Fortissax should be the final boss instead of the Elden Beast when you do Fia's quest. His theme feels like a final boss, the ultimate challenge of the undeads, a Lich!
I was super focused into this boss fight to a point i really couldn't be bothered to listen to such a masterpiece of a track this is. Now that i finished the game,I got the real reward. The Pleasure of listening to the soundtrack.

Agreed. He should inflict death to all his attacks, red lightning should leave death clouds and become darker too. Now we are talking proper Lichdragon
Fitting because this is just how long phase 2 lasts when you're an underlevelled strength build and being very cautious about your hits! Makes it feel like it goes by a lot faster...
The shear scale of people who upload ONLY the first phases alone and call it a day, much less the amount that pair both phases of songs together, makes this upload a godsend

On my first go I was a (purposedly) dumb build of great shield, big armor, weird str-arcane mix (Mirai's exec sword), and I just kept attacking to kill it- unfortunately whenever I arrive here for Fia's questline, I'm too high level and the dragon fight just ends up being damage-trading.
I like to think this part of the theme is meant to capture the majesty of the of the ancient dragons flying upon Lyndell and the terrible might of the storm they wield
I really would like to have the lyrics. Since Elden Ring appears to be have much higher budget than DS3 so I hope they used actual choir like bloodborne instead of synthesized gibberish like dark souls 3

it's currently bugged, only had him start phase 2 once for me in 4 playthroughs of the game. Such a shame cause fortissax's phase 2 and the phase 2 theme are what define the boss, and almost no one gets to see them

But I agree, more moves with some high damage potential would do this boss good, I fought him recently intentionally underlevelled and it felt like I was able to just tank through the boss without learning it’s moveset, which never feels like a proper victory

nothing. she'll appear there by godwyn and tell u about the rune of death and the quest proceeds as normal. a big portion of her quest is actually optional. all u really need to do is ranni's questline up until u get one half of the rune of death and beat the boss at the end of farum azula (wont say the name incase someone who hasnt beaten the game or anything yet is reading this for some reason)
Fia's Quest. Exhausting her dialogue at the Prince of Death Throne (Grace) which is located in the Nameless Eternal City will allow you to enter the fight by talking to sleeping Fia. It is one of the underground areas where you find all this but Idon't exactly remember how you get there.

It’s in deproot depths, you can get there by resting in a coffin at Nokron

That's one path, you can also traverse past the twin gargoyles in Nokros(?) just a little trek after the mimic fight.
