QUEEN! She is aging backwards!👑I had the pleasure of speaking with her over the phone. I turned into a total fangirl and she was soooooo humble. Long live the queen! Great job Mr. Johnson!😊
Oh yes!!! The one and only PAT DAVIS!! My favorite dancer! She is “The One”. An honor and pleasure to meet and spend time around her. Amen! A dream come true! WhooHoo!
Thank you for sharing this! I remember watching her on Soul Train as a small child. Are her and her husband based in Austria? Or back here now permanently in the US? Glad she is doing well.
That lady had some badass moves, back in the could not wait to see what move she was gonna do, her karate moves and kicks, her contortion moves, BADASS
I always thought she was the best dancer on Soultrain. I google to see what the dancers are up to. I miss Soultrain glad I found this interview. So Nice to see what they’re doing.
@@curtisjasper8403 when I was much younger back then they would show glimpse of her specially during the soul train line... she use to out dance the guys!!
Ms. Pat Davis Came To my Soul Train, After Party In 1996 🥳 My Party was Really about Her ❗I Gave Her A V.H.S. Of My Favorite moments of her 💕 including Disco 9000 🖤
First time I actually hear her in a full conversation!! My all-time favorite Soul Train Dancers. I copied alot of her moves, let's say... tried to. Lol🤣😅. No One does it better than Pat, Jomita was good, too. Pat had that magic. On here, one of my cousins favor her. God bless you, Pat! We love you !!!
Someone I always wanted to meet was PAT DAVIS!!! I just thought she was so amazing and creative and could out dance the best of them!!!!.....Maybe one day....
EXCELLENT INTERVIEW....i learned so much...and i always wanted to know whatever happened to Pat...i knew she went to Germany...but thats it...and then to learn a bit about what happened with EDDIE CHAMPION...YAY...i thought he was an amazing dancer and choreographer...he and his partner WANDA FULLER were immaculate... great African American culture...BRAVO>>>
Austria..not Germany..Her husband is from Vienna/Austria as well. She mention in the interview Reinhold Bilgeri and that guy is Austrian as well..and he started his career 1981 with a funky song called "Video Life" ua-cam.com/video/65P-468xcuk/v-deo.html which must be the song Pat Davies mentioned doing the choreography.
This interview was long overdue. I use to watch Soul Train just to see Pat Davis. I always wonder what happen and why she stopped dancing on Soul Train.
👏 Wow ❕❕That Conversation was Inspiring and very Informative ❕I Absolutely loved This Moment and Forever Love......Ms.Pat Davis❕My Favorite Soul Train Dancer ❕Pat Came To My Soul Train, After Party Years Ago❕I was Shocked to see Her 🚶♂️ Walk In My Home 🏡
Dance Nation until now I had never known what her voice sounds like thank u. Pat U was and definitely will is a gorgeous woman 💃🏽 tank U for all you've given.
I have the S.T. dance contest where james brown judged Damita Joe n Scoobie Doo won but i was lovin her Pat Davis getdown and he partner!!! I think that was 72!!!
Yo!!!! I finally found an interview with Patricia Davis. I had to Google it because I didn't see a soul train dancer interview with the others. She looks absolutely AMAZING!!! When I tell you I had the biggest crush on her..🤣 I didn't care about seeing nobody on soul train as much as I did her and again she looks FABULOUS. 😊❤
My favorite all time Soul Train dancer !!! Pat can just flat out dance,..ALWAYS found herself up in the front..hahaha...somebody liked her at ST !!! Damita to me was great too ,..but Pat was the fav.....!!!
Alright, little sister, this is your big brother Perry, and as Ricky Ricardo used to say, "Lucy, you got some plaining to do" Patricia Ann Davis, you could have at least called me to let me know that you had an interview coming out with Chuck. I really enjoyed it, and it was well done. Wow! the memories, the memories of us travelling around the world. I miss you girl, so when you come home you'd better call me. As your big brother, I am so proud of you and Wanda. You both were blessed with husbands that love you and it's obvious that you both love your husbands. I guess all those years of protecting the two of you while on tour paid off. Lol... The only time that I felt you might be in trouble was when we were on one of our tours in Mexico. That one was debatable, but I was willing to die for you if it had come to it. I love you little sis and so very proud of you. Give my regards to Karl, and tell him he should have been on Soultrain. To answer your question if I could breakdance or not, the answer would have been HECK NO! Actually, when Break Dancing started in late 79, and I saw some of the dancers spinning on their heads and doing what they did, that's when I hung up my Capezio dance shoes. I retired from dancing. I was done, baby. I wasn't about to break my neck. lol... Anyway, call me when you come in baby girl. LOVE YOU. Great job Chuck.
I love me some Pat omg!! My absolute fav had others but PAT was the one for me lol Heeeey Girl! Looging goood! ♥ Thank you for so those fantastic moves, so much fun Soooooul Traaaain!!! FOREVER!
The Robot QUEEN!! I wish I could just watch her do the Robot! I was an Original Soul Train” dancer in Chicago. My day to dance was Friday. DC paid our traveling fees.
Being from Los Angeles & the Crenshaw District - I have heard about this woman all my life - no need to ask her age - I would say that she has to be at least 67 years old
👑👑👑👑🌹 a lot of great dancers that held their own to the fullest but she was THE FUNKIEST!! Peep ANY of the James Brown song segments!!💪💪💪💪💪Thank You for making my childhood cool!! Triple OG LA!!
I have been looking for info on Pat "Butterfly' Davis! She has a tall friend (very pretty) that wore the Butterflies in her hair also Fawn Quinones? Was she Shabado's sister?
I will always respect Mr.Don Cornelius but after listening to different interviews with different dancers and people. Mr. Cornelius was a self centered type of a man or should it be more of a tyrant type of guy. I hear when pat and the guy on the right side of her were elaborating on the chaperone issue and Mr. Cornelius thought it was Ms.Pat's mom and the cameras started to give her less exposure and Mr. Cornelius paying the dancers a box of chicken and drink. But I'm glad that Mr. Cornelius brought us kids something to look at on Saturday mornings plus that hour past so fast, man I enjoyed the soul train. R.I.P. Mr. Cornelius
She is still beautiful!!! Age lost her number.
