The minute Adam mentioned mystery boxes, my brain was immediately like "LAURA ASHLEY!!" Hahaha! I think that will live with me forever as well lol

This video was drawing characters inspired by the candles but I would love to see you design candles inspired by you guys!! Like a Steph and Adam candle!!

To make it artsy they can draw what the label for the candle would be!
Yaaay! New doodles and tea! Candles are so expensive so it's nice they provide budget purchasing options.
(Also "Re-Confort" is réconfort, a french word that pretty much means comfort)
Adam's character brought flashbacks of back in middle school when boys would "axe bomb" the hallways while everyone would go to classes and no one could escape. Even the teachers were sick of it

OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANOTHER CHARACTER DESIGN VIDEO, I remember tweeting to you about how I love seeing your processes and so- yayyyyy!
Also, I LOVE Yankee Candles. Fun fact: I grew up 20 minutes from their factory in Massachusetts as a young child. They had the real factory, but also a ginormous 'factory store' retail space that included a 'historical tour of candles' (some person(s) dressing up in 18th-19th century New England fashion and teaching you how to make dip candles by hand), a HUGE 'taste testing' room (or I guess smell room?) where you could sample and buy various sizes of ALL their current candle lineup (complete with cans of coffee placed about the room to clear your nose), and two themed areas you could relax in - a 'Bavarian Village' and 'Santa's Workshop'. Their factory is in a somewhat rural area, so for a kid like me, it was like Disneyland, just, I could go there every weekend if I asked my mom about it! Now I have the warm fuzzies from taking a nostalgia trip down memory land....I need a cup of tea.

Tea! Scented Candles! Character-design! Count me in So funny thou how Adam just kinda ignored the Promt (Again) his character kinda reminded me of those superherosonas you romantically collated on that one time. I woulda probably drawn a cute highschool boy in cosy knitwear with a tray of cupcakes ( maybe I will).

"Reconfort" is a word that means "a feeling of freedom from worry or disappointment". We used to go to Yankee Candle company when we were kids, it's fantastic fun. They have (or at least had, may not exist now, I'm old) this huge train room and this other room that was decorated to look like the night sky with all these like Xmas lights and dark blue sheets on the ceiling and it was really beautiful. And of course tons of candles. It was fantastic.

Loved the mystery candle idea. I’m drawing a hedgehog from an illuminated manuscript. Totally worth googling that. Scribes seemed to think hedgehogs spent their time carrying things around on their prickles. It’s so cute.

Just went to my art store in my town called joann and found stabilo fine pens for .99 cents each. Never though i could find something for a dollar in art stores and they have a lot of colors to choose from too. Nothing like pizza and drinking green tea with honey and doodle and tea for lunch.

Fruity teas are pretty much all I drink--I don't care for plain teas. I'm picky about which fruits, though--for example, I like eating actual peaches, but I don't care for peach-flavored candy or tea.

I'll confess to liking some scented candles from Yankee and Woodwick. They are not cheap but last a fair amount of time. I'll go in the store with my wife but I breathe through my mouth. I can't stand mouth breathing but it's that or a scuba tank & regulator. Bath & Body Works... she is solo. Some of those pricey candles are nasty but would be handy while camping, mosquito control.
