I put aside 30% religiously from my settlement direct deposit. I know it’s not exact and perfect but shouldn’t it work for quarterly estimated tax payments?
I use Google sheet.... Access anywhere. Phone, tablet, computer. #cloud

I’m more of a spreadsheet + QuickBooks guy. I’ve used Trucking Office before. It’s probably sufficient for most people.

I know how to do the formulas but my only issue is that I drive for the time being so there is not much time to do things being all tired. Anyway I guess I may have to hire someone to help out with bookkeeping. Thank you for the response!

@@TruckingFromScratch Alright great I was afraid you would say that I'm an accountant and have not used it a long long time last I remember the credits and debits are reversed but I guess I better get some practice in . We have been using easy expense free app to track expenses on the road. It takes pictures and believe I can transport into quickbooks. I know i can run reports and send files.

This isn’t a recommendation, but if it was, I would say go with Simple Start.
Side note: you said you’re leasing onto a dispatch company? What does that mean exactly?
@@TruckingFromScratch @Trucking From Scratch I'm car hauling. So they're a trucking company, but I don't haul for them. They find me cars/loads and dispatch them to me. I'm o/o making my own schedule and routes, with my own loads (found by them) under their authority. I'm also so new, that I'm probably using the terminology incorrectly 😅

You just need to hire a trusted bookkeeper that specializes in the trucking industry. That's all. It should run you about 500 quarterly.
