An Attempt to Fix Binding Rear Brakes on 1976 GL1000

The rear brakes on my 76 GL1000 are binding. When I press the pedal, the calipers press the pads against the rotor but then do not release. The brake pads continue to pinch the rotor causing drag and heat.

Great stuff. I have the same bike with the same issue. Would have liked to see you service the rear master cylinder too!

Len, I'd be interested to see how you get your bike up using that bike lift. I need one too, but was concerned about the stability of the bike on the lift. Thanks
