What is your favorite item from Ruth's Chris?
The desserts!!! Not that impressed with the food or sides. Maybe the apps were good. I prefer Rustic Kitchen if you have one.
Bone-in filet mignon med-rare is my fav! I disagree with your review of the lobster Mac ‘n cheese. Tons of lobster and just the right amount of richness. Too many places make it ultra-rich to the point of inedible.

NY Strip and 11 oz Filet for the meats, Creamed Spinach n Lobster Mac for the sides and Chocolate Sin Cake n Bread Pudding for dessert options.
I have never heard of Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.
All too often my favorite restaurant is my own kitchen.
Their NY Strip and 11 oz Filet with either Bread Pudding or Chocolate Sin Cake for dessert are my favorites. Love RC.

Where is just the straight filet mignon? I know Ruths Chris restaurants can very quality by location but the last one I had in my city you didn’t need a knife you could cut it with just a fork…it was amazing.
Filet mignon has always been my favorite cut of steak, but steak people always point out that it lacks marbling, thus is much less flavorful...To each his own. 🙂
Sharing a steak with ANYONE works only if both people agree on doneness. I wouldn't share a steak with my friend (she likes it well done), and I like it medium rare.
It works with a bone in like a tbone. Outer portions are more well done
I found this review of RCSH to be interesting and quite funny. She touched on just about every dish from appetizers, salads to entrees on down to the steaks AND desserts! Pretty much saying, just go for the steaks, this is what the restaurant is best known for. I get it. Thank you for the review. When I go, I know what I'm NOT having! Lol

I love a really fresh Wedge Salad. Longhorn used to serve an excellent Wedge Salad I ordered every time we went there.
I do disagree strongly on how this video put down the bread pudding and strip cut, which are both amazing in flavor here. The strip was the founder's favorite here as well. However, I do agree with the video basically saying the chocolate sin cake is fantastic.

We thought the shoestring fries as a side dish at the Pikesville, MD, location were fantastic.
The filet mignon was disappointing.
It’s great to try something different,and ever side dish is going to be a hit of the park.but stick what you do best steak,cook it right with the right ingredients flavor color and keep that tastes that’s the people love,desert is up to you.look at the best cuts before ordering,your cuts of meat and late the chef who you want it cooked.

I find it disconcerting when folks go to a steak house and not order beef, it's like going to an Indian restaurant and rejecting all forms of curry dishes!
Maybe the steak is too expensive for them?
If I'm by myself at a steakhouse, I'm ordering a steak. But maybe my spouse or other guest doesn't care for beef (though I don't understand that).
My wife eats beef, but not seafood, and on our honeymoon trip to New England she encouraged me to order a whole lobster at a seaside restaurant while she ordered something else (maybe or probably a steak).

Lamb Chops are in no way gamey. They come from farm raised lamb and have a delicious savory flavor that is better than beef.
I say they can both taste about the same in greatness, but I can agree that really good lamb is not exactly gamey.

I'm planning a night at Ruth's Chris soon to celebrate me completing a 40 days and 40 nights water fast. I thought for sure that the tomahawk was the go to steak I will be ordering. BUT, when I saw that Porterhouse, I IMMEDIATELY knew that was THE ONE.
Question I have is, I always see the Porterhouse already cut up like in the video, so is this something that Ruth's Chris does when presented to you?
Also, I can see myself ordering the ravioli and spicy shrimp as appetizers, and the cheesecake as dessert. Will decide on the sides soon. I want to have my order decided before I actually make the visit.
And for those wondering, it's day 30 and I've lost 40lbs, no loose skin, and I have maintained most of my muscle. The key is hydration and ketosis.

I couldn't watch much of this. I understand the warning of less delectable items and I hope there are some good items focused upon but I couldn't make it that far for all the negativity. Why not mix up some good reviews with the bad? This was depressing at 5 minutes in, enough.
This video is only one day old and already out of date a couple items aren’t even on the menu anymore.
