What a fun project to do with your daughter. The yarn colors are beautiful. I can’t wait to see what crochet project you will do with your hand dyed yarn. I just subscribed to your channel. 🌦☀️🌤
Fantastic! I’ll be interested in seeing how well they retain the colors! I haven’t had much luck with cotton 😂😂 kool aide may not work on the cotton because of the citric acid in it but it dyes wool wonderfully!
Thanks!! Tshirts are Cotton and this is for T-shirts, so I’m sure it will be ok, we’ll see!... I saw on a video that Koolaid doesn’t work well on Cotton.
I think I found a new addiction!! This was SOOO FUN!!! The yarn turned out gorgeous!!
And how has the yarn held up? Any finished projects?
@@raindrop5273 so far so good! I’ve made some dishcloths with it and the color has remained. Thanks for watching!
I think you just gave me the confidence to give it a try 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I have zero patience and I did it! Lol! A lot of fun and not too messy. Try it, you’ll like it. 😉

We tye dyed t-shirts and I used yarn to mop up the excess dye . Came out super cute 😊
Love how vivid yours came out 🤩
That’s a great idea!! Lol!! Have a great week, Denise!! 😁
Very cool! I've been trying to get my daughter to do this with me!
It’s so fun!!
I've tried multiple times with chunky yarn && it didn't work 😭 but I put mine in the washer & dryer like you do tshirts
Oh no! Sorry to hear that!
Did you rinse in cool water after so the colors don’t bleed out ?
Yes, I did.
@@CrojoCorner awesome, can’t wait to see them worked up. 👍😘🧶
@@leeannstearns9923 thank you!! Me too!! Thanks for watching, Lee Ann!!
can i use it for milk cotton yarn? :(
I’m not sure… sorry.
I wish you'd showed the application process
We just squirted it on and rubbed it in. You can watch my daughter in the background. Thanks for watching! 😁
Did you wrap the yarn in plastic? You're supposed to do that after you dye it.
I put it in a plastic zip lock bag. 🙂
Has anyone tried this on acrylic? is it even possible (only because that's all I have in the house, lol.)
It doesn’t work on acrylic. It will just wash out because it isn’t porous.
