Henry Ford also had a newspaper he owned at the time called The Dearborn Independent where he published his own antisemitic beliefs about Jewish people before WW2.

I'm from Dearborn, Michigan, where Henry Ford lived. You can still visit his mansion off Michigan Avenue & read the letter he sent praising Hitler for his work "extinguishing" jews. He also sold fuel only German aircraft used.

He didn’t invent the automobile but he basically made it accessible for the average person. His main idea was that the average person working in his plants should be able to afford one of his cars. And with the automobile being the transformative force that it was for society, it means he gets a lot of praise as one of the people that moved society forward. Terrible people can do great things.

First ones to invent the automobile were Banz and Daimler in the same year in different parts of Germany. Funnily the two never met each other

You know who else supported hitler during WW2? The Dassler brothers, who owned Dassler Bros Shoes....after the war and they got out of prison, the brothers hated each other, split their company down the middle and Adolf 'Adi" Dassler started "Adidas" and Rudolph Dassler started Ruda, which he quickly realized it sounded stupid and changed the name to "puma"

9:40..... in ring? Hulk Hogan! Out of the ring? Hossien Khosrow Ali Vaziri (ring name Iron Sheik)
Khosrow Vaziri was a bodyguard for the Shah of Iran in the late 1960s, Mohammed Reza Pahlavi. He left Iran after his mentor was "mysteriously" found dead after criticizing the Shah.
Khosrow was on Iran's Roman-Greco wrestling team for the 1968 Summer Olympics. Eventually immigrating to the US, and becoming assistant coach for the US for the 1972 Olympics in Munich.
From the interviews I've seen? He was a good guy! Sadly, Hossien Khosrow Ali Vaziri (Iron Sheik) passed away in 2023 at the age of 81.

I believe Karl Benz gets the credit for inventing the first gas powered automobile...Henry Ford did offer a new way of manufacturing a large number of vehicles. This method of production was the moving assembly line.

Eli Whitney invented the assembly line in the late 1700s to mass-produce muskets. Whitney's idea was to use machinery to create interchangeable parts for guns, with each machine making a specific part that would then be assembled with other parts. This eliminated the need for highly trained craftsmen.

In Germany, Ford's The International Jew, the World's Foremost Problem was published by Theodor Fritsch, founder of several antisemitic parties and a member of the Reichstag. In a letter written in 1924, Heinrich Himmler described Ford as "one of our most valuable, important, and witty fighters". Ford is the only American mentioned favorably in Hitler's autobiography Mein Kampf. Adolf Hitler wrote, "only a single great man, Ford, [who], to [the Jews'] fury, still maintains full independence ... [from] the controlling masters of the producers in a nation of one hundred and twenty millions." Speaking in 1931 to a Detroit News reporter, Hitler said "I regard Henry Ford as my inspiration," explaining his reason for keeping a life-size portrait of Ford behind his desk. Steven Watts wrote that Hitler "revered" Ford, proclaiming that "I shall do my best to put his theories into practice in Germany", and modeling the Volkswagen Beetle, the people's car, on the Model T. Max Wallace has stated, "History records that ... Adolf Hitler was an ardent Anti-Semite before he ever read Ford's The International Jew." Ford also paid to print and distribute 500,000 copies of the antisemitic fabricated text The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Historians say Hitler distributed Ford’s books and articles throughout Germany, stoking the hatred that helped fuel the Holocaust.

Movie stars, US politicians, business tycoons etc all played a part in some way shape or form. Not all nazi/progressive supporters were antisemitic but it was a trendy thing before ww2
