Yeah, supposedly they improved low light performance with the One X2. Wouldn't know for sure how much they improved it though. The One X probably still does a good job

Great video man, very well done. and gave me some idea's.. for my car I should be using my GoPro Max.
instead of using the mic adapter, get an external recorder like a "zoom" and you will have superior sound quality and no wires. Synching audio is simple with a couple claps.
I like the accessories, to bad GoPro pretty much ignores us motovloggers.

Thanks, man! I actually can't give you my personal opinion on the GO 2 because I haven't gotten around to using it yet.
As for the ONE X2, I couldn't see myself using it as my main camera (I use a GoPro to record my motovlogs), but using it as a secondary camera to get footage of everything around me is what I'd mainly use it for. I can see this use being different on a case by case basis depending on the person though. Everything in this video is pretty much how I'd use it in real life too.

I was also wondering about whether there would be a need for another camera besides the X2 since it also does good FPV, but perhaps another action cam like the DJI Action or Insta360 One R would do the trick. I’ve heard good things about both those cameras, even more than the most recent GoPros. Seems like DJI and Insta360 have caught up to GoPro.

I've got one, it's a really impressive camera. Hopefully it will add to the shots I can achieve on my channel. I've had comments that turning the view angle too much while riding makes folks feel nauseous.
Yeah, it can be quite jarring if you're constantly changing angles, especially at a high rate of speed or too often. Everything looks better in moderation!

Thanks for the video, it was very helpful. For long motorcycle trips, can you externally power the camera for longer trips? and how long of a recording time will the 1TB hold?
Yes you can but then you'd see the wire from the charging port so it's probably best to bring a few batteries and the battery charger to plug into an external power bank or something. As for 1TB, it'll vary depending on what video mode you're recording. But it will definitely take a long time to fill up 1TB!

Hi Stan, I also use an Insta 360 ONE X2 (along with a GoPro HERO9) on my bike. I find it really frustrating that the Insta 360 discards the created date/time information (using both app and Studio software) . It makes editing the clips later in FCPX an organisational nightmare. How do you deal with this issue, any tips? Cheers

The camera I use here definitely is what I'd recommend. I have the ONE R as well and it just doesn't do as good as a job as the ONE X2. Maybe check out the Insta360 GO2 as well? I got links to them down below!

VERY GOOD review! Very well presented. There is one thing I noticed in your video that bothered me a bit. The camera's stick is visible in some shots and it looks like hair underneath the camera. However, I bet there is a way to make it completely invisible. I was impressed with the night shots in the mountain! Overall it's an awesome camera! The motorcycle kit is SOOO tempting!
Thanks, Bill! Haha let me answer that. Any time you saw that "hair", it was all user error. I got home that day and knew exactly what I did wrong but I was obviously not gonna go back out there and re-record the footage (because I'm lazy) 😂. But yeah, such an awesome camera! Get the kit 👀... 😆
