I was there and I walked out with Russ Spencer that afternoon from the funeral home and we had a great chat walking to our cars. I loved Amanda. RIP and thank you Russ for being so nice that day to me..

Angelic , who better than you to deliver coverage of" Amanda Davis, gone but never forgotten." Prayers for Amanda's.
    daughter,family,friends
    &the many who turned
out in her honor. Hearing the news fromyou, having made your aquaintance,
    your compassionate, respectful deliverance
is a reflection all that Amanda fought so hard
to achieve, succeed, and remain in till her moving on, minority women at the helm,of broadcasting in Atlanta. Thank You for
bringing the sad message with a heartfelt & soft landing.

I guess I always felt like we were friends because I have watched Amanda on fox 5 for years and on channel 6 more recently..she had that warm kind hearted spirit that just made you feel as if...you knew her...and that she was your friend... I pray for her family to be strong as they mourn her loss...I was just a viewer and I'm saddened...I can't imagine how her family must be grieving right now...May god bless each of Amanda's loved ones and help them be strong..as they move foward... I will certainly miss her...and I know god will welcome his warm hearted angel home...she's with her daddy now...and their both getting hugs and being welcomed into heaven...

My eyes just tear up at how this woman warmed my heart growing up and apparently so many other Atlanta viewers. May her sweet soul Rest In Heaven
