Terry’s combo into level 1 not killing at around 4:27 was honestly absurd. I can’t argue with that. Although his corner pressure is insane, so it makes up for his damage in some matchups I think.
@@maxjones2704I think it would’ve if the crack shoot was delayed a bit. Even still, that WAS pretty wild. It feels like anyone else would’ve killed, especially the last couple of DLC characters we’ve gotten.
@@maxjones2704 It was unoptimal, ways to make it optimal would be: letting both hits of 5HP hit before drive rush cancelling, going into 5MK instead of 2MP if it's going to burn out, as 5MK will combo into 5HP as well and does 100 more dmg, and timing to get all three hits of Crack Shoot. Though there was certainly a route where he ended in Medium Charge instead of Heavy, which would combo into Power Geyser but with the right combo Buster Wolf would've definitely killed.
I'm not a pro player nor close to it, in fact im barely platinum with terry. But one thing I noticed is thay his cr. mk + hk tc is a move their using a bit wrong when its blocked. Even when you drive rush afterwards, an Ex Dp stuffs it. I think they should try to follow it up with Quick Burn to make it safe in that instance. Sure youre giving your turn, but its better than spending meter to eat a dp for it.
They are trying to hit confirm it. If they miss they go into drive rush to keep safe. Canceling to quick burn is minus 5 so you are still getting punished this is the safest route
I think terry is stronger on reads he get some long combo. I'm not convinced he needs to rely drive in every instance, and his power geyser should have been level one but for balance purposes I get it

@@RandomPerson28337 the issue is that even after drive rush into nothing is still counter punished by an Ex Dp.
