I like the idea that Wily installed a teleporter in his castle that leads to Cossack's so that Mega Man would destroy it on accident when he inevitably won
Oh game gear Mega Man... Choices were made. Awesome TAS! It's really funny how the game's inaccuracies compared to the rest of the series give this playthrough its own texture.
9:52 XYXYXYXYXY Also, we have Star, Napalm, Wave & Stone from 5, Bright & Toad from 4, a random Quick Man stage, the Wily Castle doesn't explode but the Cossack one does, and Toad Man, of all robot masters, is weak to water? How on Earth did Capcom allow such a game to be made!
I stumbled upon this game many, many, many years ago while I was... uh... demoing a bunch of classic series games. I'd never heard of it, and rushed to play it. I then realized exactly why I'd never heard of it.
Seriously, can someone archive a 2010 game called *_Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game_* and speedrun it? I feel like he's been long forgotten since 2014, delisted.
Splendid. Although story wise, I can't be happy for Megaman since I learned that Willy's horrible crime was to give machine free will, and that megaman was "spared", meaning still a slave obeying humans. I hope I got it wrong ^^'
According to canon, Wily did not give machines free will. Neither his robots nor Light's had free will. They were programmed in certain way. First robots with free will were X (Light's) and Zero (Wily's). Robots with free will were called Reploids. So, technically yes, Wily made a robot with free will (like Light, but Wily could not control Zero, so he was sealed - X was sealed too, but in order to perform tests on him), but it was not his prime crime. He's crime was just trying to take over the world with help of robots he made/programmed.
@@XanthinZarda ... What happened in X? Didn't dwelve into the lore much for that part, all I know is that the big bad was some kind of robot hero until he was corrupted by a virus, or fused with it, or something of the sort.
But machines are man made. That would be like if you had 8 forks in your kitchen and someone came and gave 7 of them free will, do you feel bad for the 8th fork?
Yeah, this unofficial Mega Man game. LMAO I actually quite like it, just not by a lot, espescially those high pitched horrid death sounds. My only problem was how absolutely shit the Game Gear's battery life is, even the Game Boy color had better battery life. Sega failed when it comes to making an efficient and low power portable console.
Man the GG was so rad. 6 AA batteries and you had a good 10 minutes of fun right in your hands.
Is this sarcasm or...?
@@davidthecommenter hmm
nope it wasnt sacrasm you're definitely right about it being 10 minutes lmao
In full COLOR!
Back when people speedran games out of necessity.
13:35 Dr. Cossack: NO! My castle! My beautiful castle.
I like the idea that Wily installed a teleporter in his castle that leads to Cossack's so that Mega Man would destroy it on accident when he inevitably won
Megaman: Ah, wrong castle!
Megaman:sorry dr.cossack
MISSION PERFECT?
Lol
Why do I get the feeling that someone mixed up the Weapon get and Boss selected tracks?
Not only that, they also have Gravity Man's theme playing in Wave Man's stage.
YES! My castle the beautiful castle!
Shame this TAS is longer than the Game Gear's battery life.
@ADEBISI ADEBISI are you okay?
@ADEBISI ADEBISI You're very rude. I hope you trip while walking down a flight of stairs.
@ADEBISI ADEBISI are you the god of wind? because i'm hearing wooshes everywhere you go.
Sophie Grey One of the more original woosh jokes I've heard, so here's my like.
ADEBISI deleted his comment, what a coward.
My favourite part is that Cossack's Citadel is blown up, presumably because you never communicated that it was Wily the whole time.
I quite like it too
X4: Hello.
I love how there is mountains in his castle.
I swear that the weapon obtained and boss selected music were swapped.
The music used for "weapon obtained" was actually originally the Cossack's fortress stage intro theme!
Oh game gear Mega Man... Choices were made.
Awesome TAS! It's really funny how the game's inaccuracies compared to the rest of the series give this playthrough its own texture.
I find it oddly unsatisfying. Like "this doesn't go here". I genuinely thought it was a ripoff or something
weird mash up of MM4 and MM5...Quick Man as last stage??
And, if memory serves, the boss music from 3...
Giving Wave Man's stage Gravity Man's music instead sure was a choice.

We present...
CHUNKY WILY!!!!
The music in this game is really cute sounding to me.
YES! My castle beautiful castles DC
But they had SO MANY quality assurance technicians!!! What happened?!
Remember, this is a port published by US Gold. They have very low standards as a whole. (Not as bad as Tiertex, but still)
This game made a "fine" addition to the collection of examples of US Gold having low quality standards.

Mega Buster charge goes perfectly with the music.
It sounds like lighting
13:30 You get Wily weapon? Or Wily UFO? xD
haha mega man killed wily and absorbed his soul
YOU GET WILY WEAPON
Is dr. Wily trying to fly at ending screen?
1:27 is this humanly possible?
*Wait mega man was on game gear*
This game doesn't look too bad.
Too bad it sounds like oscillator vomit
Hilarious comment is hilarious!
Could be worse, could be MMII GB!

This game's graphics looks like something between 8 and 16 bit.
12 bit
Toad Man's weakness is... ... ...water? O_o
This was certainly entertaining to watch, for someone who has never played a GG.
11:55 real MegaMan music??? Nice
Why is Quick man's stage just a thing here??
They should have just changed the level designs like in the Game Boy games.
Megaman x2 ????????
Why Capcom hasnt given us a collection of all the handheld games is baffling. GG,GB,GC,GBA,PSP,WS,WSC,NGP and whatever else i missed
It's shocked Pikachu Man.
how does the collision clipping works?
is it humanly possible?
12:46 awesome
MegaMan killed wily and took his powers!? What’s he gonna get arthritis?

When a G.G Megaman game has a better camera than GBA Megaman and Bass
It surprising too, since it's a game from US Gold
Mega Man doing the Pikachu meme all the way !
