I never found the ring when deliberately searching for it. I smashed open a few barrels in skull cavern, while in a blind rage. My friends saw the ring on the ground. Everyone screamed. I screamed. The ring screamed.
Enjoying the video a lot and that log out at the end kinda sad since my friend said " im gonna log out ill see you tomorrow " and its been like 4 years hope he doin well, and all of you guys too
i lost it when he started to mimic the lucky ring voice :') but honestly this is the best series of stardew valley and i even felt a little bit sad when it ended... good job youve worked hard on this!
I gotta say, your editing does not go unnoticed! Your sounds and comedic timing is perfect! Thank you for taking so much time and care when making these videos! 👍👍
I feel bad watching you struggle so much to get that Lucky Ring... In my current playthrough, first time I landed on Ginger Island, there was a panning spot at the bridge.. and what do you know... Lucky Ring. IM SORRY I THOUGHT ABOUT YOU WHEN I GOT IT D:
Haven’t watched the vid yet but I have around 300 hours and just a week ago got 2 in a single day on the island with max daily luck + eel + ginger ale. Had those for the volcano but I hit up the digsite otw there and back from parrots, got it there otw and back.
Thank you so much for this series, honestly probably one of my favorite ones on UA-cam. You're super funny and you genuinely seem to put a lot of love and effort into your content, it's incredible. I'm sure we're all gonna miss Panning with Poxial™, however, I am excited for more future videos from you 💖💕
This was such a great end to the series! I’m so happy we got that last bit of closure at the end, and honestly all your commentary is incredible. If you were ever to make a regular playthrough video series or just stream it I’d love to follow along!
Im still prrtty new to the game, havent even been playing a year, i have 2 save files, 1 on my xbox and one on my computer, i dont ever play on my xbox, but on my computer file i am so much further because of the things i have learned from watching your videos
My first time completing perfection and I was stuck on the exact same golden walnut as you. I was laughing about that. You can get the lucky ring breaking open barrels and crates in skull cavern. I've found several that way and never once found it panning. Thank you for a wonderful series! I'm glad you achieved perfection =)
I was trying to remember where I found mine because I distinctly remember NOT having the patience while trying to pan that stream but I had gotten multiple ones because I tried combing them with different rings. You have reminded me that I did get them in the volcano. I hadn’t played in almost a year as I got obsessed with Terraria, but I always come back to SDV. I’ve got a truly ridiculous amount of hours in it but it kept me sane during the pandemic so can’t regret it. It was really bugging me (not being able to remember), so thanks for that. And grats on Perfection.
im playing multiplayer with my friends & randomly stumbled upon the lucky ring in the mines and FREAKED OUT. my friends didnt get why at all but i thought to myself ''POXIAL WOULD GET IT''
I've never experienced Stardew Valley Before and i found this Series, i dont think its a game is anything id play but watching you is a lot of fun and this series has made my day each day it came out, so thanks :)
I hated panning in that river for lucky rings. I always go after them in the crates and barrels in Skull Cavern, which tends to be much more consistent.
I haven't started to even play Stardew Valley, but I stumbled into your channel and I have to say that I love this series! You've made me want to start playing it and have fun with it!
This series has honestly inspired me to try to achieve perfection on my Year 7 farm that I've had since 2016. I'm about halfway there, since I've been playing casually up until now, but I'm excited to play again :)
I recently stumbled upon this series and I binged watched all of the videos at one sitting. The amount of effort to make this series is outstanding. Keep up the good work my dude!
Loved those episodes! Your commentary is funny and relaxing, your editing is really nice, makes everything feel smooth. Hope you will do more stardew content in the future ❤
I started playing SV right after it was released on steam but didn't achieve true perfection, I started several farms over the years without ever going that far, but watching the first two episodes of your series made me want to do it so I did it before watching this episode, thanks for giving me the push I needed to grind what I needed to finally finish the game, going to the summit for the first time is pretty emotionnal I must say !
i have been waiting for this!!! i might attempt the perfection myself at my own pace but actually seeing you finish it was so satisfying, they're all very entertaining as well as i can't sit and watch a long video for shit so i'm really happy and proud of you!
I bought this game 2 weeks ago and my own personal journey to perfection was accompanied by intermittent viewings of this series. I just loved the combination of things that I experienced exactly the same way, things that were wildly different and things I learned and could incorporate in my own run (which took around 350 days, although I did rely on the external tools to keep track of nasty recipes and cheese geodes while wasting the first 2 seasons simply learning the game, which included accidentally gifting hated crap to passers by^^). What I do find interesting is how many good players have this obsession with the skull caverns. Without the forest of Crystallariums (just having 2 - the free one and the one you need to craft for perfection anyways) means you save so much on iridium that you don't have to go down that much that quickly. The 300 days time frame gives you 74 days with Grandpas statue which covers the vanity stuff (obelisks, watering can, axe) and the specks you get before that without even trying are enough for the rest (keep in mind: Fridays at Krobus you can buy an iri sprinkler). A similar thing goes for prismatic shards (technically, one is enough for perfection, but a second for the sword is good to have) and radioactive ore (18 ores yields 3 bars and 3 ores which is all you need). In other words: Spending 52 iri bars for all that jade to get more iri is self defeating.
