THank you man i;ve had that printer for years now and it finally works
I live in Saudi Arabia, so if wanted to get a very good HP printer to print high quality photos that is compatible with my MacBook Pro, which one should I buy.
Please notice i'm not looking to buy a printer to print images that will look blurry etc.... Also not looking to print large photos. Just the regular size photo (don't remember what size it is)

@@HPSupport I have a C4780, and there is no Align Cartridge option. When I fit a new black cartridge it goes through the procedure of printing and scanning an alignment page, but because the print out is not good, the printer says it cannot detect the alignment page. It just sends you round in circles. I have never known such a weird printer!
You may need to clean and re insert the cartridges. Are these genuine HP cartridges? Have they been refilled? I am an HP employee.

By "print clear", are you saying there is no ink displayed on the paper when printing? Please provide more information so I may further assist you. I am an HP employee.

It sounds like the printer has been completely uninstalled on your Mac. Please try installing the full feature software and drivers for the printer onto your Mac. Please search for C02030505 on HP’s home page or using Google search. The title of the document is “Installing the Printer Software in Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard for a USB Connection”. It will walk you through installing the software onto your Mac. I would recommend following Method One in the document.
yes it start printing. but the paper come out clear, NO INK, on it, and i have 2 full cartridges i used it once before and it was fine, so i am not sure what am missing here .. any idea?

@uzz54 It seems you might be experiencing is an issue with the black #60 cartridge. Try the steps in this video, ua-cam.com/video/-hK6JNFNdaU/v-deo.html If you still are experiencing the issue after following the video, try a new cartridge.
i HOPE you can help me. My printer ONLY wants to scan i need to print and nothing. ONLY can print the report page
I bought C4780 printer from UK. now I shifted to India and want to regionalise the printer. I dont have old cartridges (From UK) is there any way I can regionalise without old cartridges? I have new Indian cartridges which does not work, I dint know at the time of buying :( please help..

Please call our technical support at 800-474-6836. If you live outside the US/Canada Region please go to Google search and enter 'contact HP worldwide'. Your first option should be the site for contacting HP, when you click on it you will be prompted to choose your country/region. When you call please let them know that you need the printer regionalized.
