I know it seems like Chandler loses his charm since he's with Monica but it's supposed to be that way, he becomes more mature and he touch my heart in different way. I mean i never cry at Rachel and Ross scenes but Chandler keeps hogging my tears. Seriously best character.
Oh, yes. In fact, to me, the way he matured, grew up, and built a loving, stable, caring, honest, and altogether great relationship with Monica just added to his charm.

When Chandler decided to stay as Santa to listen to Ross' story about Hanukkah, that was one of the sweetest things he did for a friend. He knew Ben would do what he'd do cuz Ben loves Santa, so he used his wit to stay and get Ben also to stay and listen, knowing how much it meant to Ross for Ben to learn about Hanukkah. What a guy.