That’s so cool! I totally agree that the skull cavern isn’t that important, and that to have that many crystalariums may seem pointless but for me to fill up my time I thought it would be worth it, especially to have easy access to get Qi gems so I could purchase fun stuff from his store. But I totally agree, if you’re just going for perfection then you definitely don’t need that many 😆
@@Poxial What I forgot to give you credit for was the dual purpose of the crystalariums as gift-machines. A stack of diamonds is certainly easier to handle than alt-tabbing all the time to triple-check liked/loved gifts, although it should be noted that spring foragables (namely Daffodils, Salmonberries and Horseradish (Krobus)) cover 21 people as liked or loved - and with iridium quality (which at that point should be guaranteed), so starting the friendship push at the beginning of year 2 might take more real time (foraging, keeping track) but less in-game time (+50% from iridium quality in comparison with diamonds). Qi quests are a pain and having that easy completion is definitely very nice to have. Personally, I like having a strong gold economy and then just throwing money at problems ("Cuisine" is a loss of 66,700g for 25 gems, "Prismatic Grange" is 118,500g for 35 gems). The fish are super easy and the Qi beans were the worst torture I've ever endured in a video game. Funny story: I only reached level 100 in the skull caverns once and it was during the Qi challenge. I also had enough jade/staircases to complete the dangerous mines once - even with just 2 crystalariums.
This has been such a great series to watch and has really got me into this game so thankyou for the awesome content and showing how great stardew is! Can't wait to see what content is next also! :)
the end of panning with poxial was emotional and will stick with me for the rest of my life. it shows we can never always get what we want, no matter how hard we try. im glad that the meaning was totally intentional and not me reaching very hard.
And ... another great video!! Had lots of fun watching these on my own time. I know nothing about the game, it's been sitting in my steam library for many years, but this has been enough motivation to finally start my own farm when I find the time. You seem like a very heartwarming and kind person and I'm glad I stumbled across your 100 days video. Have a good day!
I wanted to share that I really enjoy your videos. I have played roughly 200 hours of Stardew but I never tried panning since I assumed it was a worse version of mining. But you inspired me to try panning for the first time. I went to the digsite as you did and... I got it on the first try. I just wanted to share since you were the catalyst to my panning journey, and my experience was so vastly different from yours. I am sad to see that the Panning with Poxial program has ended, but I have learned a lot. Thank you!
Just a heads up for future reference, if you need radioactive ore you don't need to have the danger in the deep quest active. If you go to the bottom of the mine there's a table thingy that you can use to toggle the mine between the hard mode and not hard mode.
@@Poxial gonna be honest, wasn't expecting a reply. Not sure why I wasn't expecting one... But it sure as hell confused me when I saw one. Maybe I should actually get some sleep... Nah sleep is for non programmers
you so quickly became my favorite stardew content creator with this series and i'm so happy to see it come to such a fine conclusion! screw that lucky ring tho
After watching the 200 days video I started to pan for the lucky ring ... and I got one after 2 weeks (in game). Got a second one right now. I am so sorry for you Poxial, I wish I could Gift you this second lucky ring :( wish you all the luck for whenever you are panning again :)
Like always a great Video! You did it, next Milestone 20k. GOOD JOB! Beside that I think for Decoration, there should be a shorter Grass Version. The tall Grass does not fit most of the Time.
hey man i don't really do comments on video, but this is one of the best series i have ever seen. as someone who's new to stardew this taught me so much and i can't wait for more of your content. have a great rest of your day Poxial!

Panning with Poxial is 10x funnier for me since I found the lucky ring on my literal first time using the Copper Pan.
No need to rub it in 😆😆
I found it on my second :)
I always find mine in Skull Cavern lmao
i found it on my first too
I've found three, one in the normal mines, one in skull cavern and one in the volcano mines... I didnt even know you could get by panning
I never found the ring when deliberately searching for it.
I smashed open a few barrels in skull cavern, while in a blind rage. My friends saw the ring on the ground.
Everyone screamed.
I screamed.
The ring screamed.
That sounds amazing 😂
by far the best 100 days in stardew valley series on youtube
Faxs
Nothing to add
Debatable, Redtm has also a great 100 days series but Modded
So hyped! Can't wait to see our favourite segment of.... PANNING! WITH! POXIAL!
Hey. You want to go to the woods. With just me 😏 Were going panning!
I always think the same thing 😂
The fact u don’t reset a day when something goes wrong gives me a whole other level of respect for you 🥰
We’ll just not mention the pomegranate tree🫡
I problem solve on the fly 😆
@James Witte what pomegranate tree? Nothing happened with the pomegranate tree, poxial totally didn’t accidentally destroy it
@@Poxial it would be such a pain if you had had to reset on the pomegranate tree tho huh?
