Oh the natural look is absolutely beautiful!! You never cease to amaze me with your beautiful art!! Much love sweet baby and God bless!! Thank you so much for sharing!!❤️
for anyone who doesn't know the short and stout pine cones are from red pines and the longer ones he baked are from white pines! :) just mentioning for anyone who is thinking of where to forage pine cones, white and red often grow near each other but not always
I vote for the one you made. I like the natural look. The Dollar Tree pine cones topped it off. I will be making a Christmas tree myself. Thank you for the inspiration.
I always learn so much from your channel. This turned out great. I, too, pick up pine cones, but then I regret it, because of the sap. I, also, always end up getting a laugh from you, and you aren't even aware... You said...I got these out of A yard. I busted out laughing, I can see your neighbors, who have visitors over... Visitor: you have some strange guy exercising in your yard. Neighbor: Nah, that is just David, he is picking up pine cones. 😂 😂 😂
I never knew you had to clean pine cones. I've collected pine cones in the past but I never even thought of bugs being in them. Oh my goodness! Thank you!
@@DavidOwenCreates I don't know. I guess the sun melted the stickiness off or something because you know I usually keep my pine cones in my shed which is like a thousand degrees. So maybe that's it that you know bugs get killed off and the sap just melts off
DONT PAINT IT!!! It is so beautiful!!!! The little white comes really fast elevated the look!! I love it!!!!! It is way better than the target one! I have so many pine cones ( store bought lol) that I buy every year and never use. If I can I’ll give it a try. Hey I got the lights on the tree🎉🎉🎉🎉💖✌🏻
Ya I'm definitely not painting it! I love the natural look better on this project 😍 and the white little ones just popped in there I thought it was so cute! Thanks for your input!! I am happy you got the lights up!
You don’t find pine cones in Tucson. My sister is visiting me from Florida and she brought me some to do projects for fall and Christmas. Love your Christmas tree.
O please don't paint it.... its so pretty .... and original.... I am going to try it besides trying to sent them too..... thank you again for your help on how to do that too..
Absolutely no problem Vicky!! If you do any projects and wanna show me. Share them on your Instagram and follow me there. Same name davidowencreates! I love seeing everyone's projects and what they end up doing

I never knew you had to clean pine cones. I've collected pine cones in the past but I never even thought of bugs being in them. Oh my goodness! Thank you!
😲 oh my gosh. Well maybe you got lucky with those - the critters maybe froze but also how did you work with them being so sticky?

Oh that’s amazing she brought you some to craft with! Yay! That’s exciting!
Don't paint it! It looks better than the other one and goes really well with the rest of your Old English decor!
Looking good David👍
Thank you so much!! I love it natural and I did leave it 😌
Check out the difference in pine cones. Some never open to disperse their seeds unless there's a fire.
That’s interesting
💕
Just read the comments. Looks like it's unanimous 👍😜😜
