Oh Kimberly! I just made my first pillow finish using your tutorial. Thank you so much. It turned out beautiful and I’m so happy with it. This will be the first of many. Thanks again for sharing your expertise. What a great community you’ve created.
Thank Kimberly, this is perfect because I have stitched piece that I don’t have enough fabric to make a little pillow, so now I know how to make it beautiful!!!! Thank you again!!! 💚
Absolutely adorable. I must make one or two or three or...Lol. Great tutorial. This looks like the easiest way to make a pillow to me. I love envelope pillows. Thank you for sharing your expertise.
Very Cute!!! That would work for any of the smaller cross stitch pieces .....I think it would be especially cute on little Halloween pillows!!! Thank you, Kimberly!!!
I love this little project! The rick rack was a real nice touch. I sure didn't think you were going to be able to get that pillow form in there LOL! Thanks Kimberly. This is going on my make list for my very patriotic friend.
Another way to get a really crisp corner is to stitch to 1 stitch from the corner, turn 45 degrees and take one stitch. Then turn another 45 degrees and stitch straight down the side. Do this at each corner and when you turn it, the corners will be really crisp. I also trim the corners, but with the stitch at the corner, there is still less fabric and the corners are wonderful. :)
How cute! Just received my stitch quarterly today. I am looking forward to stitching the flag and turning it into a pillow. Thanks for always proving well made items, all the tutorials and weekly flosstubes. I truly enjoy watching every week.
It is good to stabilize the cross stitching by squaring it up and ironing some fusible interfacing onto the back. It’s a tip I picked up from Vonna Pfeiffer.
Wonderful video! Great idea to use the envelope method for the back on a small pillow! If you don’t have the correct pillow form size you need, you can always make your own with muslin and stuffing. I have made a few myself. Hope you keep showing cross stitch finishing tutorials. You’re doing a great job!
Very cute! I bought that pillow form when it was on sale but didn’t realize it was that small until I got it. Thank you for giving me something to use it for. It’s perfect!
Thanks for the tutorial. Cute pillow finish. I'm stitching along on my piece but it probably won't be done by this July 4th. I was getting so nervous when Kimberly was cutting the cloth. I'm always afraid of cutting too much and all that hard work will be ruined.
Well good morning and I love the pillow that is beautifulI would love to join your club thing but can't afford to right now so I will keep watching you two to show the greatest things the patterns everything thanks for sharing and stay safe and God bless and keep stitching and sewing and quilting 🇱🇷🇱🇷😇😇😇
I’ve been working on this; first time ever working on Lugana, too! I was trying to figure out how to finish it. I love this! I think I am going to give the pillow a try.

Another great FQS tutorial! I need to hurry up and finish my cross stitching! 🇺🇸 Question- what is that amazing quilt behind Kimberly in the video?
Hello! That is the William's Honor Quilt and it is also a free pattern: www.fatquartershop.com/williams-honor-quilt-pattern-free-pdf
Can you tell me which creative grid ruler you used in this video? Loved this tutorial--not sure I can do it, but I am going to try!

I don’t understand, why all the fabric waste 😩
Hello Jnet! Kimberly uses her scraps for other projects. The fabric used in this video was scrap fabric from another tutorial.
