Thank you for this amazing and thorough tutorial! I just framed my first finish and it’s for my baby grandson’s nursery. You made it so easy! All supplies came from Fat Quarter Shop!
Excellent tutorial. Thanks I worked up two crossstitch projects for my nieces and this will be the first time I will be attempting to frame them myself. A bit nervous, I’ll admit. 😅
Thank you so much for the framing tutorial! Now I know how to use those framing products you sell and will be ordering soon! Far Quarter Shop is so customer friendly!
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. I do have a question. When framing with sticky board sometimes I find that the piece becomes too thick to fit in the frame so that the back board doesn’t stay in place with the small metal tabs. What am I doing wrong or how do I go about not having this problem?
Hello Linda! Kimberly’s floss colors will be available on the blog, three days after the club ships. If we have leftover kits, they will be available on the site.
Hello Doris! Each month you will receive a Snapshot series chart, 10ct Farmhouse Vintage Cross Stitch cloth and DMC floss. However, you are welcome to use the colors that you want.
I've been framing my work so far, but what I struggle with most is frames that aren't really "deep" enough to hold the fabric with the board. getting the prongs of the frame back closed has been quite difficult and frustrating for this reason. do you have any tips for this? is there a particular brand of frames that better accommodate what we want to do?
Hello Starlet! We recommend taking your sticky board or finishing board that for your stitched piece on and see if it fits in the frame. If you are also backing the frame with fabric covered sticky or foam board, take that into consideration as well when you are trying to find a frame.
thanks for the tips, I have only done a few so far and always striving to make the next one better. it helps to remember what others have said at times.. "no one else is going to know what it looks like on the back." lol but I do. I'll keep soaking the knowledge and get better and better at this. =)

Thank you so much for the excellent video! I was able to follow it and framed a cross stitch piece for the first time ❤
Loved the framing tutorial. Also like the supplies you used. You made the framing look so easy. I really hate finishing, but I might try this.
I L❤️VE cross stitching!!! Thank you for the framing tutorial! I've had mine custom framed but not anymore!!! Thank You!!!!
Thank you so much for the really simple tutorial!
I am excited about this club. I have already signed up. Thank you, Kimberly, for the tutorial.
I’m so excited about this club. I’v already signed up🥰 Thank you FQS ❤️
Very helpful. Thank you.

Hello Karen! If you use batting - it will become kind of thick. Also - if your corners are bulky it will be harder to press the back board into place.
This is so cute! Will you be giving some tips on stitching in hand with the 10 count cloth while the club is going on?
Hello Jessica! Kimberly will probably provide tips during livestream. We are planning to do a similar video concerning stitching in hand.
Great idea! Will the DMC floss pack be available if you don’t join the club?
Hello Linda! Kimberly’s floss colors will be available on the blog, three days after the club ships. If we have leftover kits, they will be available on the site.
Love the club, but I already have all of the patterns. Is there anyway to get the floss for the club separately?
Hello Kathy! Kimberly’s floss colors will be available on the blog, three days after the club ships.
@@FatQuarterShopFlossTube I don't understand how to find Kimberly's floss colors!
Great project
Beautiful😊
I’m so tempted.
The patterns look cute. Are you going to release just the patterns? I do not want someone choosing the colors I use at all.
Hello Doris! Each month you will receive a Snapshot series chart, 10ct Farmhouse Vintage Cross Stitch cloth and DMC floss. However, you are welcome to use the colors that you want.
@@FatQuarterShopFlossTube ....that wasn't what I asked.
Doris-the patterns were released a few years ago. They are from Pine Mountain. A cute series !
@@lindakersting8819 ...Thanks Linda. They are darling. I just don't like kits unseen. But I loved the ones I saw!
The patterns are available individually on our site.
Thank you!
Can you change them around as our months are different here down under.
Hello Janine! Are you asking about the order we are going to release them in?
Put out a fresh cross stitch for every month of the year or hang them in a grouping.

I used to do my own framing, put a piece of cardboard, then brown paper...sign the back.

Love the patterns but there are easier wayz for you to do them in a frame
Sew cute!
are the patterns in color
Hello Judy! The patterns are in black and white.
@@FatQuarterShopFlossTube well I guess i will have to wait until someone does a color one. I am spoiled by your color ones ;-)
@@FatQuarterShopFlossTube I will have to wait tell Sew Emma comes out with a color pattern with the months "-)
Do you worry about the finished cross stitch being right up next to the glass?
Hello Lindi! Not always, When Kimberly gets it professionally framed, she adds spacers so that the glass does not touch the cross stitches
