She gave of her soul when she sang. Oh how it saddens me that she's gone. I'm so thankful that we have these recordings. It saddens me to think of all the voices that weren't recorded over the years because of jealousy and stupidity a.k.a racism. If those people blinded by their bigotry would go into a quiet area and listen to her sing they could be healed of that poison in their souls.
