      Well said! Never give up! Try to use your finger as a "wall" so each movement ends flat on your finger. That's the best trick to keep the coil. I mean the index finger of the left hand. If you see I always use that finger as an end of the movement. I am not sure if the explanation it's good enough but this is my trick. Hope that helps! Thank you very much for your comment! 💪🙌🤙

    I am addicted to this! I used my six step looper in place of needle nose pliers so I could get uniform size. I have used 20g, 22g and 24g. Thank you for sharing!!

    This is so awesome! I found 2 crystal pendants with this technique of wrapping here in Panama. I've had the first one around a year, and I recently found the second one a few days ago. Something told me to do a Google search and voila, I was directed to this channel.❤
    I am so in love with this technique. It simply makes the pieces so unique!
    Thank you for taking the time and teaching us! Mil gracias!🙏🏼

    Where do we find stones that have ridges cut out of the sides of them?

    Right now I'm too busy having my blown. 🤯 I've seen them remove the wire. But free hand like that?😎😎😎😎. Cool!

    This may be a silly question…How does the cab stay in the frame? Is it a ridged cab?

    • @solanticx
      @solanticx  6 місяців тому

      Yes, it has a groove around. You can see the groove at the beginning of the video. There's an old video where I showed how to make the groove yourself on a cabochon using a Dremel tool. Hope that helps! 🙌🤙

      No silly question at all! The stone has a groove around it, it's not a plain cabochon. I show the groove at the beginning of the video,. Hope that helps! 🙌🤙🤗

    Jordi, how will be the tecnique if the stone its tear shape?

    • @solanticx
      @solanticx  Рік тому +1

      The technique it's the same, but instead of 20 mountains you will need to stop and check the length of the coil after finishing a new mountain, with the stone. You will place the end of the coil at the point of the teardrop. So the nod of the second wire would be on the tip of the teardrop. Please telll me if this answer it's enough, if not I willl do a video answering questions and showing how to do certain things asked in the comments. 🤙🤗🙌🌒☀️🌘

    Dear friend..How can I buy stones of that kind?

    • @solanticx
      @solanticx  Рік тому +2

      Sorry, I just deleted the first video, where I answered you. Most of stone carvers in Latam sell this kind of stones. You can try on local stone carvers facebook groups. I like to contact one (Facebook group) called "Casa trueke Parra" It's form by mexican stone carvers and vendors. Hope that helps!
