Have my ring camera installed now for 1 month and wouldn't change it for any other camera. No need to worry about the battery as mine is still over 80% after 1 month. Am surprised at how good it is.
I had to install the camera upside-down. But I can rotate the image. Ring says that there's a video setting that says "rotate view " but my app does not show that
If you are drilling into concrete, you need a 15/64 drill bit. You then slide the anchor in and screw the back plate in. What is annoying, is that the drill bit isn't included with the stick up cam AND there are no directions on how to install. DUMB. If I didn't already have a ring camera doorbell, which includes the drill bit, I would of had no clue on drill bit size and would of been guessing. If you have an SDS drill I'd suggest using it, otherwise you will be there for a while with a normal drill. Hope this helps. Ring, figure it out will you?
