I just subscribed to your channel. I really liked your video. It's simple, to the point, and easy to follow, without a lot of fluff, and that's a nice change from a lot of what's out there.
Easy and very effective paint job. I have been using your contrast blending method and have gotten some pretty decent results. I still need some more practice as I'm getting tidemarks after blending stuff out. Those paints dry so fast. If you are going to paint another one of these I would like to see a blue-gray skin or purplish skin. Thanks for the video Mr. Matt.
thanks for watching Shane! I'm glad you're getting good results. Yeah the paints can dry pretty fast. Your speed should pick up with time. And working on sections as small as possible can help. Good luck!
Nice paint job! A nice pale yet bright version the hallowmourne scheme! I'd as for what FEC colors I'd like to see next I'd ask if you could recreate the very pale blue green skin color of the varghulf courtier like they did on the box. Honestly I could see myself painting a whole army in that color scheme.
Great paint job! I especially love the quasi non-metallic metal you used on the blade. Really effective vs the time investment. I'll be stealing that one for sure, along with a bunch of the other stuff. :D
Thank you for the video, very helpful for the people starting with the hobby like me. It seems Magos Purple can be very useful, can one use Targor Rageshade wash instead? I mean I could buy Magos Purple but I got Targor wash already. Of course one could say try for yourself, but I would like to know your opinion as you are much more experienced.
I just tried out Targor on the model. It would work but it looks different. It's more of a brown color and looks more like an old bruise on the skin. I'd say to try it out first and see if you like it. If not, Magos purple would be a great investment. Thanks for watching and good luck!
That's a good looking Ghoul. Charlie Day would be proud.
Oh, I like it very much, simple but looks good.
Thanks for showing!
I'd love to see you paint a sunburnt blisterskin cryptgaurd.
Good idea! Thanks for the suggestion
Another fantastic video, Matt! Although I don't play this army, these techniques are great for just about anything!

Thanks! I really appreciate that. Yeah that's my goal here. I'd like to make easy guides, no skits or other nonsense, just good brush on model action.
Always love the vids! Youve got great advice and have really helped me become more confident in mixing paints and blending on minis!
That is great to hear! Thank you for watching
Amazing guide! Thank you, was about to paint 10 of these for mordhiem and I’m 100% going to use this guide now.
Thanks for watching! I have another guide coming up tomorrow, a different scheme but just as easy
I’m still a noob and am about to paint up some crypt guards. This video is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
good luck with your army! Thanks for watching!
Excellent video Matt will have to incorporate some of these ideas into my Flesh Eater Court AOS Army.

Amazing! Would love to see some Bretonnia painting videos!
Coming soon! I picked up both the Bret and TK sets recently. Just have to finish building them
Looks great- would be good for Kroot too!
thanks! Yeah I agree - I'm looking forward to the new Kroot models. I think they will be a lot of fun to paint.
Hoping to paint mine with a cold moonlit blue and blue-grey feel so something like that would be good to see.
great idea!

Honestly, i would love to see you painting one of the bats instead of another ghoul, but their blue scheme would be awesome to watch too!

Great video as usual, Matt. What do you like to use to attach the model to the cork while painting?
Thanks Steve! I just use a little dab of super glue
