What I like about a lot of his channels is that his meals are low calorie even for large portions. That's one thing I've struggled with a lot personally, that I have a large appetite and most "low calorie per portion" meals are like 200 kcal for 5 bites, like that aint gon do it for me. This is why something like Shirataki Noodles is a godsent for me.
The only issue I have with the channel is ingredients vary every video. One needs cottage cheese, another needs fresh basil. Hard to keep up but I guess you can always skip what you don’t want/have
I don't think you get enough credit for your cooking skills. This is a perfect chef-level summary of tenderizing beef, that otherwise would take me 5 or more different videos to understand. Many people think this is a "buff up" channel, but the techniques and recipes are top notch. Also, I love the mindset that by counting calories you can also fit an unhealthy snack here and there. It makes the diet sustainable long term. It's literally how I lost 50 kilos (1 year and counting).
Man you've got the best healthy food recipe channel on UA-cam right now and its not close. You're clearly way more knowledgeable about cooking than everyone else doing recipes like this. Doing great work my guy!
Pro-tip for cooking beef and broccoli if you are using a leaner or tougher cut of beef, definitely marinate it(my minimum is an hour) and then briefly brown it on a skillet and finish it off for 12-14min in a pressure cooker. Really helps it get tender.
I subscribed today! My wife sometimes gets cheaper, low fat steaks and leaves them to soak in carbonated water (and a little whiskey sometimes) for about an hour before cooking them. Makes them really tender.
Your page is awesome, I like that your page is health-focused and shows what nutrients you’re getting at the end! I was shocked to see that this channel doesn’t have more subs
Every other channel does more desserts than savory recipes, it's good to find a channel that focuses on savory foods alot, giving me lunch and dinner ideas
So I just made this recipe for myself and my family. ( I followed the instructions for the beef minus the rinsing in water- not because I was grossed out but because I was too lazy to do that extra step lol). Verdict: *chef’s kiss* LOVE this. Thank you!!!! 😊
WOW, I’m so hungry, excited & grateful I’m starting to pay attention to your guidance now, these past few recipes have been so easy, I can hardly wait to try them all.
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻Weiter so!! Freu mich schon auf deine nächsten Videos!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😊
I just discovered your channel and I'm amazed you don't have more viewers. Your cooking videos are straight forward, the recipes aren't too complicated and the foodis delicious always.
My god, you're finally blowing up. About damn time. I remember when I first stumbled upon your channel I was so surprised you had less than 1k subscribers. Keep up the good work my friend :) Awesome recipe as always, can't wait to try it out!
I remember back when you had less than 1k subs, almost 20k now, wow! Good job on persevering through it all, hard work is paying off! Hope the road to 50k will come fast!
I've been washing my meat ever since kenji put out that video and people always freak out hahaha. It does make a mind blowing difference. Your video shows it so well! Love your videos, they are addicting 🚀
Gunna have to make this for sure, probably add a little bit of white or yellow and some green onion, maybe even add some mushroom and serve with Jasmin rice. This one looks like a future go to meal. Definitely gunna try this meat washing technique, learned something new!
Hello Felu, I made this tonight for dinner, following your methods exactly. The trick of boiling the broccoli made a big difference. I added a red pepper because it seemed like the thing to do 😀. Thanks for the great work you do with these videos! Greetings from Virginia, USA. Rob
i’m definitely going to try this! i love chinese food (reminds me of americanized chinese beef & broccoli) but i will add some rice too! thanks for sharing. I really enjoy your channel!
Felu, thank you for another great idea, I will surely try washing my meat... that came out wrong but I suppose you get the idea. It looks like my additions comments for the algorithm are no longer needed. I am truly happy for you man as you have made a high quality content for some time now and I did not understand why you do not have tons of subscribers. But it looks like that day will come soon. Cheers and as always great video and looking forward for future content. 😁
I made this for dinner tonight and doubled the recipe. My family loves it! It makes it easy when I’m not cooking one meal for myself and a different one for my family because I’m trying to lose weight.
I think you should have further explained what “cutting across the grain” meant. I had to search it up on google, but besides that this is an awesome video.
Just made this and like all your recipes, turned out great! Although I'd tone down the salt when marinating the meat as it gets a bit overbearing ❤ Amazing how such a lean cut of meat was so tender though, just perfect!

I just discovered your channel, and I want to try everything 😅 I lost 28 pounds but gained back everything because of stress. Your recipes seems really good and I can't wait to incorporate them into my diet!
Any chance of making a good protein cookie recipe? I don't have a lot of molds for baking but would like to make something filling as a snack with a bit of added protein that is easy to make. Or would any of your other recipes on the channel work if you just formed them into cookie shapes? I'm loving the content, very good work
Thank you so much. I don't have a good protein cookie dough recipe yet but I will work on that. I'm just into savory dishes right now because they are more fun to make.
Mamma Mia - Felu, I just made this and you are right - IT IS INSANE! I did it without baking soda though, as I didn't have any, and it is so so so tender even without that ingredient. Woouw! I just came back from a trip to Napoli and was inspired - would you consider making a healthy scalloppini recipe? 🥰🥰
Random question… I make beef jerky a lot… (like a LOT) lol. I want to try your marinade technique with my next batch. For a more tenter, less tough result. Can I do the steps you suggested, then let it marinade in my own spice blend? Also… I usually start the dehydration from raw… what do you think about a quick browning in a pan then dehydrating? I LOVE your channel btw, and plan on buying your book very soon!!!
Great work Felu! do you perhaps have alternative/ cheaper subs for especially the hoisin and the oyster sause? like do you think I could add tomato paste or something? lol. love thsi!

You should definitely use Cocoa Aminos. Tastes better than Soy and much lower in calories.

Thank you :)
Just made this and like all your recipes, turned out great! Although I'd tone down the salt when marinating the meat as it gets a bit overbearing ❤ Amazing how such a lean cut of meat was so tender though, just perfect!
I'd sub cornstarch with a better starch and leave off the rice, but I'm more keto so gotta cut carbs where I can.
And the sauce is also where most people add their massive amount of added carbs/calories
broccoli is also has the most protein of the average vegetables you find in the supermarket.
It's fine, you can sub that. I'm not keto and I like rice a lot :)
One of my all-time favorites!
Awesome hint with the beef, again doing a great job!
Thank you :)
