    lol we stayed in the same hotel. There are some really good food spots if you travel a few blocks up... there's also a massage spot in the same direction (opposite direction of the beach). Not so much to do in Krabi other than their island tour, and I forget how many islands we went to. I think it was 5 maybe... one island was called dolphin island

    Do you use Airbnb for renting in Koh Phangan? Or do you recommend something else?

      Yes I used. You can check Airbnb, Agoda, Booking, Facebook, etc.

    Please can u please give me a little advice? I don't qualify 4 a 'Digital Nomad Passport' so do I just enter on a normal 'Tourist Visa?' Much appreciate your advice as slightly confused?x

    I island hopped around the South of Thailand for a couple months last (Canadian) winter. Did you by chance get to visit Koh Samui? You don't mention it in the video, but it's really cool and near Koh Phangan

    • @JooseTheNomad
      @JooseTheNomad  11 місяців тому +1

      Nice! I haven't been to Samui yet. Was thinking of maybe going there for a month next winter but I love Koh Phangan so much that I'm not sure if Samui would be as nice for me haha

    • @WeiFinder
      @WeiFinder 11 місяців тому +1

      @@JooseTheNomad I'm in the same situation with Koh Phangan, not sure if I'll like it as much as Koh Samui haha. The sand and water is not perfect like on the Andaman sea side aka South-West TH, but there is tons to visit on Samui, it's easily one of my favourite islands
      Samui and Phangan are quite close to eachother though, when it's clear out you can see each island just by naked eye... easy ferry ride with AC.. I'll likely visit Phangan in ~5 months

    • @JooseTheNomad
      @JooseTheNomad  11 місяців тому +3

      @@WeiFinder yeah what I like about Phangan is that in the north the beaches and water is amazing but it's only like 12 minutes ride to the west where's amazing sunsets, more cafes, gyms, etc. And 10 minutes more to the south where's more markets, Makro, etc. And all the roads are so beautiful surrounded by coconut trees and ocean views. I think it's similar in Samui but longer distances between different areas?

    • @WeiFinder
      @WeiFinder 11 місяців тому +2

      @@JooseTheNomad A lot of the action happens on the East side of Samui around the Chaweng area, everything there is a 5 min drive away there; Ocean views, street food, massages, beach clubs, fire shows every night. And the entire island has hidden gems like monuments, waterfalls, mountains, 5 star resorts and modern villas, etc.
      Each island has its vibe, I'm looking forward to experiencing Koh Phangan

    • @JooseTheNomad
      @JooseTheNomad  11 місяців тому +1

      @@WeiFinder yeah the different vibe is the thing why I'd wanna try Koh Samui!

    There is some useful information in the video and a lot of nice moments. But it is difficult to watch when you are talking so fast and switching scenes every 3-5 seconds. It is difficult to concentrate.
