It depends how long and how steep it is exactly. I have tackled a third category climb of 4.65km at 4.2% in 13m 44s. 20.3% on average. When I analyze that effort I get 20.5km/h on a 5.5% stretch. Mind you, I weigh 115kg..... It's simply a question of keep those pedals moving :-) The Strava segment is Pujada Bisbal-Juncosa del Montmell. Just hm, don't try to look for my name, you have to push the next page button a lot of times :-D (753 / 4860)
It is very understandable why he continues ride and wants to retire in his own terms…. Especially because of the crash….. but I wish someone could convince him to let it go…move on. Chris can contribute in other areas. His time as a rider, crash or no crash, has passed.
