- Hey everyone and welcome back to more Zeepkist! Today we're building off road tracks so I decided to take it literally and build a track where you drive off the road into the ditches!

You could try the theme: no checkpoints. Gotta be long, you can cover what you can for cheese, but whatever the community finds, it finds.
I was about to comment the same thing, I think that would be pretty entertaining.

I think innovative skips are just part of the skill curve :D
Just look at TrackMania! They found bugs and weird skips all over the place. It just makes the World records that much more fun to watch :D

Track idea - Brachistochrone.
You get there faster when you go on a hilly up and down road than a constant slope. Can you pull that out of game physics Kan?

Ice on the down so you flip and wipe out.
Not quite the same physics bending but might do well enough
The risk of not finishing would probably be a lot lower if you didn't keep resetting every time you encounter the slightest imperfection.

There's definitely a balance to it. Do you waste time on a run that you know is going to have a terrible time and you might not even finish anyway, or do you reset and completely start over, losing any chance of that run ever being good? It's all about judgement and trying to maximize your time to not waste it. I suppose going for any time at all at the start would be good, so less restarting, and then once you get an actual time, then you can go for the faster times and restart more often when you know it won't be as good.
I actually really liked this track, and while I was watching I had the idea of a track with hidden checkpoints that the players have to find, or a non-linear track where people have to go to different parts of the map to collect checkpoints in any order and it's about finding the best way to connect them all (you could even do both in one if you wanted to).

@@tylerkuhn9931 well, rpgs can also be linear, same for rpg tracks. I do agree however that the rpg track genre lends itself really well for nonlinear tracks, and that brings me to an example of what could work: imagine... pizza delivery to multiple places across the map, seemingly random.
I've tried to make a map like this with the free map editor of TMNF, but kept adding more and more stuff and then ran into limitations of the free/built-in editor where you can't overlap things :P

I think I figured out the new dynamics of you 3.
Kosmo = fun theme tracks with a few tech
Dapper = troll but tracks with cheese tech
Kan = "its easier than last week" Almost impossible track because kan cursed himself for not knocking on wood.

Theme! Falling with style! The tracks are almost vertical falling with having to fall through the finish
Build a track so that the jumps and transitions are perfect for a 3 wheeled soapbox car
That will probably be really difficult to achieve since
1. The physics properties tend to vary between singleplayer and multiplayer
2. The physics engine is non-deterministic, meaning that even with identical user input and movement there will be variations and deviations
Wtf kAN. There are people who run lobbies of *exclusively* your tracks. I've never seen that for anyone else. And your tracks are in a lot of regular mixed playlists, especially Full Speed and Midnight Bobsled, but really all of them see some play.
You can check your subscription count in the workshop too, you have tons of subscribers to both the collection and the individual tracks, and the most common way to gain a subscriber is because the track played in a public lobby and a dozen people were auto-subscribed (if they didn't already have it).

I was literally hosting a full lobby called “all kANs tracks”. And have seen other lobby’s that play your maps :)
It was maybe 4 weeks ago, but when I got this game the first multiplayer lobby I saw was specifically playing all 3 of your tracks. 👍

kAN. I don’t hate your tracks.
Good tip: The reason why your tracks are so hard is because you have so much time to validate it.
I recommend doing the 15min tracks again so you don’t have as much time to validate it.
15min tracks = less time to build a hard track which helps in making them easier.
Oh, and why are your videos usually a day after Kozmos and Dappers?
@The gaming duckies ^^ they are recording together, so except Kan goes to sleep after it, and the other publish straight away, it shouldn't be a reason

Theme Idea:
Sky Ships/Sky Ship jumping.
I think back to a bunch of 3D sonic games where sonic is jumping from 1 eggman airship to the next where things are blowing up. . . I just like the idea of riding on top of other vehicals miles above the ground. . . but given the limited track pieces. . . not a great idea now that I think it out loud.
Instead, how about curves only?
Pipes, funnels, fans. Anything but straight pieces/sections allowed.

