Ig: @fagerdam I use the Hobonichi Cousin as a journal, not a planner. It took some time to find my way of using it. I got the new english version for next year.
I got the same cover for my best friend, who's moving to Europe this year, as a gift. One of my twin daughters also picked that cover in A6 for her 2023 journal. In short we all love that cover. Great choices and I hope you enjoy that gorgeous tweed weeks cover! 🥰
Thank you for showing these, I’m getting the A5 day free for journaling with the same cover, for the first time, and I was worried my non-tiny handwriting wouldn’t work in a hobonichi, but you give me hope ❤
This was very informative- thank you! I’m currently waiting on my first Hobonichi order (Weeks for planning and an A6 notebook with cover for journaling, as well as a 5 year journal). Seems like you really figured out what works best for you. And I agree about rants being in notebooks that vmcan be thrown away :)
@@fagerdam I saw that you also have the mauve tweed zip cover. Does that fit the weeks and even more things inside? I wanted it but wasn't sure how tight the fit was, if I could jam my phone in there as well or not?!
Don't throw away all your ranting! It can be an amazing indicator of the progress you're making! I'm a therapist so I see it all from a growth perspective.
No everything wont go. There was a lot of repetition in those journals, like I had to write the same thing again and again to make it stick, so throwing some of it is more than ok. Add to that my awful handwriting that made it pretty much unreadable 😂🙈
That’s nice; I like that the cousin lets you enjoy your journal’s finish more than just books of ranting; which is good if you need it; but into perpetuity it becomes “what IS all this??? Do I want to fill the shelf like this?? I also have a cover with pleather; I made an exception for a cover, and I kind of regret it. It “looks” like it does not should not have Leather design-wise, so idek why they put it. I think the look of the inside (which you see mostly/the whole time you are using the book) is possibly the most important point of the cover. But it’s easy to overlook that! Thanks for sharing your new covers/how you use your Cousin!

Happy to hear that! ❤️

I don’t dare trying the 5 year journal, that sounds like too much of a commitment for me 😄😅
I got the same cover and a5 english cousin for journaling as well! Got a dupe this year and regret it so back to hobonichi!
Hope you enjoy your Hobonichi!

No it wont fit a lot more, I don’t think you can fit a phone there
@@fagerdam thanks for replying! Good to know!

I always consider the colour of the inside when I buy covers!
TFS & Happy Hobonichi Season 😊📙🖌
Thank you!
Greetings from Ukraine 🇺🇦! Thank you for your support!💓💞💖💗
I’m thinking about you every day 💙💛💙💛💙💛💙💛
Thanks for sharing your ideas with Cousin. I am a Weeks planner person and trying the Cousin for some art journaling, colleges and watercoloring.
That sounds like a great plan!
Thank you for sharing. Does the weekly pages in the English version have the moon phases?
No I see no moon phases.
The difference between the my 100 is a difference between previous year and this year, not between the English and the Japanese. I am pretty sure.
ohno the grid is so much more darker this time! Does it bother you are is it ok off camera? You have a very nice selection of covers. :)
No it doesn’t bother me.
