I was placed out of service at weigh station in union Connecticut because the brake chamber had grease on it and she could not properly measure the clearance. When the mechanic came he said nothing was wrong with the brake cost me 600.00 for him to come out and tell me that when he explained to the officer nothing was wrong she said she did not care too much grease was on it.
certain people love to be nasty and try to make things hard for you.Stay on top of everything every time so they can't get no action against you.

That's a great point made regarding using your cell phone for your ELD logs- I have always recommended getting a mount and a TABLET with a large enough screen to see without being distracted...
These watchmen don't have super human eyesight. If you can't see them using a phone, then chances are they can't see you using a cell phone.
Most truckers use headsets and have WAZE to tell us in advance where these watchesrs are posted and spying out us hard working folks to stress us out daily.

Hey David,,, do you think 2023 is good year to start your own trucking company? as far as I talked to some brokers they are not happy from several different companies,,, so do you think is good to start in 2023 or better to wait?
@fugitive1205 • If you have to ask that question, with all the free information online on starting trucking companies, you should DEFINITELY wait...for as long as you can. Wait, wait, wait....and wait some more while working your dead-end, SAFE, factory job.

@@YassinAde yeap is like a permit for state of Mississippi. Anytime you are overweight need to buy permit.

No whats going on with the truckers will, we need to unionize trucking. I can't do it alone we have to come together so the government can step in.
I always turn my lights on when im driving and through the scale.
don't for get some scales asks turn off the head lights but its only when they can see you did it, even at night time they want light off, one of them is Huntington, OR
