    Thank you for all of your great insight - being a stitcher I would be really concerned about having a piece that was in process for any amount of time framed without a gentle soak and rinse to remove finger residue that might show or yellow later.

    Thank you for such detailed information. Following videos I have stretched my needlework (Elizabeth Bradley kit) but still don't know how to fold the corners for lacing. 10spi cotton canvas is quite thick so can end up with bulky corners. Perhaps need to mitre the corners but to cut the canvas need to know how many rows close to the corner to leave.

      You are so welcome! Good luck with the canvas. I generally do a mitered fold, and yes, it's bulky.

    Wish you lived here! I just had a piece framed and feel it wasn’t done right. I think I need a consult!

    thank you for the pointers. i just subscribed & am enjoying watching you do your craft. i am a cross-stitcher & i like to frame my own pieces. (im very particular) i just did 2 only. i got a discount from Michaels & got almost everything i needed to do it. i have watched a few videos on how to do- i use appliqué pins to hold it in. my main question is - i did get clear spacers from Michaels. i saw the picture you did for a lady with a curly hair lady in black silouette primitive. she chose glass, spacers, & nice charcoal frame. i saw you make it on utube. what i wasn’t sure on, did u adhere the black spacers directly to the edges of glass & that is what was leaning on cross-stitch?
    - also where can i buy some decent quality clear spacers, enough to clear cross-stitch & look elegant & professionally framed.
    thank you so much Paige 😃

      Hi! Thanks so much for being here and for getting in touch. Yes, the spacers are attached to the glass and sits between the glass and your stitched fabric. I would recommend DickBlick.com - they may be a good source for spacers. Good luck to you :)

    How would I ship a crossstitch project to you for framing? I’m not quite done yet, but hopefully in a month or two!

      A tube or bubble mailer works well. Send me an email when you're ready paigetheframer@ gmail.com - I can't wait!!

    Can cross stitch be placed under glass?

    • @PaigeTheFramer
      @PaigeTheFramer  2 роки тому

      Yes, but it's best that the glass not touch your stitching. Use matting or spacers to keep the glass up and off of the artwork. Good luck!
