He's lonely, awkward, and desperate for love, but mostly, Chandler Bing is the ultimate King of Sarcasm and he has no interest or ability to maintain it. Played by Matthew Perry, Chandler Bing rarely takes any moments on "Friends" seriously, often poking fun at any social situation to alleviate tension he feels in the moment. Matthew was the only one from the cast who was in every script meeting, he wrote the Best jokes ... Not only for himself and his impro was always on time. I think he's some kind of genius. I think he wrote a lot of scripts. I saw his 'End of Longing' in London. I loved it.

Fun fact: Matthew perry was the only actor that was able to write lines for his character. Reason being that during the first season he actually improvised a lot of his funny lines. The writers were going to ask him to stop, but the audience reaction was so good they allowed him to write his own lines.
