3 Octopus Guard Wrestling Up Attacks | Sumi Gaeshi | Wrestlers Switch

This is part two of our latest two part Octopus Guard series. In this video we cover how to wrestle up from our previous body lock pass counters while using the Octopus Grip which then chains into 3 Attack options: A Standing Butterfly Sweep to take side control or mount, a Harai Goshi Throw, and a Wrestlers Switch to attack the back.

These techniques are great! The harai goshi looks a little bit more like an osoto gari as you reap the outer leg instead of loading them on your hip like a harai.
