasn't been removed since then. 👍🏻😁
Just this spring, when I replaced the tires. :)
@@muddyfences5559 If you don't mind me asking how many miles you have on your custom are those the original tires??
@@donotneed1 It has about 15k. About 400 of those are on the new tires. I think they were original, but I'm the second owner so I can't be certain.
Ah not complete, what about the brake? front, ???? did not show us how you removed that??
Good video. Thanks
You're welcome.
