Hi Devi..this entire series is not only fantastic but wonderful also in many a ways. Your detailed instructions and voice lend the practice mystical meditative feelings. It makes me so calm and focused and both mind n body flow so obediently with you. The liberties you give while doing a pose liberates the body n mind. The mental shackles are broken which traditional yoga instills in our minds that a pose is complete only when done in a particular manner. The uniqueness of body is not honoured. But you respect that aspect of human body and help shed that feeling of guilt. Thank you so much for helping us all in our endeavour to keep fit through your hard work and deep understanding. Wooooow. Came on the mat with clenched jaw, sore knee, monkey mind. I needed some time to get into the zone, but then I let me 'cradle' by your cues and the music, and the magic happened. Still sore knee, but mind apeased and jaw unclenched !

Perfection. Was feeling very low energy this Monday morning from a fun weekend playing outside. This practice left me fully opened and connected. My energy level has increased significantly - yet I’m feeling incredibly grounded. Awesome full body experience with seated breathing. Thank you ❤

Thank you! This practice made me feel weightless like a feather while lying on my back. I did the reclined dragon pose with leg straight holding a strap. I don't quite feel the strech in normal dragon pose anymore after practice yoga for a couple of years. It's also quite tedious sometimes, and requires lot of arm strength holding yourself up (and hard wrists like you said). Also I choose the figure four pose, although I don't feel that very much. But on the firelog/kneepile pose I feel absolutely nothing. Thank you for all the instructions on breathing. ❤
This is very interesting, Sonja! Upside down dragon with a strap is wonderful. I have used it in other videos. Since you aren't feeling much sensation in dragon and square, I am guessing you may have an unusually large range of motion in your hips, particularly hip extension and external rotation. In square, when you bend forward does your head go all the way to the floor? If so, you can try elevating your legs and feet a few inches, to see if that gives you a better stretch. It's hard to get a very strong stretch in figure four. Both poses stretch the glutes, and another alternative is sleeping swan. Hope you find something satisfying in there!
Well in square pose my knees are on the way, so I can only rest my head on the knees. My thighs are a little bigger so I cannot perfectly align them, but close enough. Yes I have used blocks under the seat in figure four sometimes. If the glute muscles are a bit thigh, then I would feel the figure four pose more. I feel the pigeon pose the most, but I have a bit love-hate relationship with it. The outer part of my thigh/hip doesn't reach the floor in pigeon, and I'm kind of balancing and need to rely a lot on my arms (so can't complete relax). I have noticed that I don't usually get the thight hips, that almost half of the yoga classes focus on. I don't know if this is related, but in dragon fly and frog pose I cannot open my hips that wide. Thank you for the long response. I usually read the comments after the class to see how other people found it like. Human body is quite interesting with all the anatomical variations.
Dearest Devi, This was another beautiful grounding practice. This is going to be a long comment because I am experiencing fear in my mind/body. I am in a kundalini awakening process. So little is known about this process in western medicine. I have had high blood pressure for awile because of the kundalini energy, my doctor is concerned and wants me to take high blood pressure medicine. There is an aspect of myself that is very frightened of taking this medicine...I have been trying to take it by first entroducing it to my body to see how my body feels about it, however, this is a new practice for me and the communication isn't clear. I have taken this medicine for three days now and each morning I get up very dizzy and unsteady. And I also experience these symptoms just being in kundalini, so I never know what's doing what , and I get extremely anxious and fearful. I am not clear what the fear is all about....I just don't trust pharmaceuticl drugs....I appreciate your listening just wanted to put this out into the universe and see what guidance I might receive. Thanks Devi....your yin yoga practice, I experience, as a very deep practice which leads me home and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I was able to breathe into the parts you suggested, not always, but many times and I was able to access the calm during meditation. Thank you for all the inner work you have done that then flows out to the world. Namaste'

I started taking my blood pressure daily, which I had never done because of fear, and it fell into a normal range three times so far. So I am good. Thanks for your support and compassion. Hi Anna, Om is often chanted as an opening or closing ritual to define the time we are dedicating to our practice. Chanting also causes vibrations in the body that can enhance your state of calm and wellbeing and relax your nervous system. ❤️

Deep relaxing session thank you .While we do yin yoga, shd we always inhale through our nose and exhale out through ah mouth, or its just inhale n exhale through ah nose.kindly guide. ❤
We generally breathe in and out through the nose in yin yoga, but it can be extra relaxing to exhale with a sigh through the mouth on occasion.
