Henry Ford also had a newspaper he owned at the time called The Dearborn Independent where he published his own antisemitic beliefs about Jewish people before WW2.
And that's why Hitler had a picture of him in his office.
They were sadly extremely common views in America at the time.
I'm from Dearborn, Michigan, where Henry Ford lived. You can still visit his mansion off Michigan Avenue & read the letter he sent praising Hitler for his work "extinguishing" jews. He also sold fuel only German aircraft used.
the way ford gets talked and taught about here, you’d think he invented the car. i thought that for a long time
who cares
@@chrisvibz4753 they were talking about it tf😭
@@JoeyVatavuk lmfao sorry im just a salty bitch bro🤣🤣🤣🤣
He didn’t invent the automobile but he basically made it accessible for the average person. His main idea was that the average person working in his plants should be able to afford one of his cars. And with the automobile being the transformative force that it was for society, it means he gets a lot of praise as one of the people that moved society forward. Terrible people can do great things.
First ones to invent the automobile were Banz and Daimler in the same year in different parts of Germany. Funnily the two never met each other
@OB Dave Reacts --> Appreciate the content. The eye contact with the camera when peter was talking about the 19 guys from 9/11 😂🤣
You know who else supported hitler during WW2? The Dassler brothers, who owned Dassler Bros Shoes....after the war and they got out of prison, the brothers hated each other, split their company down the middle and Adolf 'Adi" Dassler started "Adidas" and Rudolph Dassler started Ruda, which he quickly realized it sounded stupid and changed the name to "puma"
Y'all reaction to the Brown-Simpson joke was elite!😂😂
9:40..... in ring? Hulk Hogan! Out of the ring? Hossien Khosrow Ali Vaziri (ring name Iron Sheik)
Khosrow Vaziri was a bodyguard for the Shah of Iran in the late 1960s, Mohammed Reza Pahlavi. He left Iran after his mentor was "mysteriously" found dead after criticizing the Shah.
Khosrow was on Iran's Roman-Greco wrestling team for the 1968 Summer Olympics. Eventually immigrating to the US, and becoming assistant coach for the US for the 1972 Olympics in Munich.
From the interviews I've seen? He was a good guy! Sadly, Hossien Khosrow Ali Vaziri (Iron Sheik) passed away in 2023 at the age of 81.
Cool.. thanks for the info.Shiek was the man!
That first one IS like an office setting. As soon as a person who isn't a man comes along to a join in, the men scatter. As they should if they like their jobs.
WOW!! did you two start watching the video before the one minute mark?? but you made up for it at the end!! I like your banter in each reaction..
Henry Ford wrote a book entitled "The International Jew."
I believe Karl Benz gets the credit for inventing the first gas powered automobile...Henry Ford did offer a new way of manufacturing a large number of vehicles. This method of production was the moving assembly line.
Henry Ford invented the modern assembly line which allowed them to produce the cars quickly and efficiently.
He did not invent it. He was the first to put it into practice in automotive manufacturing.
Eli Whitney invented the assembly line in the late 1700s to mass-produce muskets. Whitney's idea was to use machinery to create interchangeable parts for guns, with each machine making a specific part that would then be assembled with other parts. This eliminated the need for highly trained craftsmen.
@joedufour8188 aCtUAlLy **pushes up glasses** Even the automotive assembly line was first produced by Oldsmobile not Ford. It just never got it big as Ford's did.
Ford was also a weird occultist Nazi sympathizer and all around piece of crap.
They built a lot of military equipment for Germany in WW-2
*🎉🎉love when you guys react to comedy!! Whether its family guy, bill burr, key&peele, stand up etc. Its the best!!*
Ngl Im just out here strokin my shit in this Wendy’s restaurant 😊😊
In Germany, Ford's The International Jew, the World's Foremost Problem was published by Theodor Fritsch, founder of several antisemitic parties and a member of the Reichstag. In a letter written in 1924, Heinrich Himmler described Ford as "one of our most valuable, important, and witty fighters". Ford is the only American mentioned favorably in Hitler's autobiography Mein Kampf. Adolf Hitler wrote, "only a single great man, Ford, [who], to [the Jews'] fury, still maintains full independence ... [from] the controlling masters of the producers in a nation of one hundred and twenty millions." Speaking in 1931 to a Detroit News reporter, Hitler said "I regard Henry Ford as my inspiration," explaining his reason for keeping a life-size portrait of Ford behind his desk. Steven Watts wrote that Hitler "revered" Ford, proclaiming that "I shall do my best to put his theories into practice in Germany", and modeling the Volkswagen Beetle, the people's car, on the Model T. Max Wallace has stated, "History records that ... Adolf Hitler was an ardent Anti-Semite before he ever read Ford's The International Jew." Ford also paid to print and distribute 500,000 copies of the antisemitic fabricated text The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Historians say Hitler distributed Ford’s books and articles throughout Germany, stoking the hatred that helped fuel the Holocaust.