Theme idea: Vertical. You could build a giant wall ride or a straight down run with fans pushing you back into the track or a straight up with constant speed boosts.
Theme idea: "around the house". Perhaps it means around a bunch of houses (like through a neighborhood) or around the inside of a house with furniture and stuff. Maybe you are tiny and can drive through mouse holes and into the walls or something.
Track idea: Ready Player One
In the movie, to get the first key, it’s not going forward, it’s driving in reverse. Under the map and still winning. I think that would be hilarious and really fun!
Theme: go-stop track. A track that you constantly bounce between max speed and near full stop (like hair-pins or extreme hills or fans).

Build a track with multiple paths and all the paths have different obstacles and all paths are able to get to the finish.
Track idea - sewer, the ditches kinda gave me a sewer vibe and I think a longer sewer track with tunnels would be cool
Theme idea, "Minimalism" just put a finish off in the distance somewhere, and add fog so its hard to find even in photo mode, and see if people can find it.
Finally i waitted 2 days for this yes
Looked like a fun one. I think there is lot of potential for finding better lines.
Track idea - Recycling
See how many different ways you can use and reuse the track pieces you place (would be interesting to see a point where people drive over a checkpoints if that's possible)

Track Idea: Tube
Entire track (except maybe start) is just one big tube (either the actual tube pieces sized up or custom made one with roads). the idea that came to my mind is the train tunnels in GTA under the main city
8:28 I think this one was just the right amount of difficulty. It's easier than most your other maps.

idea: a 0 gravity track
How about a theme of gauntlet or triathlon? Track broken into parts, with like a dedicated offroad section, jumps section, fans section, and obstacles section?
That was a good map
Perhaps a "downhill mountain pass" theme would be cool? Base it on a real one, or make a made-up one, but some form of like, Initial D-styled downhill would be sick. trees on both sides of the road, gutters that you can use to speed up, hairpins that you HAVE to brake/slide for.
I think building mazes could be cool

Theme idea - grab a dictionary, flip to a random page, pick a random word, then make a track with that as the theme. Could be really unique tracks from that :)

You should do some tunnels and lane transition Track where by you start on a road than cross into an incoming Lane than transit to a ditch than do a Chris-Cross into a tunnel and cross-Chris back to a road than figure 8 and do it reverse and have them meet in one lane both directions. Due to the to anti-collision rule in the game it should be fine but confusing at the same-time.
Ive been in public lobbies only a few times and ive seen kosmos tracks and kans tracks in there.
Would be cool if you guys built free fall track that goes down vertically and only has parts of the road to direct a car somewhere
9:10 me and another person literally made 2 public lobbies DEDICATED to playing your tracks, so you may not have been in one, but they are definitely there.

U should do checkpoint only track with only checkpoints used for track. But u can use boosters and fans and other fun items but the track itself should be checkpoints

I would suggest a deportance tuning. More grip but less top speed
I liked your midnight bobsled and fullspeed tracks. If you want more people playing the tracks you make spend some more time on the routing.

Kan, I've been in public lobbies that were solely dedicated to your tracks.
You should do “a walk in the park” theme.
What about a triathlon? you've done so many different concepts so far so what about a concept where you use three old concepts combined into one track?
Using fans, you could do a "moon gravity" track
It would sweet to have a live episode of running three pre made tracks so one live event is three from one creator and than swap to the next live event so they can run another three and than the last live. This would give each channel a live event with three random tracks.
Track idea: non newtonian track
-flows while going slow
-hard while trying to go fast
I think the problem with people not finishing the Maps is that the games Physics are not determined.
That flair of Random, while interesting really does throw some ideas you all have had out the window and also leads to a map thats piss easy to run on your own leads to few actually completing it.
Your next theme should be going crazy
Try tracks based off of natural disasters such as a giant crack in the course or fallen buildings.
