    I really like the segmented sections. I use the cousin as a health tracker / appointment keeper. The sections are very easy to fill out and helps me stay consistent in filling it out every week.

      Yes! The segmentation just matches with how my brain works!

    And to answer your question, I'd love to see flip thrus of your older Cousins, especially your first ever one would be interesting to see! I'm using the Midori cover for my first cousin this year and I'm so glad to see that it can still fit even once there's a full year in there!
    Love the different weekly layouts you showed in this video, gives me some great ideas. I've been using something similar to your simple stickers layout, kinda Lindsey Scribbles style because I'm using the weeklies more as a memory keeper that I fill in at the end of the day, so it works for me. Only issue is making sure I don't go too sticker crazy and then it looks way too busy and I can't see anything later when I look back on it. 😂

      I'm tempted to try using the Cousin as a memory keeper as a bit of a trial as I do like how it looks in Lindsey's layouts.

    Thank you for sharing this - it was really useful. I love my Hobonichi, but I am keen to make the weekly section more useful. At the moment I use an equivalent of your "categories" layout, but I am keen to try your "alistair" layout and see how that goes.

    Omg I TOTALLY agree about how flexible the Hobonichi layouts are! In fact I was just reflecting on that this past week.
    Bit of a long story but I thought you'd enjoy hearing this.. I actually have just managed to convert my non-planner best friend into loving a Hobo Weeks!!! (I'm pretty proud lol) I added one to my first ever hobonichi order last September bc I figured it had a lot of things she'd love about it, especially since she loves tiny things and it's such a great size for taking it with you in your bag. (turns out she's actually taking it with her to work and even using it on the go! I had low expectations since I know she's not a planner, so I was super happy to hear that!)
    Previously I'd tried to introduce her to bullet journaling but she has no time or interest in creating the layouts (tbh I've gone off that too now). Anyways, it was so much fun to give her the Weeks for Christmas and we chatted last week and she was telling me all about how she's using it and loving how versatile it is! And she's fallen in love with the paper too (I mean... who wouldn't, right!?) Super satisfying to listen to her excitement over the Weeks when she has never before loved planners or planning!
    In fact she's already talking about looking forward to the September release and maybe check out the zippered covers for the Weeks 😂 The Hobonichis truly have a powerful ability to hook people, apparently even (former) non planners! 😂💖

      OMG I love this! I love converting people into planners! Sadly I haven't had as much success as you though! Maybe I should start buying people Hobonichis!

      @@lethbridgepaper haha you totally should do it! Hobonichi FTW 👍 I never thought this would work since my friend is quite anti-planners and someone who hasn't really planned ahead much. So I think that says a lot about how amazing the Hobonichi is that she's not only using it but actually LOVING it! 😁❤️ Glad you enjoyed hearing my success story 😊

    This was really nice and helpful thank you. Im in a cousin at the moment for both work (2 jobs) and kids and dividing the days into sections really is a nice way to keep track without stuff overflowing from one thing to the next.

    This is really helpful! I have my very first (spring) Cousin on the way so I'm trying to figure out exactly how I want to use it. So, this seems like a dumb question but I keep watching videos and I can't figure it out - if you keep appointments and tasks on your weekly pages, what do you use your daily pages for?

    • @lethbridgepaper
      @lethbridgepaper  3 роки тому

      I'm so glad this was helpful for you! So I use my daily pages in a few different ways. Generally they're used for collections, bullet journal style. I do use them sometimes for daily planning (mainly weekend days when I'm not working) and so there is some duplication from my weekly pages on there, but generally I expand on tasks and my day in my dailies. If that makes sense? I share a few of my dailies on my IG (lethbridgecards) if you want to see them in a bit more detail but I'll probably be uploaded a video about daily planning soon! :)