I love Ash's laugh. ❤
Calm down she's taken
Carl Benz invented the car I believe.
At the same time as Daimler, they both invented the automobile independently from each other in different parts of Germany.
I think Ford invented the “assembly line” for mass production of Ford vehicles.
Good video, btw! You guys are great together!
3:42 The problem with Ford not knowing was that even if he did know, he'd approve.
Diseny helped to fight against the nazis because he was a patriot, not becase he was against antisemitism. In fact he was a big supporter
I could have sworn Dave said he didn't like Budweiser in a office blokes episode
Henry Ford = assembly line, that's what he really pioneered
It's said that Disney suppostivly hated kids as well
OB Dave = Orange Beard Dave
I don't know all the facts about Henry Ford but I have heard stuff like that before this joke
Fords were painted black because it was the fastest drying paint available.
Ash wears the coolest T-shirts.
Thanks!
There were many autos prior to Ford and Benz, including steam and electric powered, but fuel cars were created well prior to Ford and Benz.
If I'm not mistaken wasn't the Stanley steem car the first American made car
Hippomobile my favourite, 1863
The nazi thing was a popular trendy progressive thing back in the day. Some were actually antisemitic, but many were just trying to be 'trendy'. Movie stars, US politicians, business tycoons etc all played a part in some way shape or form. Not all nazi/progressive supporters were antisemitic but it was a trendy thing before ww2
Great reaction!
Considering how chauvinistic Peter is, I always wondered: How the heck did he get married to Lois and how does their marriage last?
Ask to Seth McFarlane 😁
I mean she is not really a catch as well. She's a horrible person and they kind of deserve each other
Olds invented the car. Oldsmobile
Henry Ford invented the car? Google to the rescue...
…so you got something to look at while you’re talking to them 😄
My man Ron!
It's like they used 20 clips from the same episode.
Walt Disney built theme parks for access to kids. He was a monster!
Easy there Micheal Jackson....we all know you're still the king
Of child molestation 😂❤😂
14:54. Don't forget that IBM developed the accounting system that allowed the Nazi's to efficiently oversee the extermination of millions of 'untnrmenchen'. US corporate influence...
13:42 Karl Benz first car in 1896 I believe
Mr. Otto was the first. Hint: ottomobile
It was in 1886 but it was Opel that was the first car brand in 1862
Hey... you watched one Lynard Skynard video... but you missed their best song and is ranked as one of the greatest rock songs ever equal to Stairway to Heaven. Try *Freebird* 1977 Oakland Coliseum live performance. PS - Dave, do NOT show Ash *The Righteous Brothers Unchained Melody* . She'll fall in love and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it!
Great reaction to a good compilation. But people don't understand what dark humor is. Most of that stuff was not dark humor.
I suggest you do some Adik_the_one TNTL challenges
Ford invented the assembly line . I think Duryea invented the car
Aside from being a well-known antisemite, he also ruthlessly suppressed labor/unions at his factories with violence.
If you own a bmw, Mercedes, Porsche or VW or I got some news for you Dave
you should try reacting movies
Yep Family Guy is hilarious but Family Guy's some things can cut a nerve and that occurs with any demographic Family Guy is roasting.
Check out Dave Chappelle's "the 4 times i met O.J.Simpson" Super hilarious!
The Disney jokes are WAY better knowing Disney bought family guy 😂
When you pause to comment...could you please start the show's dialogue, back a couple of seconds? Thanks!
Henry Ford was really big Supporter of the old mustached chancellor. I alot of progressives were. He got the idea for getting rid of Jews from the progressive movements eugenics teaching.
You missed the musli. Looney tunes videos
Ford made a nice motor vehicle and was definitely good at doing it, but he was out-and-out for the extermination of Jews
Dave - I don't know about Henry Ford and that money - but he WAS a very unapologetic antisemite.
You should watch Band of Brothers. Get a little perspective of what the Germans who lived around the camps knew. For Christ's sake, you could smell the burning flesh for miles.
You’re not wrong but also. If you’re a couple hundred villagers what are you going to do against what’s was one of the largest military powers in the world at the time. I don’t agree with everything the US military is doing but I also can’t do much to stop it.
Benz is credited with making the first automobile I think.
Channel is nothing more than to make more money. Because he had another channel but now he’s not a part of it because he’s going to school so what is this channel for because he has seen most of the videos that he showing to his girlfriend? it’s just feels like a repeat, and it feels like he’s showing the same old videos for money and money.
😂😂😂
👍👍
Ash is very cute and sexy, but don't take her advice on spelling 🇺🇸❤️
It's true about Henry Ford. Check out IBM and how they had 'dibs' as well.
Man, you're girl Dave has great teeth. Very not British teeth I might add.
